Very bad place....please stay away, We have done several tandem skydives in the Phoenix area and would never jump here again. Bad place, bad crew, bad equipment. A young lady was killed here last week, and the owner said it was wind. Don't trust them.
I bought 2 jumps for XMas gifts for my wife and son. From the phone call, to getting them in the truck for the ride home...everything was first rate. The staff are really incredibly good people. Everyone at this place is happy, and they spread the joy

Sooooo everyone tells you that you can t describe that feeling you get when you go skydiving for the first time, and I finally understand what they mean. It was an indescribable rush of adrenaline! Everyone working was so friendly and funny which eased any nerves had. It was a fun experience and I recommend being the very first jump of the day. They gave us a 2-4 hour window, but my friend and I were done with everything in less than an hour and a half since we had a 7am reservation. Also.... get the hand-cam if it is your first time. It s so cool to look back on it and relive the experience. Overall everyone was great; especially Wilmar and Riley, who were our free falling buddies. They made it a wonderful experience and definitely will be back again! Thank you (:

The staff and skydive instructors are fantastic. We both did a tandem skydive and we both loved it and thought it to be fantastic and exciting.
We both highly recommend Skydive Phoenix for the excellent staff and instructors and the awesome experience. They are well organized.
You can purchase pictures and a video of your jump for an additional price. It's well worth getting one of those package deals. It's an experience that will last a lifetime.

I went for my 19th birthday with a few of my friends. The entire staff was amazing, so fun but definitely professionals. It s on private s property surrounded by mountains, so the view is absolutely beautiful. I went as a tandum jumper since it was my first time, and jumped with Jason, and Wayne came with as the videographer. Both were amazing and so fun to be around. My friend jumped with Joel and he was also such a fun guy. Everyone there was so friendly and really kept everything at ease, and gave clear safety instructions as well. 10/10 recommended!

These guys know what they are doing! They go the extra mile in a friendly, relaxed, welcoming way. Safety first, they take the time to educate you, while ensuring FUN is the goal. The entire staff were amazing. Specifically, Joel Theriot and Hunter L. Amundson. Joel made sure my first jump was a true bucket list experience and Hunter L. captured it for posterity. It's back on the bucket list for round 2.

Fabulous experience! The staff were very knowledgeable and they walked us through the entire process..repeatedly because you do forget. They were so friendly and efficient at their tasks while keeping us entertained to keep our anxiety at bay. I was definitely nervous but never had any doubts about the skill level of the folks that were taking us on this incredible journey. I will be back!

Friendly knowledgeable staff, great venue, and awesome experience. Private airstrip in rural area makes this a unique venue for your experience. High winds posed a potential cancellation but the team met, had a meeting, and made adjustments to keep everything going. Joel rocked and gave us a perfect landing! If you want to do a tandem, this is the place to go, the feeling is laid back but the staff is very professional and safe. I did 3 tandems here over several years. In October I enrolled in the ASP program, and I have progressed to AFF 4. It is AWESOME.

My first time sky diving with my best friend that was in town. The experience itself was fantastic and the instructors were funny and personable. But they overbooked which left us waiting an entire day then they asked us to return the next day. Not professional.

My husband and I jumped with these guys on 10/27. Our instructors, Jason & Max were absolutely amazing. They made the experience so fun and exciting. My son paid for the video and photos and after a month he received the video but it took several calls to them to send it and now it has been three months and still not photos!!!
John will tell you the "photos are on the way" or "we have been having problems with the Post Office" and then he will tell you that he will FedEx them to you and he never does.
STAY AWAY from this place!!!!
So it has been since March 9 when my son paid of these photos. I have spoke with John five times! the first three times John assured me that "the photos have been sent via US Mail" . Then the last two times John said "I will use FedEx this time and overnight them to you" It is now June 14, exactly 99 days since the photos were paid for and my son still does not have his photos...form the US Mail OR FedEx.
Now after repeated calls and left massages John, or anyone else from this place will return my phone call or return my sons money.
So what is the excuse now?!?!?!

Today was my first jump and it was amazing!! Jason was my tandem instructor and hand-cam guy he is awesome !! Collin was my photographer for the outside views which were outstanding! I purchased the ultimate package for photos and videos and am so glad I did as you only get one fist jump. BEST DAY EVER!! All the instructors and photo people as well as the entire group of employees were great. Such a positive group that runs Skydive Phoenix it just made the experience even better than I could have imagined. If you haven t tried Skydiving yet I would absolutely recommend it with Skydive Phoenix you will be thrilled with your experience!! Thank you all so much!!

Made my first skydive on 3/14/19 and it was an awesome experience. Dustin (my tandem master) and Alex (my videographer) did an excellent job walking me through my jump and capturing it as well. Real pros all the way around and would be more than happy to join them again!

After a horrific experience at skydive Arizona, I was pretty reluctant to go to any other drop zone, having walked out on my skydive before it even began but Skydive Phoenix made my entire skydiving experience incredible from the beginning! Skydive Phoenix completely changed my mind about the sport. I initially went there as a graduation gift and had the most incredible time with Chris. He made me feel safe, secure and so comfortable. I went a second time to take a friend for her birthday and that was even better. We both got the outside video and it was the best decision we could have ever made. We had cameras on us the whole time, capturing our ENTIRE experience, not just the jump. Once again, I went with Chris and it was nothing short of incredible. I have now returned to learn how to become a solo skydiver and it has been wonderful. The entire team takes time to give me advice, pointers and cheer me on. Chris is also my AFF instructor, and totally awesome! He is there every step of the way and makes sure that I am comfortable and ready to go! Another instructor who has been really helpful is Jason! He is always in an incredibly positive mood, always cheering me and other students on, being tremendously helpful and ALWAYS smiling! I would HIGHLY recommend Skydive Phoenix for any tandem experience, or to become a licensed skydiver! Definitely request Chris as your tandem instructor, you WILL NOT be disappointed!
My friend, Kelly, and I went skydiving last week and we had an awesome experience. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional. Jay was my tandem partner and he explained everything thoroughly and did numerous safety checks. He did a good job putting me at ease (my first time and was a little nervous). Okay so first of all the staff is SO FRIENDLY and super funny! They were making jokes and making us feel very comfortable almost like we had all been friends for a long time, which is important considering we re going to be strapped right into the front of them. They also offer video services for additional cost and the video guys are great, not to mention one of the video guys is SUPER cute which is a plus overall the experience was GREAT.

Decided to finally do my first tandem jump for my birthday (3/7) and SkyDive Phoenix delivered an unforgettable experience! Hayley and Cassandra were extremely helpful in planning my jump (I came in from out of town). My instructor was Joel who was beyond awesome!!!! The pics/videos are amazing!!! The entire staff is awesome! I could go on and on. When I m back in Phoenix, I will definitely be doing another jump at Skydive Phoenix.
Whether you except this statement or not, is your choice! Opinions are formed and judgements are made in accordance with our own experiences and preferences". My decision of location was made on a simple phone call. That phone call generated an opinion, it set Skydive Phoenix apart from the others, giving the place a personal touch. Never in my life, have I ever meet so many down to earth awesome people in one place. On top, Skydive Phoenix just has a nice vibe...all staff ranging from instructors over packers to manifestors is very open minded, competent and enthusiastic about skydiving. The place is nice, the weather very stable, and being in Arizona is a definite plus since it gives you the option to relax in the sun between jumps.
My recommendation is: GO THERE, learn, jump, enjoy....you won't regret!

Upon arriving to the jump sight you immediately notice how small it is. Literally a trailer with a port-o-potty outside. The jumpsuits smelled absolutely awful and the plane was in bad shape. The movie they show as an example of what your movie will look like is far better, because they used to have someone else jump out and film you. Our video was shot from the guy strapped to my back, so really how well could he capture the jump from my point of view. They then told us we would receive our videos within two weeks. I got my video in two weeks, but my girlfriends never showed up. The video I received was mediocre at best and it said someone else's name on it. My girlfriends video still has not arrived. (we Jumped 6/26). I called them at least 10 times asking about it, and almost everyone I talked to was either rude or could not help me with the issue. I was promised a refund by an employee if they didn't have it out to me by the 10th of August. Still hearing nothing from them, I called yet again to ask about it. The owner refused a refund and said we will make it today and send it tomorrow. (8/14)
I am a 20 year old student and have honestly never written a review before, but I felt obligated to. I would hate for someone else's first skydive experience be as poor as mine was. Spend the extra couple bucks and go to Eloy.

I m 53 and skydiving has been on my bucket list for awhile. I m live in Grand Forks North Dakota and I asked my daughter, who lives in Phoenix, to research skydiving businesses and to find the best one. I m a retired military veteran, a certified Safety Inspector and have taught Operational Risk Management courses. That being said, subconsciously I think, I was looking for any excuse to not go thru with the jump. Upon arrival at Skydive Phoenix, I immediately began looking for signs of anything out of place or unsafe and found everything to be in order. I was simply amazed at their level of attention to detail in every aspect of the process: check, double check, triple check.... Of course I jumped tandem, and Dustin White was my Jumpmaster. This guy is a Pro, in every sense of the word. I asked Dustin every possible question about equipment, safety, and procedures that I could think of. He answered everything I could throw at him with clear, detailed, concise answers. He is above reproach. Dustin is a true master of his craft. He put me at ease quickly and made my first jump extremely satisfying. I would like to personally thank all the employees at Skydive Phoenix for their fantastic customer service, one of the best experiences of my life, and I would not think of using any other company. If it s your first jump, You definitely want Dustin as your Jumpmaster!

Do not sky dive here. This place is completely unorganized and totally unprofessional. The employees engage in PDA in front of everyone. They made us wait for close to 6 hours before we had to ask what was going on and they then told us they canceled all jumps. Keep in mind we had been sitting right in front of them and had been asking questions all day. Not to add someone just died jumping from here. Stay away!! Go down to Eloy if you are serious about sky diving.
The customer service is not so great. When we arrived we were asked to watch a video that explained the procedure, safety tips, etc. The staff was laughing and talking so loud you could hardly hear what they were saying in the video. I tried turning the volume up and messed the tv up. The staff member came over to fix it and said 'it wasn't important what they were saying but look at this guys beard!!' When I'm watching a safety video before throwing myself out of a plane, its PRETTY important to follow along with what they are saying, maybe its just me that feels that way though... The experience of skydiving on the other hand is beyond describable. Jose was my tandem instructor and he made my experience the best it could have been! We were told after jumping and receiving our certificate that we would get our edited video in the mail in a week or two. It has now been almost 4 weeks and I still do not have a video. I wouldn't be as upset if I was given a realistic expectation of when I'd receive my video but they were overly confident it would 'only take up to two weeks, tops' so that's what I was expecting. I will go skydiving again, but I probably will go with a different company. The facility isn't fancy, but you don't really need a fancy facility to jump out of a plane. The plane itself was kind of old, and the door was broken (missing a chunk out of the side). By the time we were on the plane it was the least of my concerns although in hind-site it would be more important to inspect these things BEFORE hopping on board. All in all, a GREAT experience, just wish their customer service was a little better.
Bought a gift certificate in December as an xmas gift. We called, made reservations in advance for an 11:00 appointment, arrived early. The upkeep of the RV, Double wide, and shuttle bus on the property are atrocious - I can only hope the gear is in better condition.
We were told to wait for the boss because gift certificates needed a boss to redeem online. Three hours with no running water (One porta-potty and a disgusting water cooler that clearly hadn't been washed in months were the only amenities) later, the boss arrived. At one, the secretary let us know that there was a twelve oclock and another group scheduled before our jump, so it was going to "be a while".
Then the boss proceeded to charge my Paypal account twice for a jump I'd already paid for. Running total : $600.00 for *one* tandem jump. Staff kept blaming Paypal for not understanding how to use their own payment system / over booking. They reversed one of the three charges and sent my jumper packing. Running total : $400.00. When I called earlier, the owner initially refused to refund the second over charge, telling me to wait for Paypal (Paypal will not refund a completed transaction until the merchant refunds it), but agreed to do it. I still have not received a refund as of 3/3/13, and had to open a super fun extreme ... Paypal dispute.
During the landing of a tandem jump, someone is needed to catch the parachute at landing. No such person was made available for my jumper, and his parachute caught the wind and dragged, leaving his instructor with a minor injury. I am thankful my partner was not injured. During the four hour wait, I overheard younger instructors boasting about the dirth of their experience and other customers complaining about the wait, was shown private transactions from other customers (to demonstrate the lack of training the owner had with his payment method), and was treated rudely by rushing, stressed out staff.
If you're looking to spend $469.00 (the total amount my bank account is currently charged/refunded) on one tandem jump without proper safety precautions after a four hour wait in the middle of the desert, this is a great buy. My partner loved the experience itself and the instructor was well trained (again, thankful that he got the experienced instructor because no one was there to catch them), but in the future, we will frequent safer, more professional skydiving schools with secure payment systems, ability to book appointments, and enough staff to cover the activities of the day.
The most exciting activity have done to date! Jump Masters make sure you understand the basics before jump and build up the thrill before the jump.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking skydive!
