Pink Pig BBQ & Shrimp Review

Pulled pork was very good. Better than the (enormous) chicken tenders.

Stopped in this place while roadtripping through Georgia. Solid brisket and best Brunswick Stew around. Cool ambience!

Pink Pig was a great find! My family and I were looking for somewhere to enjoy barbecue and were headed to a place about 16 miles away from Cherry Ridge. As we were driving we noticed a billboard for barbecue from The Pink Pig which was only about a mile away. The restaurant is quaint and cute, and the staff and service were amazing! If you like onions blossoms beside to try theirs!

The Pink Pig has down home country food. The staff is always pleasant!! They have great BBQ but I love the grilled chicken!! I also recommend the pulled pork quesadilla and their baked beans are the best in town!!!

Awesome BBQ. Friendly staff. I am a former employee of a BBQ restaurant in Philly, and just want to say that this place exceeded all expectations. If you are in the neighborhood, I would highly recommend this place due to its uniqueness and gas station layout. That being said, the attention should be placed on the food, and it kicks ass.

Very good barbecue at reasonable prices. Parking is a little complicated sometimes. Service is pretty good and food comes out quickly. Will be going at least once a month, as Blue Ridge has not one good BBQ place. Happy to drive to Cherry Log for food this good.

Good food but the wait service needs training on food allergies/ auto immune reactions. The manager or owner was more helpful but didn't make me feel confident when she pointed at different things on the menu that were gluten free. Thankfully everything went well I and did not get sick but I hope more persons are trained to address this in the future as it is a pleasant little restaurant.

I had brisket combo and girlfriend had chicken combo both were very good . Brisket and pork is shredded and dry but there sweet sauce is excellent additive to add moisture . Chicken has a nice smoke to it .
But over all wait staff is excellent 5 to them . And food is good if im in this area again i will stop back .

Friendly staff and good food but a little overpriced.

This was at one time the best BBQ around been going there for years.kids hamburger plate was burnt to a hockey puck.coffee was cold waitress took it to the back and put it in the microwave to over heat it.BBQ was cold ordered a corn bread muffin that was cold and hard as a brick fries were burnt and tasted like the oil hadn't been change in ages.on the good side one of the kids had grill cheese that was good and hot dog for the other was okay.and the manager was OK enough to only want 5 dollars but I payed 10 because theyou ate the hot dog and 2 grill cheese sandwiches.so I will think about going back but highly unlikely.

Sides were bland and the food is just over priced in my opinion. Ribs were tender though. Brisket and pulled pork was good.

Some of the best pulled pig I've had in North West Georgia, wonderful decor and the staff is friendly and the food, is a got to try good!

Wanted to try this while vacationing in Blue Ridge so we checked the schedule to see when they are open which is only certain days. Got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. It was hot and tasty . I ordered chicken plate which was good but not what I was expecting. It was chopped up chicken on a plate. The okra was okay. My husband got a combo platter with ribs which he really enjoyed !

Great vacation BBQ and the inside is relaxed and friendly. The sides were ok but the veggies tasted like they came from a can. I've worked in restaurants so I know it's the cost effective option, but it's the only reason I didn't do five stars.

Loes it! I got the Pulled Pork Plate with baked Potato and Cole Slaw. My Husaband got the Combination Plate with fries and Brunswick Stew. All of the food was amazing and the customer service was great! The food came out fast and we didn't have to wait long at all!

Brisket sandwich was very good! Fresh cut fries perfectly cooked. Best unsweet ice tea I've ever gotten in a restaurant. My husband had the sweet tea and it was very good but definitely "Southern Sweet".

Two hours it took in and out. Food was decent but the long wait took our appetite away. The mushrooms were creamy inside that hid the flavor of the mushroom.
The soft drinks were just that! Flat! So now I ve been twice, first and last.

We stopped by the Pink Pig after a day of hiking and we were extremely hungry for some NC bbq. We had great service from our waiter and the hostess. The food while okay, wasn't quite up to par as we had read wonderful reviews about the food. Kind of tasted as though it might have been reconstituted as opposed to day of cooking. The beans were good as was the fried okra but wish the BBQ had been a little better.

Loved the atmosphere. Nice place to go eat at a reasonable price.

We are locals and we try to eat here a couple times a month. Great service, great bbq and hamburger steak. I love the baked sweet potatoes. Owners are great as well!

Great pork and the best frie okra I've ever had. That's right, better than grandmas.

I had the beef brisket sandwich and the meat was ooverdone, dry and tough.will not eat here again.

It was a fun spot with a nice atmosphere but the BBQ was not amazing and border line good, I am glad I went once but I probably won't be back. I have had a lot of really good BBQ but I would not call this really good BBQ. The appetizers were really good though. I could go to 3.5 starts but not 4

the Fried Green tomatoes are awesome . the services are spot on. . everyone is awesome. I had the BBQ plate the BBQ is very tasty. and the homemade sauce is a good vinegar based. and awesome Mac n cheese.. the baked beans are smokey. . my husband said the ribs were juicy and falling off the bone. and must visit place for anyone in the area... we will be back if we are every near here.

Found this spot and I was not disappointed! The BBQ sandwich was fantastic and the service was great! I wish I was a local cause I'd be there twice a week!

We had all of the different meats and sides and the only thing that we found needs improvement is the Brunswick Stew.

Their delicious Brunswick Stew sure hit the spot for this rainy weather! Fun place to stop while you're here in the mountains. Lots of Pig souvenirs and t-shirts.

Excellent service. The smoked chicken salad sandwich, the Oink onion, the garden salad and the rib eye were delicious. We were here last year and both visits were equally satisfying.

Cold and dry meat. Kids did not care for Mac and cheese either. Special sauce was not all that special either.

Good food but poor internet reception. Fix one and you get 5 stars

Nice find. They had no problem with our group of 8. Pulled pork and brisket was good. I especially liked the spicy BBQ sauce. Good atmosphere. Would come back next time I m visiting the area.

Bar-B-Que Chicken appeared to have been sitting around for a while, not coming straight off the grill.

The pork is dry as is the beef to and the Brunswick stew is awful, The coleslaw and Stew came in little cups. I will never eat here again, 2 adults 1 child $48. This place is the pits.

Nice little place. Definitely worth the stop on your way to the Sasquatch Museum.

Sweet tea is good (maybe a little too sweet for some). The brisket is definitely better than the pork. The vinegar BBQ sauce is a bit strong. The sweet BBQ sauce is good! Okra, green beans, and macncheese are all good.

The Pink Pig is hands down the best barbecue around! The combo plate is the best of all for me. My wife is strung out on the chicken livers and sweet potato fries. One thing for sure, you can close your eyes and point at something on the menu and you wont be disappointed! The staff is far beyond friendly and efficient and the owners Sam and Jacob really care about their guest . Cant go wrong stopping in here! ENJOY!

Great food, dessert and service. Always a trip to stop in when we are in the Ellijay area.
