I had the primavera pizza without zucchini. It was excellent. I think the tomatoes could be chopped a little smaller and the crust was cooked a little longer than it needed to be, but it hardly affected the taste or texture I was hoping for. Also, the pizzas are on the larger size, I split my pizza with a friend and three pieces left me satisfied.

I will definitely be back.

When I'm looking for quick Italian food, this is the spot that I frequent. You must get the chicken farm entree! The chicken is so tender. The meat lasagna and sweet tomato penne are pretty good. The meat lasagna is sweet, but not overly sweet. The sweet tomato cream penne is good for someone who is looking for a pasta dish with a creamy sauce. The restaurant doesn't have an Alfredo chicken dish, so this is what I normally order. The antipasto salad is also a good choice with chopped up Italian meats, olives and banana peppers (yum!).

The service is pretty decent. I have never had any major issues there.

The restaurant has a rewards system that I would recommend if you frequent this spot. You have to download their App, which is called Cardagin. After accruing points, you can get rewards such as $5 off. When you pay for your meal, mention that you have the app. You will have to write your phone number down on your receipt so they can record your points.

For this season, they have a gift certificate promotion. If you buy a $50 gift certificate then you get an extra $10 off your next meal. For those that frequent the restaurant, it might not be a bad idea to buy these for yourself. Just saying...

We had a pretty disappointing dinner here. The service was not the problem at all, this review is entirely about the food.

The calamari was bland and mushy. Obviously from a freezer bag and dumped into the fryer. It was served with both marinara and cocktail sauce, neither sauce was really anything to write home about. The marinara was especially boring, the cocktail sauce was probably a decent jar.

The main course was a wood fired pizza. It is infact a real wood fired oven which you can see when you walk in. (Nice!) But it was the least flavorful wood fired pizza I've ever tasted. Normally my favorite style of pizza, but this one was boring and phoned in. It tasted like a floppy delivery pizza with a wood fired crust.

I guess maybe I was expecting too much given the price point. The whole meal was inexpensive, but it also tasted cheap.

Their gooey cookie isn't much of a cookie. Go to the grocery store at the other end of the plaza for a better chocolate chip cookie.

The menu was a bit dense and difficult to read, but all the food was excellent. We primarily tried the meat pizzas, but I am sure the other options are just as good. The staff were very friendly and service was very fast.

I have eaten at pie-tanza three or four times. The pizza is good but very thin. I wish they were a little more generous with the toppings. They have several local beers available. The staff has always been friendly.

Great menu, great food with quality ingredients. Very gracious and friendly service, always warm and welcoming, courteous, and very fast. And so affordable. No wonder it's always packed with families of all ages. A great experience every time.

Staff was friendly and the food was delicious with good sized portions! I was disappointed that their signature Sangria is only 6oz when I've had double that much for the same price. The professionalism of the staff made me forget that, hence 5 stars.

The food continues to be good here, apparently with their full menu despite the pandemic conditions. We had a goat cheese and grape salad and the fettuccine asiago, and both that our expectations. There are plenty of plastic partitions between tables, so we certainly felt quite safe for dinner.

I ve used Pie-Tanza for catering several times and it has been awesome. Food quality is fantastic, ordering is easy, and service has been great. They have some of the best meatballs I ve ever had outside of my own and I litterally crave them. Anytime we cater, I always break off a bunch of meatballs for myself to eat the next day. The pizza is really good and all of the pastas I have had have been great. I highly recommend.

The staff are all really friendly. This is a great place to bring your family, with friends, or just by yourself for a quick meal. I've been here so often that I've had almost everything on the menu at least once.

Appetizers: I love the goat cheese rounds, fried mozzarella, and the garlic bread.

Pizzas/Calzones: the goat cheese and arugula is my go-to

Pastas: the sweet tomato penne is easily my favorite item on the menu.

Desserts: the tiramisu is one of the best in the area.

I love this place! I usually grab lunch here because I work nearby and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy. Everything I've had here has been delicious. Great pizza, great sandwiches, and awesome salads. And it's extremely cheap compared to anything else in North Arlington. It's also pretty much the only place open between 2:30 and 5 in the Lee Harrison shopping center. Definitely worth a visit!

One of my favorite spots for a sit-down meal with friends. Good Italian food with generous portions. I love the sandwich and salad combos as well as the pasta and pizza choices! Casual environment with mood lighting that can make it slightly difficult for older eyes to read the menu, but adds to the ambiance of the place. Quick take out and delicious lunch specials are super convenient!

I've visited Pie-Tanza a few times. I normally get a simple pizza, but their appetizers and salads are great as well. (I haven t tried any of the entrees, but they all looked very good). They normally have a reasonable selection of wines and a few craft beers (only $5 corking fee if you bring your own wine).

It s a very kid-friendly casual family restaurant so feel safe bringing your young ones here for dinner out, the crowd is easy-going and jovial. The price point is very good for this part of Arlington. The parking is a bit crowded due to the strip mall it s located in, but I ve never been unable to find a spot. It meets all expectations for a nice family restaurant!

Excellent salads. I got the Cobb Salad and since they couldn't do romaine lettuce with the out break then they addressed it and asked if I was okay with mixed greens. They have excellent pasta and sandwiches dishes as well.

Pie Tanza is so good that I wish there was a 6th star. Most family restaurants are bleh. You go there for the kids. Pie Tanza is scratch kitchen and wood fired pizza. My wife and I loved before kids but love more with kids. The food is great but they also have dough, coloring for the kids and family friendly prices. They customize to the standards of the extremely picky kids. The wait staff is please and respectful. Like I said I wish there was a 6th star.

I ve been here a few times, the food and service is always good. This is a popular place for families, it seems most times I m here there s always a lot of small children. Likely because the menu has lots of inexpensive options that they enjoy. We always grab a half order of their fries as an appetizer, best in town. I m not sure if you can beat this place when it comes to food quality and cost.

The sausage onion and green pepper pizza is fantastic. I have never been disappointed and I've ordered it over 10 times. Pasta dishes are not as great to me but still passable. Can be busy at dinner time and parking often a hassle.

One of the best family friendly restaurants around, not to mention their food and expert catering services. If you need food for your party or wedding, or are just looking for an excellent dinner out, this is your spot. Great pizza, great staff, good prices; what more do you want?

We sat down at 5:30, ordered 2 salads and 2 kids pizzas. By 6:15 all 3 tables around us were seated after us and already had their food. Waiter kept saying "just 5 minutes...". By 6:30 after not getting food nor a visit from manager, we left.

Love their pizza margherita with fresh basil and the mini cannolis for desert. The picture is actually of the spinach and artichoke pizza. We decided to try something new this time.

They have recently opened up indoor seating again so it is a good place to go for a date as the weather gets colder.

I have some food allergy issues so I really appreciated Allison's efforts to check on what I could eat safely. Great service.

Always fantastic food. Salads are fresh and innovative. The calamari fried to perfection with a zesty marinara. The pizza is thin and crispy and always perfectly cooked. My kids love the brownie sundae. It is a relaxed family run place with friendly staff and a nice feel.

Family pizza restaurant at Lee Harrison Center. This place is usually teeming with kids, strollers, and families. It's great if that's what you're looking for... Not so great if you want to hear your table talk.

The pizza is pretty good, service is excellent, and the location is nice bc you can grab dessert or groceries in the same shopping center.

Their pasta dishes are great (haven't tried all though), sandwiches tasty and their pizza is too. Not happy with their salads. Had the Chicken Caesar twice...very disappointing & switched this time to the Chicken and Walnut. Again disappointing. Presentation is everything even with a carry-out....lettuce, lots of lettuce thrown in a clear container sprinkled with cheese, some raisins and some chicken. I myself like to see lettuce at the bottom with all the wonderful topping on top in plain site. You should definitely try them for all their other items.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Awesome for kids. If two adults want a satisfying meal that won t overfill, split one pizza and one salad. They will divide salad orders on two plates. That s the winning combination. The off-menu chicken and walnut salad is spectacular.

Been here many times. Go to family dining Italian restaurant in that it has a lot of children. As for the food, the wood fired pizza crust is great, the toppings are pretty good too. Beer is about average for the area, but there is no happy hour. Salads have been pretty good if your into that.

To be honest I used to go to the one in falls Church city when I worked next door at Starbucks. Then I moved and found out you all closed that location , I actually cried a bit (I as also pregnant with serious craving for the Italian sausage pasta) . Now I am pregnant again and just found out your Arlington location is still open!!!!!! Tears of joy joy joy . That's my destination today with the family! Ed the owner I remember being such a great guy and always so kind to the Starbucks staff and anyone he came in contact with. So glad this location is still alive and kicking!
