They have the worst customer service by far. This is not due to one bad experience. I work in town and dread having to go to this store because of the lack of pride their staff has in their jobs. It shows in the way they treat their customers. Very unprofessional and unhelpful.

I had the worst experience with rude management who goes by the name Collet not even willing to assist telling me they are not at fault. They did not even check all the Facts!!
I got a voucher and went to pick n pay on the 09/10/2020 and purchased for an amount of R244.97. The teller told me the voucher was not successful and I had to pay with my bank card.
On 12/10/2020 I went back to buy again with the voucher all to find out there is a balance of R5. 03 meaning they double charged me.
Since I went there around 4:45pm they told me to get back today and I understood its a technical error.
The R5. 03 was also taken with my voucher currently at R0 balance
I was very patient and happy that they will try and resolve this the following day
Went back today and was referred to the manager who said to me its not their fault the voucher went off as the system was offline. I should consult webtickets to reverse the voucher. Funny enough it was not offline as I purchased from the same teller.
What I need urgently is the amount taken from my bank account urgently!!!!!!
The shop is conveniently located in the city centre, but I felt the store layout is a bit cramped. The "fresh" produce did not look very fresh and I sticked to a few non perishable essentials. The parking in the arcade is very expensive. In future I will unfortunately rather drive a bit further to buy my groceries.
This is the biggest dump on the face of the earth. This place stinks! Your clothes pong to high heaven when you walk out. Badly stocked. Horrible management. A disgrace to the PnP brand. Yuck!

Though everything is not fairly priced and not all items not available, its stil convenient. Also kitchen needs better hygienic care and PnP needs to close up open food displayed hrough glass display.
this store is always busy and it does not help that is a small store and can feel claustrophobic...

I have vowed to never visit this Pick n Pay for as long as I can, I will avoid it like the plague. The staff is extremely rude and the store is filthy, this store does not even deserve a star.
This is a busy PnP store. They have most of what you need on a daily basis. Staff are helpful. Only let down is the fresh fruit and veg section......limited variety and quality is often poor. They need to improve their buying in this area.
I suggest purchasing tourist attraction tickets here- such as table mountain cable car- cheaper than at TB or TB online directly. You can also get intercity airfares pretty reasonably here. Cash and card accepted.

Why doesn't this Pick n Pay have sanitary wipes for the baskets and trollies? I work I'm the building and go there after work to get supper ingredients or lunch and this is a big concern for me.
I get asked everday if I want to buy food on credit and it's annoying, when I say no thanks,they make sure to make me know how disappointed they are.. I almost had an argument with one guy.. who sighed so loud when I said no, he told me everyone says no..

Pick n Pay Strand Street is the most popular retail store in the area...tourists love coming here as it have everything they need. This store close at 19.00 weekdays.
Too tight, scarce best before date of the goods. But almost everything available and extremely early cashier. Will it go back anytime

Cashier was rude and didn't want to give me a bag. I proceeded to pick up my purchase and asked for a bag she then crunched the bag with anger on her face and threw it on the counter and sucked her teeth.
