Cypress Glen Retirement Community Reviews

We were very favorably impressed on our first visit to Cypress Glen over a year ago. We were planning another visit to gather details on residence options when COVID struck. During this forced isolation, we are very grateful to Elizabeth Jenkins in Marketing for her frequent contacts and updates that have kept us connected to CG. We were also impressed with the swift steps that CG staff implemented to keep all their residents safe during the pandemic. As COVID restrictions ease, we are planning a visit to discuss areas specific to our needs. I have no doubt about CG's ability to meet those needs.

We visited a close relative here and could not believe how beautiful this place is. It is like a 5 star cruise ship on dry ground. Very elegant. Our relative enjoys living here in her golden years.

After visiting and comparing many retirement communities, our mother moved into Cypress Glen in January during COVID. Our CG representative Jeny Martin has been a terrific resource for us as we navigated apartment options, payments, move-in, decor, and of course the pandemic. What a wonderful experience we and Mom have had!

Despite restrictions, people found ways to let her know they were glad she was there and would help her in any way they could. Such kindness has gone a long way in transitioning to a new place.

The amenities there, the decor, communication, food, attention to detail and to each other is as fine as we could ask. We heartily thank the residents and workers at CG for making our Mother feel at home.

Best retirement community I've personally seen in NC

The employees are very nice and the community itself seems to have everything. I go out there occasionally and never have problems interacting with staff. I do feel they need better signs showing where goes where. For example, if you were to walk in the D wing entrance, make your way to the front desk, I can never make it back to that same D entrance. It is like there is a hidden door somewhere. Otherwise, I the place is nice and I would retire my elders here.

It's very nice as a long-term care facility. There is a whole range of competence and care in the staff just like there is anyplace.

My mother has been a resident at Cypress Glen for several years. The facility itself is lovely and wonderfully maintained but what stands out most for me is the culture. Everyone on staff from top to bottom exemplifies kindness, patience, friendliness and an always cheerful can do spirit. This sets the tone for an exceptionally welcoming, caring and happy community. I am truly grateful for Cypress Glen.

You have an employee by the name of Olivia Steward who recently said something very racist via social media. The comment stated that black people should teach their kids to be like white people. That comment was very insensitive and very racist. Since I am a publicist and being that I have a lot of media contacts, I will be sharing this to local and national media outlets tomorrow morning. This is unacceptable and very problematic. Is this who you have working at your establishment?

Great upscale retirement community. Single patio homes, apartments, assisted living and nursing accommodations. Table service dining is available.

Cypress Glen is a great place to work and for retirement.

It is discussing to hear that you continue to employee Olivia Stewart who chooses to openly make racial comments on social media. We need to be careful who we allow to care for our elderly loved ones. She needs to be terminated immediately!
