While I haven't hired Pike Properties or have any interaction with them; they've become a nuisance in our neighborhood (Cotswold). I'm all for making a profit, but they're going overboard. They buy houses, split the lot and jam oversized homes on a half lot.
I also have an issue with their response to Mary Frances Parker- they tried to discredit her claiming the review is fake; which it is not.
If you see Pike Properties signs popping up in your neighborhood, beware! They're gonna start splitting lots and jamming houses together.
These are the same guys who own FortuneBuilders... read those reviews and you'll get a better picture of who you're dealing with. They're all about turn n burn and flipping properties. From their actions, they care very little about the neighborhoods they infiltrate.
I recently bought a lot from Pike Properties in Cotswold area of Charlotte. We have had many hurdles associated with building from the ground up, and can honestly say that regardless of the issue, Anthony and Matt have not only honored their promises, but have gone way above and beyond in helping out. We needed major utilities moved, they honored that. We needed to fence around a common area, they paid for that. We had a surprise bill months after closing, they honored that too. They could have blown us off, as the sale was done, but they stepped up and took care of things. This is when I knew they had good intentions as people, not just developers.
We have formed a good working relationship with Pike Properties, and I definitely plan on working with them on my next new construction build. I know they are in the business of development, but honestly feel they have the very best intentions regarding our neighborhood, and genuinely care about the product they sell, and the sentiment of the people who reside in the neighborhood. I would highly reccomend Pike properties if you are looking for either a beautiful custom home, or a partnership with a great company.

I have not worked directly with Pike Properties but was very happy to see the old run down home next to mine on Bertonley Avenue replaced by beautiful construction (as well as several other lots on our street). However, over the past year I (along with several neighbors) have been very upset to see several nice lots in our neighborhood cut in half, trees removed and "twin" homes built up directly next to each other. It is definitely a growing trend in our area (by several different builders and developers) but I was hoping Pike wouldn't follow. I was especially sad to see the recent tear down of a very nice home on McAlway on a beautiful wooded lot (with a giant Pike Properties sign out front) that looks to now become another double "twin" construction (which will probably be sharing a driveway and be practically identical in design). This takes away from the diversity, charm and curb appeal that has made our neighborhood (and other ones like it - Myers Park, Elizabeth, Dilworth) so attractive. I realize this is a growing, changing community, but it sure would be nice if developers and builders considered what the people who live in these communities really want (and what works and looks best!) rather than what is quick, easy, and fills their pockets to the brim.
Update: I really appreciate that Pike Properties is ready and willing to listen to the Cotswold residents. I personally got a little swept up in everything with the recent effort by neighbors to organize a plan to address this and I regret posting anything negatively that could hurt a company that is only trying to run a business and help a community grow in a positive direction. I do believe that they have no ill intentions, and I am so glad to hear that they are willing to work together to find common ground. I wish them only success.
I can t say enough about the level of professionalism, experience and personal attention that Anthony/Matt of Pike and their staff provide. I would be more than happy to personally speak to anyone about why they are the go to team for either a new home or any Real Estate venture. I would buy their product today if I had the opportunity!

Pike Properties lie- Pike committed to the Cotswold Neighborhood that they would be a partner with the neighborhood and listen to the wishes of the neighbors. Instead they are helping to create the reckless infill that is causing school rezoning. Unlike the respected builders in our neighborhood they are tearing down older homes and squeezing in houses on 50ft lots that don't conform to zoning like the rest of our houses.
We have begged them to stop but in the name of greed they continue. Do not buy from these folks they are destroying our neighborhood and they abuse the rating process by trying to bury all the negative feedback.
These guys are awesome. The homes they build and renovate set the bar high for all other residential redevelopers in Charlotte. If you get a chance to work with Anthony and Matt you won't be disappointed. They go above and beyond your expectations and create beautiful homes!
I don't own a Pike property, unfortunately, but I did have a chance to work with them on a redevelopment project in my neighborhood. What was once an abandoned problematic house at Providence Road and Westbury became 3 very distinctive luxury homes for 3 families. I was impressed that, unlike another developer currently working in the neighborhood, they proactively sought input from our neighborhood during their zoning phase and shared their plans for feedback. They were responsive to street congestion and other temporary disruptions during the construction phase. In the end, our neighborhood gained three new families plus 3 unique luxury homes that have raised the profile of our neighborhood. I truly believe they work with integrity and to raise the value of their subject areas.
Could not find say anything bad about Pike. As a local Real Estate Agent in Charlotte, the entire process with my buyer has been unbelievably pleasant. From our initial meeting, to the contract process, and the current construction process has been way above expectation. Everyone at Pike is the true definition of a PRO. They respond quick, are courteous, and can help clarify any question you may have. Highly recommend!

Anthony and Pike Co. has been a dream to work with. Especially Anthony. They not only met my price they went above. So helpful in finding the home of our dreams for retirement. Very patient and understanding of the physical and emotional needs of my family. In the end, I can't understand why everyone on my street not selling to them. Please stop sub-dividing our lots in Cotswold! We are neighborhood strong and all most have been here for 15 years. We are known for our lots sizes and beautiful homes. Why not build big beautiful homes on great lot sizes and not destroy our charm?
Where do I even begin in praising Pike?!! My wife and I purchased a home from Pike in 2020. We were moving from Durham, NC, and being a real estate nerd I spent months perusing postings starting a year before our anticipated move. We found that most homes in our target location (Myers Park, Foxcroft, Cotswold area) were old, overpriced, needed a lot of work, and didn't fit our aesthetic. We came across a home in Cotswold in summer 2019 that was new construction and was simply the most beautiful home we'd ever seen. We drove down to Charlotte to check it out, only to realize it was even better in person... then it sold the next day! It turns out this was Pike's 2019 Showcase Home. Our realtor reached out to Pike to see if they had anything in the pipeline that would meet our needs.
We worked with Anthony over FaceTime for a few weeks, and identified a house they were planning to build (their 2020 Showcase Home) that met our size and location needs. At the time we had a floor plan and computer renditions of the exterior to go by. We looked through Pike's abundant social media and website photos and videos, and knew that we had to have a Pike home. Their "modern rustic" look, attention to details and overall style were the perfect fit for us. Based on growing interest in the 2020 unbuilt Showcase Home, we put an offer on the house before there was even a hole in the ground on the lot!
Over the ensuing year, Anthony and Matt were constantly in touch with us. They sent us video / photo updates every few weeks, leading to extreme excitement on our end! They were incredibly accommodating of all logistics (inspections, questions we had, etc.) They even asked a lot about us and our family, and included super cool custom features in the home to match our family (for example, a beautiful built in walnut wine storage solution). They were transparent, great communicators, fun to work with, and made for the easiest home purchase experience we've ever had.
What about the house itself? It's simply unbelievable. Beyond being aesthetically out of this world, the house is so well designed. Everything is thought out in terms of function and livability. Everything from the perfect storage in the kitchen, to the built in dog bowls with a pot filler right next to the back door, to the layout of the second floor (a.k.a the kid's floor) makes it a joy to live in.
Many days, we are sitting in the house thinking "how in the world did we get so lucky to live in this house?" We have many friends with more expensive homes throughout Charlotte, and can say confidently they all have house envy of us, not the other way around!
Even after the purchase of the home, any small issues we've had Matt and Anthony have been immediately responsive. They don't forget about you after closing!! In fact, we'd like to think that Matt and Anthony are now long term friends, and we love sharing our family's stories in this home with them.
In summary, if you are looking for a new home in Charlotte, it simply doesn't get better than Pike. They build a home so gorgeous it might just end up in a magazine (ours did), at very competitive pricing, with customer service that simply can't be matched by larger building companies.

Truly down to earth guys that listen to your wants and needs. Matt and Anthony have amazing floor plans with the most attention to detail. Their project manager Tyler makes building a house fast and fun. These guys are always on it, never missing the smallest detail and still staying on schedule. Working with Pike has been a pleasure.
Pike Properties has some very tasteful homes they have built in Cotswold. However, recently they have begun to tear down a single home and subdivide the lot, building two homes in its place. This is distasteful and many fear will overcrowd our neighborhood and push us out of the Myers Park high school district. Particularly on our street, Bertonley Ave., they have clearly cut corners by subdividing a lot and building two, in which the corner home has no driveway and is severely close to the road. Several people have come close to wrecking when turning this corner, and it has become unsafe for bikers and walkers, as well. Our street has many residents that have lived here over thirty years and almost all of us more than ten. Many of the owners are upset with all the changes and want Pike to take into account the existing character of the neighborhood.
This Guys are the reference for what a quality product looks like! Their homes definetly become ones dream home
There are many builders that can get things done. There are few that can produce quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Anthony and the team at Pike, set a high bar. They are thoughtful and diligent to ensure clients are thrilled with their design and build process. In Charlotte it is so wonderful when Pike properties has a new build as they are truly uncommon in a very common sea of new construction.
Very well informed in the Charlotte market! The quality of all their projects is incredible. Attention to detail in all aspects. They really know their "stuff"!
My wife and I recently decided it was time to sell our home and find a new one. We chose to work with Pike Realty based on the recommendation of close friends who had a good experience them. It was a great decision for us as well. Anthony had a great marketing plan right from the start and our home sold very quickly. He did a great job negotiating for us as well, first as sellers and then as buyers. Most importantly though, we felt like we had a real partner throughout the whole process someone who cared about finding the right home for our family as much as we did. Exceptional builders, wonderful designs, thorough customer service. I've had many custom homes built in the past and have a very good idea of what's involved in the process. Though Pike Properties (Matt, Anthony, and Tyler) do not build "custom homes", the quality and design are better than custom because they've thought everything through for the homeowner. The result is phenomenal. Everyone who sees our Pike-built home falls in love with it.
We moved from the DC-area for our work in 2017, and didn't have time to go back and forth to finalize the build and details of our new home. The Pike Properties team took care of every detail so when it was time to move in, we just got our keys and walked in to our perfect home.
