I would never call myself a sushi expert but I know when something tastes good! I've had at least 8 different rolls and each one is better then the last! The dragon roll is probably my favorite. Everything is made to order from fresh ingredients.

I usually come here for a date night with the hubs and the HH can't be beat. The bartenders are SO personable and even the other patrons (regulars) are having a good time. If I didn't have kids that refuse this style of food, we'd be here weekly!

Two words: HAPPY HOUR. (Sundays 12-5)

I got 20 pieces of sushi for $8!

Overall the restaurant is efficient and clean but I m not a big fan of the entire staff. It s always awkward walking in because no one is waiting at the host stand & when they come over they don t greet you - they just stare (lol weird.)

Our server, while quiet, did his job well & was very polite.

4/5 Stars! Keep it up.

Great and quick service, we had edamame as our appetizer and it was amazing. I can t recommend the Panko crusted salmon enough! Great quality and customization. Can t beat it for the price!

Used a take out menu from home to place an order and got two of the piranha signature rolls. It said no where in the description that these rolls would be smothered in some sort of red hot sauce. What would have been nice rolls were ruined with ambitiously portioned overly aggressive hot sauce that I did not ask for. I wanted sushi, not spicy food. Please modify menu to read accurately or teach phone staff to clarify order for those who want sushi without spicy sauce.

Way overpriced for the quality/portion size. I got single orders of escolar, salmon, and albacore, and a vegetable roll for takeout. For $2.50 per sashimi order, you get a single piece of fish roughly the size of a zippo lighter. They gave me I think the summer vegetable roll instead of the regular that I ordered. It was decent, but rolled WAYYY too wide, the tomatoes were a whitish pink, and the carrot strings on the side tasted like soap. Zenna, a sushi restaurant popular further east in the metroplex, has better quality and bigger portions for cheaper (think $18, $19 for a chiracha vs. $28 here. $28 for a chiracha bowl?? Literally the highest price I've ever seen for that, gtfo). Some of the rolls looked really good (but I was in a sashimi mood), so I'm willing to try one of those, but if it's on the same level that I had tonight, I won't be back.

We made a reservation for a 10-15 people. We got a brand new waitress who was very sweet but had absolutely no idea whay she was doing. There were seperate checks which had all orders mixed in, water came in 4 seperate times over the course of an hour just to get everyone one glass. Orders were taken sporadically and appetizers and entrees arrived all seperate times. Appetizers for some were still arriving while others were finishing their entrees. Drinks took no less than 20 minutes to arrive even though we were basically the only people there. The disorganization made it not a good experience for a large party. The food was beautiful and the patio was a very nice atmosphere but the service was absolutely dreadful. 3 stars is generous.

It was edible so I didn't give them a one star. Overpriced for what you get. Ordered literally the easiest take out you can get from a sushi restaurant and it was super sup par. It took 25 mins for 2 miso soups and 2 California rolls. That wasn't a huge deal. The two miso soups couldn't of even filled one cup, and they were $3 a piece. Then the two California rolls were the most baby portioned rolls I've ever eaten. This is the second time I've had piranha sushi, and more than likely the last. I had high hopes but sadly they didn't deliver.

Me and my wife had a fantastic time, we sit at the sushi bar, had multiple conversations about what kind of roll we should eat, the chief was very knowable. He even created a roll for us that wasn't on the menu, it was absolutely fantastic! I couldnt be more happier with my experience there! We dont live to far and will return!

The susgi was ok. I cant say any of it blew me away. The chocolate martini on the other hand was outstanding. It might have been the best martini i ever had. Whomever made it is a genius. My GF had a lemon meringue one that was delicious as well. I will go again just to have drinks.

Had not been here in awhile but decided to stop by for some killer sushi. Speedy service and delicious food. The seaweed salad was a bigger portion than any I ve had elsewhere, sexy roll was delightful with the mango slices on top and my go-to favorite the spider roll was perfectly made. Ordered the blue crab fried rice and were happily surprised by the cheese broiled finish. And my Naughty Asian martini was good too. Glad we returned.

I went for lunch but have had better experiences at dinner. We ordered the mussels, but had to send them back because they were undercooked. They were delicious though. The sushi was good for the most part but overall since the restaurant expanded I felt the quality went down a bit but that is somewhat expected.

Recently went for dinner and the service was horrible. The waiter was sassy and rude. They ran out of sushi cups (how I don t know!) and instead of the waiter telling us, made us wait 45 minutes before serving us our drinks, food took forever to arrive, they overcharged $266 on my card (how I don t know), when I signed a different amount on the receipt. I m not sure I ll return.

I was probably a really difficult customer to deal with as I was confused on the make up of their rainbow roll being different than other Piranha Killer Sushi locations (after I had already ordered it and taken a few bites) Cory and Monica both talked to me and were very understanding the whole time. Their customer service is awesome!

My wife and I went this past Thursday for an early V-day dinner and we loved it!

Our server was excellent and he offered great recommendations to what he enjoyed and offered alternatives for my wife since she is pregnant and is limited on which sushi she can eat.

The garlic edamame was delicious and was immediately devoured and the sushi was good but I d like to try some others we didn t get to try because we were limited as mentioned before.

Definitely want to come back soon.

Always good sushi and friendly staff members. Happy hour martinis are great, and the heartbreaker roll is fantastic. The crayfish on it are always cooked to perfection.

Great for dates and group meetups.

So after reading the reviews my girlfriend and I decided to check this place out. We thought the restaurant looked very nice and the atmosphere was spot on. The service was decent the girl was just not a people person so there were a few awkward moments. When I asked what they had to drink the server suggested the mango tea($2.25), I got it and it tasted like watered down tea with a very slight hint of mango, I put 2 sweeteners in it and it was a little better. The presentation of the food was great, however it did not taste nearly as good as it looked. We were weary when we went in so we started with a california roll($5.50 8 pieces), it had small portions of ingredients and the avocado was mushy which happened to be the one ingredient they included a lot of. When we poured our soy sauce it had a dead fruit fly in it(they keep soy sauce in ceramic tea pot with a large spout, easy access for bugs). They have a bar open to the outside patio so bugs can fly in, which there was another fruit fly messing with us while we were eating. We decided to try one more thing so we tried the grilled chicken spring rolls($8.95 4 half spring rolls). The presentation was great and the first couple of bites were okay, I'm not sure wether we got tired of it or if the good ingredients were only on one side of the spring roll(because it was cut in half). Well the check was a whopping $18.04 and all we had was 2 waters(free), a mango tea, one california roll, and a spring roll appetizer. For the food quality the price was outrageous and by the time we were finished I could see why there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant.

Always our favorite. I can't top their Marry Me roll no matter how many different sushi restaurants and rolls I try... it's still the absolute best blend of flavorful goodness in every bite!

Last week was our first time in this excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the fine food and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Something wrong with the tables in the bar, the finish was sticky. Cleaned it 3 times and still sticky. Used my napkin as a placemat. Floor leading to the bathroom is so dirty my shoes stuck to the floor with each step. Sushi delicious. Bartender last night was obnoxious. Horrible attitude, unbelievably slow to non existent service. We shared a water with our martinis because he forgot our request for water 3 times. Food was delicious.

great menu, but the live music was incredibly way too loud and completely drowned out conversation with my dinner companions. the music itself was fine, but absolutely did NOT need to be amped at all for such a small space. won't go again if it's that ridiculously loud.

We waited 37 minutes for one roll of sushi. When we asked the waiter, Marci, if our food was coming up soon, she rolled her eyes and walked away. When we told her manager Ryan, who was also the bartender, he didn t show any empathy. You re really excited to eat, but had to cancel our food and leave. We didn t get checked on, to see if we need any drinks or anything else. It was like a high school running the restaurant and my suggestion is that they get the adult supervision or that business will fail.

I d been to Piranha years ago and remembered having a wonderful experience, but after visiting again with my husband last week, I was more than disappointed.
The service was very curt and unwelcoming. I don t think our server mentioned his name once. They were hosting live music that night which was just one lousy cover after another, and made it incredibly loud in the small space. And the sushi was a let down. There wasn t a lot of options compared to the majority of other sushi bars, and everything tasted fairly bland. Ginger and wasabi should be accents to your meal and not a necessity to bring out any flavor whatsoever.
I was bummed. I love sushi, and piranha is like half a mile away from our house, but I don t see us going back.
If you want excellent service, variety in sushi selection, good flavor, and a place where you can actually hear the people you re dining with, go somewhere else.

Best sushi in town, no questions asked! They make some of their own spirits and have some of the best drinks in town. The sushi chefs are incredible at what they do and they consistently produce the best sushi rolls that we have had in any town. Always on the top of my list and will continue to be until I find another spot that carries themselves as well as these guys do!

Good sushi and reasonable prices. Our waitress was attentive and polite. And, this place has a very peaceful atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. I have brought my family and friends here several times.

The food here is damn fantastic and the atmosphere was super chill. The only reason I am rating 3 stars today is because this was my first impression of piranha killer and it wasn't great since it took our waitress a very long time to get food and drinks out and did not check on us much. We were there for 2 hours not really expecting that kind of time. It was clearly not busy. We shall be back though and I will change rating if different!

I usually order for lunch almost everyday off their happy hour menu . There is one lady there was not only hung up on me but when I went to pick up my $5 meal gave her $20 and she didn't give me my change. She was very rude and unprofessional . The manager acted lost and confused and didn't seem to care why I was so upset. He gave me the meal and didn't charge me but the money wasn't the problem . It was the way I was treated which was NEVER addressed. Everyone complains about the experience they receive at this location . I wouldn't wasn't another penny there .

Super disappointed in my visit here. Their Google hours said they were open until 11pm, so we went at 9pm. Turns out they changed their hours to close at 10pm. The staff was very uninviting. It wasn't until we were mid-way through ordering that we even knew of the different hours. I told him that their Google hours weren't updated and we had no clue they were about to close, otherwise we would NOT have come. He told me "no, our Google hours are updated. It may be Google Maps that aren't." No, sir... it was your Google hours that Y'ALL can update! There were a ton of people coming in the door and were turned away with 45 mins til closing! The whole time, our waiter was pushy and it was very obvious he was trying to hurry up and get us out. Aside from that, the service in general was just subpar. We waited so long in between table check-ins and every time he came to check on us, he was just so rude! We truly felt like an annoyance to them to even be there! The sushi was just NOT good quality and our rolls were tiny and low quality. And all of our rolls were covered in wasabi mayo (yuck), which the menu did not say. For the price, I highly recommend going somewhere else like Blue Saki Sushi, where you will be welcomed and will enjoy great quality sushi. The martinis were good, so I'd only recommend going for drinks.
