Piranha Killer Sushi is my #1 all time favorite sushi spot. I've been to the ones in Austin, three in Fort Worth and San Antonio. My favorite dishes are the Muscles with Saffron Rice and the Volcano Roll. Delicious food here. Too bad I don't get to Texas that much anymore.

The most horrible and disappointing experience. I have ordered the blue crab with extra crab and no cheese anytime I am in the area visiting my daughter and for my birthdays as a special treat. Today's experience was the worst ever. I called in the order and after tasting it, the cheese was not omitted as requested. The hostess rudely insisted that the dish had no cheese. As my favorite for years, I told her it did not look or taste the same. She reluctantly returned it to the kitchen. While waiting, I and others in the bar area saw a mouse going under the barstools. Guys at the bar saw the mouse and said that's why we only drink here for happy hour. I told the sushi chef and he came around the bar tracking the mouse so as not to alarm the people sitting on the barstools. The manager, Jose came out and insisted my order did not have cheese but he would remake it. I told him about the mouse and he was nonchalant, without concern and said that he knew the mice come in under the door. When he returned with the dish, I told him it looked nothing like I have ever had, it was fried dry crabmeat on top of rice. I was hungry, tired and frustrated, took it and it was horrible, unedible waste of crabmeat. Consistency, customer service and satisfaction not to mention board of health/rodent control issue with this restaurant business is disappointing and should be reported.

The sushi was very tasty and filling but it is pretty expensive. I spent $80 on two people including tip. The staff were decent, Not unpleasant but not super friendly. We had to wait around 5 minutes to get seated even though the restaurant was very empty. I saw most of the staff just standing around talking. Even with all of that, I would still recommend this place to my friends for the quality of the food.

You wanna know how to make this girl happy?! Mutha lovin SUSHI from Piranhas! Specifically the north Arlington location on green oaks and collins. The staff is great especially Ryan the best bartender there. I have actually been coming here for 10years and will not ever stop. I've eaten many things here but my favorite to eat is a combination plate of different items and I out them together myself.
Garlic himachi
Tricolor sashimi roll
Different sashimi pieces
All mixed up
And that delicious looking second plate of a crawfish roll is the hubs Heartbreaker roll with extra crawfish.
Now that is my favorite 0 carb splurge on the weekend!! Don't even think about it just go. Try the poppers too They also have great happy our prices on drinks and appetizers. If ya drink try the lychee martini or nigori saki unfiltered you'll thank me later

Best happy hour in Arlington. Food is usually pretty good but freshness is suspect... That said, I haven't gotten sick and I keep going. Bartenders are hit and miss and not always very attentive.

I have enjoyed going to this location for the past 13 years. If I'm not mistaking, this is the original. Piranha Killer Sushi is my absolute favorite sushi place in the DFW. Everything there is delicious! You can't go wrong taking a trip to Piranha.

It's located in a dilapidated looking strip mall and when I walked in the restaurant I was greeted with a sewage or rotten kind of smell. The sushi roll was decent but I didn't really enjoy the entire experience.

It was slightly off putting that the place was absolutely dead when I showed up, but I think that might just be due to the time I was there. I had an excellent meal here. Everyone was friendly. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I literally just asked the sushi chef to create something for me. He did not disappoint. I'm only in town for a few days, but I'll be back here before I leave.

Do not order food to go at all.

We had bad experiences in the past with delivery (over two hours before delivery got to us)
We decided we would try to just pick it up ourselves. We ordered at 620pm with an estimated ready time of 650-7pm. We arrived just before 7, and weren t greeted until 7:05pm.
We sat there for 40 minutes waiting for our food to be ready watching people get seated and fed, ready to leave before we got our order at 745pm... absolutely ridiculous.

The appetizers, soups,.and small plates have a happy hour all to their own... Call to get times... Amazing. Always friendly staff, and consistently fresh food. New dish of brisket soup is unbelievably Texas meets Japan!

Sushi wasn't great. The martinis are good. The sushi was kind of dry and really not a lot of flavor. I have the Vietnamese style roll and it was drowning in a liquid that just made it soggy and hard to eat. It didn't have a lot of flavor either. The Latin roll was the only good one out of three that tasted good and it wasn't wow. The pork dumplings though very good. Our service was good and the food came quick.

Chicken Teriyaki- two dry chicken breast, rice, old veggies and teriyaki on sauce (one tiny packet)- in the bag with chopsticks. Chopsticks can be used to cut dry chicken who would ve thought.

Two orders of sushi. One order is Spicy the other isn t. Yet they put it all in one box. Both orders were fire

They bagged three large containers in one bag and somehow jammed the sides/condiments on top. By the time we got home, everything was soaked in sauce.

I posted a picture of how my food arrived. Its was the worst. The taste wasn't bad but it unfortunately was not worth it at all. I ordered this through favor. It took forever to be picked up and then after waiting so long, my food was thrown into a to go container. Definitley not ordering from here again.

Delicious as always! Dine in experience was great! Paper plates and foam cups. Very clean. Waiters had on masks and gloves. Everything was disposable. Best place to go to especially Happy Hour!!

sad that we were craving sushi, and this was the closest place to us that serves sushi....surely they may have been short staffed or something but it took forever for waitress to bring menu, another twelve minutes after we closed and put down the menu to signal we were ready to order before we had to use our hawk-eyes to track down someone to take our order. Appetizer came out after our entrees, and it was horrible. They knew it was poor to bring the appetizer immediately before dessert, yet still brought it out without saying anything apologetic. This was a decent place for sushi, what happened?

Your standard sushi spot. I got the fresh veggie roll, which was good, and the Latino roll, also good. The veggie fresh roll is only veggies, no rice. But the Latino roll is your traditional roll. They did seem to put too much rice, and not enough of the other ingredients, compared to other restaurants. Came in before 9:30 last Sunday (they closed at 10pm) to order two rolls to-go. When my boyfriend and I walked in there were 3 guys at the sushi bar, who worked there, no one in the front. The guy inside the bar turned around and looked at us, and then turned back around, said something to the guy that was sitting at the bar and they started laughing. Pretty rude. After being overtly stand off-ish and making me want to run the other way, he said something like "Hello, you can take a seat anywhere". And I responded that we just wanted a to-go order, and he said someone would be right with us. A girl came up to the front to take our order. She was nice, but seemed like us being there over 30 minutes before they closed, (to order two rolls to-go) was irritating. I know how it is working in a restaurant. If we arrived expecting to be seated and waited on 30 minutes before closing time, I would be irritated. But since they don't close until 10pm and we ordered food to-go, I didn't think it was an issue. Unless they just don't like people coming in, which brings them business, which gives them a job that they're paid for. Quality service is always the first thing I look at when going to some place new, and if that isn't sufficient, I don't care what the food tastes like.
