Not bad pizza don't hesitate to call them if your order is late. They cancel orders even ones paid in advance. They don't contact people that transactions are cancelled. Their on line ordering will let you order to addresses they don't go too.

The pizzas, toppings and employees are amazing. Such friendly staff. The crust was delicious. And the atmosphere was fine. Geat ac. The only down side, and it really destroys it for me is the sitting equipment. There way to small. And are not moveable. So it made a very painful and very un enjoyable experience. But I will still call for delivery.
Lawrence long time favorite but my first time here. Glad they didn't have this where I went to college because my freshman 15 would have been my freshman 50

Pizza Shuttle is super affordable and delicious. However their customer service is not up to par. One night I ordered a pizza and they told me 45 minutes to an hour. I was running an errand with a friend (it had been less than 30 minutes) and it noticed I had a missed call. When I got back to my dorm (5 minutes) I called back and the man asked me where I lived, which I had already told him was in the dorm. He said that they wouldn't let the pizza delivery man in, so I went and checked with the front desk and they told me no one had been there. Moral of the story they were very unhelpful and rude. Pizza Shuttle is great but they absolutely need to step to their customer service.
Excellent local hole in the wall. I would recommend the $5.00 walk-in special. It's plenty for one very hungry person, or two not-so-hungry people.

I lived in Manhattan, KS before moving to Lawrence. They have a pizza shuttle in Manhattan as well. But the one here is so much better to me for some reason lol. But anywho pizza is cheap and delicious. They really put quality before price in my opinion. I love pizza shuttle.

I came from Norman, OK and when I found out there was a pizza shuttle i was super excited. I was ordering pizza on the phone and a few things were different from where i came from (which was expected) but the employee became very annoyed very quickly for whatever reason. At the end, he asked if i was going to pay cash or check and i was caught off guard a little because the store i used took cards (which wasnt a problem, just didnt expect it). Anyway, I asked if they took cards just to make sure I heard him right and then he said no and hung up the phone.... Okay. Pizzahut it is then!
Pizza Shuttle is a classic Lawrence stop for pizza. Daily made dough and sauce lend to a great cheap pizza. $5 walk-in special for a 10 inch one top pizza and drink. My personal face is cream cheese and pepperoni. Yum!!!
For the past few months I have ordered Pizza Shuttle on average once a week and almost always get the same things. From time to time the toppings in my pizzas have been incorrect, but what really bothers me is how 1/4 times I order the same thing I get a different price. Sometimes the price for the same order varies by as much as $4.
I called tonight and after getting the total I mentioned that when I order this usually it is $15.50. Long story short, the guy on the phone insists that one pizza I ordered was essentially a specialty pizza so it would be more and that there is no way that I could get that order, ever, for $15.50. His tone was rude and he was talking to me like I am an idiot. As soon as I start talking to respond he hangs up on me.

Pizza shuttle is the best "college town" pizza you can get in Lawrence. Whatever pizza you get, I cannot recommend adding cream cheese highly enough, it really is the thing that makes pizza shuttle special! It is affordable, but requires cash or check, no cards are accepted.
I usually dont have an issue at all but I learned they unplug the phones and noone can contact them at all. My pizza is over due and all they can do is a credit to my account and that's it. This is redicoulous and the way I was treated wasnt ok and you should look into new management.
Walk in special is awesome, and the ceiling tiles are all painted.
I loved all the toppings on my pizza. The prices are awesome. The only thing I would say is mine was Overcooked the crust was too hard. But well worth it.
I've eaten alot of pizza in 41 years. I was trying to think what pizza tasted better than Pizza Shuttle. I could not think of one. I do know that I have never had a the taste of pizza surprise me in a Christmas morning kinda way. Lots of cheese and lots of toppings. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING!

Terrible communication and service I ordered a pizza at 8:45pm and didn t receive a call until 10:30pm and I had to cancel my order and didn t receive a deal or anything.

It's pizza shuttle. The walk in special is a killer deal. They take credit cards now. They moved the soda machine to the lobby so you get free refills. Get the cream cheese pizza you won't be disappointed.
I called about 15 minutes before the actual lobby of the restaurant closed which was more than enough time to have my pizza made. I had never been there before so I didn t know it closed at 1 but delivery ran until 3 am. The guy on the phone was very curt and just overall rude. He interrupted me when I was trying to place my order and said can you be here in 15 to 20 minutes when I was only 1 minute down the road. I got to the restaurant and went to grab drinks while we waited and he again had an attitude with me and didn t make me feel welcome. They had gotten my name wrong so when I was trying to figure out what name it could be he very rudely said well what did you order in a harsh tone then after I paid for my food he again gave me an attitude and said just so you know we close in 5 minutes and I said I m sorry I didn t know the internet had said 3 he then told me that was only for delivery but never once did he have a kind tone or even made me feel welcomed. I was very disappointed with the service and did not appreciate the way I was treated for a simple misunderstand of not knowing they closed the lobby so soon. This was not a good first impression and they definitely need to have someone who is actually good at customer service working the register and answering phones. Food was good though so as long as that kid isn t running the register I m sure it s a lovely place to eat.

Never had a bad experience here, great pizza, cool environment, great staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone on a budget but still wanting some amazing pizza. It's cheap but you cant tell, they dont skimp on toppings, it actually taste fresh not like canned toppings
I placed a walk-in order, waited 1 hour,asked where my order was ,staff I.Q. dropped below 55, Fat grungey guy walks up from back left far corner with pizza "A place perhaps my pizza was had addition topping added,I.e foreign material ,spit ,poop ,taint hairs." Been goin to this place since '86 or so ,never ever goin back,This happened over a year ago ,I still feel grossed out about it.The pie went to the garbage. "gross-sic-gross"

I USED to order pizza shuttle all the time despite their hit and miss customer service because the food is cheap. Not good, just cheap. One paricular time I was running late to pick up and one of the pizza makers decided to heckle, chide, and CALL ME NAMES loudly in front of everyone in the store for showing up late to pick up my pizza. I said nothing to him just stared in horror as he went on to make fun of even my shoes and call me retarded. The other workers just stood around and watched. One tried to hush him. I purchased the cold pizza anyway out of shame but regret this because in the past I've waited over 1.5hrs for a pizza delivery from this company and never devolved into such unprofessional, classless behavior. No customer desrves to be treated this horribly. I tried calling the manager but never got a call back. I will never come here again.
Edit 4/11/17: this incident was in 2012 but nothing has changed w/ PS to this day and their crappy, non-existant customer service. Further, by your response in which you essentially are calling me a liar, i can see that management is still awful.
Moved away from Lawrence, now I drive an hour and a half for my shuttle. Best pizza anywhere.

I can't say enough good things about Pizza Shuttle. I've been eating there since the late 80s, I practically lived on them for multiple spans of time, and to me their quality and pricing are unparalleled. I live in Washington now, I wish we had a Pizza Up here, I'd DESTROY a Farm Shuttle with insane quickness. Maybe two.

I order from Pizza Shuttle probably once a week. I absolutely love the alfredo pizza.. today I ordered an alfredo pizza with extra alfredo sauce..simple. I received a cheese pizza with red sauce and alfredo mixed. When I contacted customer service (I was halfway home) they offered for us to come in and exchange the pizza.. they then proceeded to tell me that this was the norm and I must request no pizza sauce if I want an alfredo cheese pizza.I asked for a refund but the dude said no sorry. These are first world issues but I feel that when you pay for something you should receive what you pay for. It would have been nice if they had tried to make it right.
