Right in the centre of Cape Town - in Picbel Centre - access from either Strand St or Long Street. This Pick 'n Pay certainly becomes ur best friend. Caters to ALL needs & whims of just about anyone. & FRESH produce at all times.

A bit smaller than other branches, but if you're not looking to do all your monthly groceries at a go then it should be fine. The specials are also in line with the bigger branches so that's a plus.

The shopping baskets are always dirty and they do not have wipes or hand sanitizer at the door. The cashiers are also not very friendly, gossiping about Managers while helping you, using foul language and laughing with each other whilst helping you. This shop does however have very good specials and are somewhat cheaper. I don't know why prices differ from shop to shop but this one throws out great value and y ou can really see the savings. If they were to work on their cleanliness and staff, they'd be much better.

The shop is smaller than most pick n pay stores but you can still find most of what you need. The service is ok...just need to change the attitude of the ladies at the hot foods section.

It is quite confusing and it can get frustrating when you are trying to look for simple basics in the store because it's not your conventional Pick n Pay store layout. It gets very busy and service can be slow at times, if you are in a rush be aware that you might be stuck in foot traffic.

Convenient location but queues for the checkout are long and slow moving, the stock isn't well maintained and it is definitely a more restricted store in terms of range. This is because the floor space of this store is smaller than other Pick n Pay stores I've been to. Can't recommend but if you're in the area and in need of basics, this place will do.

Handy smallish supermarket within the "Parkade Mall" shopping arcade to buy food and other supplies especially for me being a visitor to Cape Town using self catering apartment on Greenmarket Square, which is only 200 metres away towards mountain. Main entry is at 58 Strand Street opposite where Burg Street meets Strand Street. Gets quite crowded around 4-5 pm and as the early closing time around 6-7pm approaches. Has a reasonably good range of products including "fresh" fruit and vegetables plus a meat and deli section. Staff are helpful if you're having trouble locating particular items. Would have given it 4 stars if there was more room in the aisles as it get quite cramped during those busy times in afternoon evening as closing approaches.

Work in Town so i buy my odds and ends on daily basis. Friendly fast and efficient staff. However the oil of the ring doughnuts leave a smell on my cloths. The smell that lingers in the air. PnP to invest in an extractor fan.

Don't go here. There are many other outlets to use, that is if you need it from PicknPay at all. Rather use SPAR or Checkers. A one star is just for the spiritual growth process that you would have from using Strand Street PicknPay.
It is one of the dirtiest outlets and there staff, like Lameez just come in today to chat with her friends. There staff is just as unorganized as the outline itself.
