Good food, good waitress, really good peanut butter pie!
Good food, good waitress, really good peanut butter pie!
Best Barbeque and really authentic country decor! Try mixing two sauces together for a unique taste! Don't forget the Brunswick stew for a side!!
Friendly, enthusiastic servers, unique country ambience, and tasty food!
I always eat here at least once when we are in the area. Never disappointed. Great service.
Lots of BBQ flavors in the south. Pink Pig lived up to it. One of the best BBQ in GA.
Wonderfully eclectic barbeque joint that has stood the test of time for over 40 years. The Brunswick stew is delicious, but so was everything we ordered. The ribs had a nice smoky flavor and fell off the bone. The pork was good as well but seemed more pulled than chopped as it said on the menu. The red vinegar sauce is a Georgia specialty and like my grandaddy used to make.
Time for dessert. The banana pudding and peanut butter pie was packed to go and thoroughly enjoyed a couple hours later. We browsed the t-shirts and found a nice soft pink one, after all it's the Pink Pig. I ventured around back to check out the smokehouse and cooker and came away impressed top to bottom with the whole operation. We're big fans!
Brunswick stew is exceptionial. Good food and great service!
Fun place! Good barbecue. Garlic toast was delicious on Sam's bbq special!
Great garlic salad dressing, their specialty. Barbeque good.
I have to say I am dissatisfied with this place. They advertise smoked BBQ but I to save my life couldn't taste it. Now growing up around BBQ I know how it is supposed to be done. I have cooked many 1000s of pounds with my father an award winning BBQ cooker. I have also judged many competitor events in my area. So I am making this judgement on my experience. The meat didn't have the bark that smokeed meat gets to it. Also there were no signs of smoke in the meat. I always order my meat anywhere without sauce on it. This allows me to taste the meats flavor and to see is the smoke in the meat, I didn't taste it there. I however, did notice in the sauce a hint of liquid smoke, a trick used by some to give the taste of fake smoke to the meat. The rest of the food was good. Amazing onion rings and impressive size of them. The staff was very friendly and take care of their customers. Oh and I walked around back and there was no smoke coming out of the smoker on a side note. To me that just shows I am possibly right on the lack to me of the smoke flavor.
Good bbq. I had brisket tacos and they were very good.
Great stop on the way to my wife's real estate listing for some authentic BBQ.
Atmosphere was ok! Wasnt impressed with our food at all. BBQ was very dry but service was great.
Fair price for the portions you get. Good food and service
Pretty good food, service was great. Priced just right
Omg the brisket nachos
I added grilled peppers to mine
Soooooooo gooooooood!
We ordered brisket and was surprised to see shredded beef on our plate. They said that was how they served it. It looked and tasted like pot roast and was very greasy. The service was great. The sides were ok.
Wonderful food, the garlic salad and Brunswick stew are our favorite's.
Friendly service. Super wonderful barbecue. Ask Joe for his special white BBQ sauce, that's in the refrigerator. Yum. This is a Blue Ridge treasure
Everything was good and the service was excellent. I had the pulled pork of course and we shared an Oink Onion. Good times!
Delicious ribs, BBQ pork sandwiches and fries. Everything that the whole family got was really good. Everybody enjoy their food. We had Ice cream on the way out and it was pretty good. Give a try.
I had the brisket and pulled pork combo meal and loved it. Others in my group had the fried chicken and they enjoyed it allot. The waitress was great too, we had some fun with her. We definitely will return next time we visit that area.
The pulled pork is the best around. Family owned. love the Oink Onion pedals. Customer service was awesome.
Meh, not impressed. After a long day of exploring, hiking, and waterfalls we decided to stop for a bite. My yam fries were very dried up, crusted, old looking and the lady said she would bring some extra sauce and did not. The BBQ was ok, the tea was good, and the brisket tacos were very good.
Great food and people. 3rd generation family restaurant.
The food was amazing. The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was family friendly and rustic. The BBQ was off the chain. I highly recommend the oink Onion. You will not be disappointed. This will definitely be on the destination again. Est 1967
Great food, friendly & attentive staff, and a historic cool atmosphere make this a must-stop location if you're a BBQ fan.
We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch and are so glad we did! It's a charming place...from the decor to the friendly staff. There's quite a lot to choose from on the menu, and what both my husband and I had was delicious! And the desserts...oh my goodness! The peanut butter pie and blackberry cobbler were divine. Everything was very clean, organized, and we couldn't have felt more welcome. Would love to visit again when we're in the area!
We took a trip out to blue ridge and decided to try the pink pig from the reviews online. Very cute little huddle and was wonderfully decorated inside. Host was rude and was to get us drinks we waited 10 min while watching her play around in the kitchen and ignore us. Finally a waiter name Tim came and helped us he was very sweet and super busy. He was the only one working while the other girls messed around in the back.
Food was not great. Brisket was chopped up and not fresh. I got taco brisket and it was greasy and messy. Bad bbq
As we were leaving we went to the front to check out and was ignored there as well. I stepped to the side and the lady asked if she could help me. I asked where we paid and she finally helped us and we went on our way.
Service is what made it not enjoyable.
Wonderful wonderful food and by far the friendliest staff anywhere
We were told how great it was.
Well what a disappointment. Food quality was poor. Some of it tasted like it was straight out of a can. Do not recommend.
Nothing special, any chain restaurant is just as good
Fantastic staff and clean restaurant. Unfortunately the food and especially sides were medicore. Brisket and ribs are solid.
This was our first time here. We will certainly be back. The servers and front staff were very friendly. The food was great with generous portions. The ribs were fantastic and the pulled pork was tender and full of flavor. The only complaint I would have is the 3.5% fee added on to credit card purchases.
BBQ was ok but the service was friendly. the screw and banana pudding was excellent
I loved this place because of the family style atmosphere and friendly folks. We stopped to eat with our family of 7 before heading to the blue ridge mountains. I enjoyed a brisket sandwich, everyone's food was delicious and served in a timely manner. There was a small gift shop with plenty of t-shirts and trinkets plus a sweet little walking path with inspirational painted rocks that my niece and nephew just loved. The path is up the stairs bring rocks to trade!
Don't miss this place. Very good food and very good service.
Delicious BBQ. Cute decor. Friendly service. Recommend the baked beans and sweet potato waffle fries!
Everything was awesome... Except the pork bbq. That just gets two or three stars, not sure what happened given the place has pig in its name and everything else was so good. Litterally the best sweet potatoe I have ever had, possibly the best in the world! I recommended it to a vegetarian friend and she loved it. Baked beans were awesome, and the banana pudding looked amazing. The staff was excellent, attentive and on the ball. And the vibe was very cool, my kind of place.
I'm just disappointed with the pull pork, I've routinely made better in a crock pot.
I cannot say enough good things about the Pink Pig! The food is always delicious, the service is always wonderful and the sweet tea is the best around.
Best BBQ for miles. Family run place and feels that way. Starve yourself for the day or do a 10 mile hike then come here. Skip the ice cream.
Friendly people, always ready to please, great BBQ and pie to die for!
BBQ done right, the ribs are out of this world and all the other food is so good. The sweet tea taste so good and refreshing. We love getting the desserts here too
Food was delicious. Great place to stop after tubing. God bless and TRUMP 2020.
Good service, but food is subpar. The pulled pork and brisket was very dry. Ribs were ok. Nothing spectacular. Given the portion sizes, the price is a little on the high side.
If you are visiting, save yourself the trip. Not worth it.
