I would like to thank my instructor Marc H. I had the time of life I have never been in a plane up to this point in my life and the amount of calmness was super cool. I thank you again. Absolutely amazing experience!! My wife and I went today for her Christmas present last year. Billy, James, Tommy (Blane), Wendy, and Stacy were all great to be around. They made sure we were having fun and put us at ease since this was our first jump! When we arrived the plane was taking off with jumpers so we thought we would watch them from outside the office but instead we were taken to the landing zone so we could see everything from the jump to the landing!
We jumped from 13,000 feet and hit 148 mph in our freefall!! Ask your jump master for the stats of your jump when you get back to the office! The numbers will make your head spin lol. You will not regret choosing Skydive Phoenix for this bucket list moment!!!
The location was easy to get to. Don't pay attention to the reviewers bad talk about the office or port-a-potty, both were very clean and let's be honest...you aren't there to sit in a waiting room!!

that would happen and provided an excellent experience. Landing on the ground was like taking a step off of a 6 inch step. There was nothing to it! I highly recommend this group if you are interested in a great skydiving experience.

Having no idea what to expect, I never felt nervous or scared. It was truly a wonderful experience.

My girlfriend, my son and I made our first jumps this week. You don't know what to expect, its a small compound off a dirt road and when you are miles from home about to do the craziest thing in your life, that takes you way out of your comfort zone in and of itself. Then you sit down and fill out waivers and watch a brief vid on the inherent risks of parachuting. Then you are already having a "holy s#%$" moment before you are even harnessed up...THEN you start interacting with the staff...Even for a dude as nervous as I was, these guys could not have been better about A. assuring you you were in good hands and safety was paramount and B. making sure you had as awesome a time as possible, especially when it comes to getting you out of your head and into the moment. Pros all around. We jumped with Riley, Chris, Wilmar and Sebastion. Some in tandem others manning the camera. I can't emphasize enough how thorough these guys all were and the effort they put in to making sure we had a killer and memorable experience. We were the last jump of the afternoon, these guys had been jumping all day and they still had all the juice left in the world to hype us up and keep us in the moment. A big thanks to the guys and the entire operation for a killer time. Me, one jump is probably enough lol. My girl and my son though, they already can't wait to jump again, a lot of that has to do with the quality of their first experience. Thanks again to the team at Skydive Phoenix!
Unbelievable!!!! Did a ton of research on places to skydive and it all lead me here. It did not disappoint us!! Had the best experience of our lives. My girlfriend and I were first timers and were very nervous. However the staff and literally everybody else were so nice and helpful. Our instructors had endless years of experience so we felt very comfortable knowing that we were in good hands. Thank you again Skydive Phoenix, we will definitely be returning for our second jumps!

Made a reservation, only to find out in the email that it takes up to 4 hours to jump for 10 mins. Not to mention its like a 2 hour drive. Ill pass.

Great experience. Definently once in a lifetime experience. All the staff are professional and skilled in what they do. A lot of them have 20+ plus years experience in jumping so rest assured your safe and in good hands. We chose to jump from 12000ft and it was well worth the upgrade. Will definitely be doing it again!
Skydive Phoenix is amazing! This was my first time skydiving, and I'm so glad I did it there. Everyone on staff was incredibly professional throughout our time at the facility. There was no wait - we were in and out in under a couple of hours.
Our tandem instructors were serious about their jobs, but very fun, down-to-earth people. My instructor, Gena, explained the entire process multiple times and put me completely at ease. There were no surprises (except that the actual jump was even more exhilarating than I had expected!).
If it's your first jump, I highly recommend upgrading to the higher altitude/60-second free fall. In my opinion, the free fall is the best part of the jump, and you will want it to last as long as possible! Plus, the views were incredible.
It's obvious that these guys love what they do, and they are total professionals. They want you to have a safe and fun experience, and that's exactly what we had. One of the best things I've ever done.
I will most definitely skydive again, and I will return to Skydive Phoenix!
Took my son for his first skydive for his 18th birthday. It was my first jump as well. The entire experience was top notch. Very professional and very fun. I jumped with Joel, who was fantastic. He made me confident and helped me have a great time. My son jumped with Gena who was great as well. He made us feel like family. Sadly I got terrible motion sickness when the parachute deployed (no fault of Joel, I am prone to it). I told Joel I was having issues so he calmed the ride and got me to the ground smoothly. I could not be happier with the staff and the experience (minus the motion sickness). If you want a great experience, this is the place. And when you go ask Joel to teach you the sexy mermaid.
As a first time jumper, all I can say is AMAZING! That was the best decision I have made! The crew is so kind and they really make you feel at home from the moment you walk in to the time you are ready to leave. They got my pictures to me as soon as the jump was done. Max jumped with me and made me feel so safe. Matt caught my video and seeing it, I'm so glad thay I choose to get the pictures and video package! I will recommend Phoenix Skydive to everyone! The most AMAZING thing I have ever done! Every single staff member I met was amazing. So friendly and chill, they really make you feel like family! My instructors name was PK and he was great. He was funny, informative, and made me feel extremely safe and comfortable! I would definitely recommend this place and skydiving!

My friend and i went there on Sunday and this was my first diving experience. This is an out of the world experience!! The divers are highly trained and do all they can to calm you. My guide was Tod and he was spectacular. Experience it for yourself!
I can not recommend this place enough.. I had to reschedule twice due to some scheduling issues, and they were SO accommodating and willing to help fit me in.
Everything went smoothly from the minute I got there. The desk help was great and got everything set up and scheduled. There was no pressure for an upgrade or photo package, but I DEFINITELY recommend both (do the 13,000 ft drop..serious..go big or go home).
Chris was my instructor and tandem, and he was awesome!! He was great explaining everything and making everyone feel comfortable. You can absolutely tell he loves what he does, and wants you to love it, too!
Everyone was so friendly and seemed genuinely excited to show everyone the ropes and reigns..
I received my video the next morning, and Andee did a great job recreating the experience to watch over and over.. coolest experience EVER!
An unbelievable experience! We had a small group of 4 for a bachlerlor party/ birthday party all first time jumpers and it couldn t have gone any smoother! Dustin was an awesome partner to jump with! Definitely recommend it here if you want to make a jump!

My first tandem jump was two days ago, and I wouldn't have done it anywhere else than Skydive Phoenix . The staff was incredible - so professional, friendly and fun! My feet are back on the ground now, but my head is still up in the clouds. I'll definitely be back...with friends!

What an awesome experience! I received skydiving as part of my 60th birthday and will NEVER forget it. To those of you scared to go, it was nothing like I imagined - so much better. I got to mark a box off my bucket list and experience it with family. My instructor, Jason, went above and beyond to put me at ease and informed me of every step and what to expect at every turn. I can t thank them enough and would give them 10/10 if that was an option!!! I would recommend max free fall time and max altitude!!! The pictures and videos made the experience so much cooler!!! The landing of my first tandem skydive somehow got botched. I ended up with a dislocated and broken ankle that required surgery. I was taken away from Skydive Phoenix in an ambulance. It has been more than 3 months since this happened and I have not heard one word from them. I understand that there is concern about liability and they probably don't want to look like they could be admitting liability in case of a lawsuit, but I think it would be plain old human decency to check on your client when something like this happens. First, check to make sure they're okay and show some concern. Second, ask what happened. You do not have to admit any kind of liability to investigate the incident and maybe learn something that will prevent similar accidents from happening in the future. As far as the jump itself, it was fun for awhile, but the instructor kept spinning us around, which was making me nauseous. I told him it was making me uncomfortable and he showed me how to control the parachute so the spinning would stop. Then he did it again. I was able to stop the spinning on my own this time, but not before it made me even more nauseous. Then he did it again! By this time, I was miserable and thought I might vomit. (At least 4 other people in my group actually DID vomit, one while in the air!) Ha--I never did throw up but I would have preferred vomiting to the injury I suffered, which, as I said, resulted in surgery (I now have hardware in my ankle), followed by 2 months of non-weightbearing, and 3 months out of work, and who knows how long before I can return to my regular recreational activities. Skydiving is risky and you literally sign your life away before you make the jump. I accepted the risk and am not bitter about the injury, but I am really disappointed that they didn't care enough to follow up and see how I was doing, or to take the opportunity to learn from the experience. Just because accidents may be rare doesn't mean that you don't dissect them when they do happen and try to make the experience even safer and more enjoyable for future clients.

I went Skydiving for the first time with my boyfriend. It was such an amazing experience! We bought the whole video and photo package and it was worth it! They hyped us up getting ready to jump the video and photos came out great! We had an amazing time and will be going back to do it again soon!
Just escalated a Paypal dispute with them, removing all possibility of a better review. They cancelled my reservation the day beforehand because they didn't have a pilot, and they've been refusing or ignoring my requests for a refund for the two weeks since then. (I was in town on vacation, so can't reschedule.) They couldn't even be bothered to respond to the open dispute on Paypal prior to escalation. Sure hope they handle a parachute better than they handle their customers.

I had an amazing time at Skydive Phoenix. I went for my birthday and drug my best friend along. It's an unimaginable experience that I would do again. The nerves you feel when that door opens to the adrenaline pumping fall and then the peaceful canopy ride. It's the best of both worlds and the view is unreal! I had an amazing tandem instructor named Todd that was hilarious. He had some pretty witty jokes that kept me smiling and the nerves contained the best I could. The location is super cool too. You can see the landing area while you wait your turn and you can hear all the laughter and screams in excitement as the previous jumpers come down. I would highly recommend this place. Great facility, great staff and great experience. DO IT!!
Absolutely incredible and awesome staff. They know it's scary but they make you feel at home and that everything is under control. We paid for the video package and it was totally worth it. I am a big guy at 6'2" and 230 lb and Dustin was able to bring us both safely down with ease. He also made the free fall and parachute descent as crazy as I wanted it to be including flips and spins. However, my wife opted for a less crazy option and her tandem jumper matched her style so nobody was pushed beyond their boundaries. It is definitely worth the money and the team really knows their stuff. Some other things to note are that they will give you the option to free fall for 20, 40, or 60 seconds. We chose 60 seconds but if it is your first time jumping and you want to save money you will be fine with the twenty or forty second free fall. Spend the cash on a personal videographer that comes down with you!!! Loved it!!

Came here with a few buddies from work and left with memories that will last forever. The staff was really great and welcoming and even let us fly a few dollar bills while free falling. We asked them if we could have the video files instead of an edited video which allowed me to create our own video. Excellent time and would recommend it to anyone looking to jump from a plane.

AMAZING, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! First time ever in an airplane, first time jumping out of one, also afraid of heights, not the best combination for skydiving. I went with a few friends from work. The well train professional staff made things easy and really fun. I've never been to any other sky diving place and I never will be SKYDIVE PHOENIX was incredible. I was there as a first time jumper but there were others who were regulars who had nothing but good things to say about them as they were able to compare Skydive Phoenix to other places. All in all, I'm Sooo very glad I decided to go through them rather then some of the other choices. I did a tandem Jump and was attached to Mike who kept me calm and joked around as we were taking off, making things better. I definitely recommend him.

Eight family members did jumps on Saturday, 5/8/2021, and we all enjoyed the experience, individually and as a family group. The staff was great to work with and the instructors we were paired with, since we all did tandom jumps, were fun to work with. We all agreed we'd visit Skydive Phoenix again.
I saw a lot of bad reviews on here and idk what they're talking about. The place was extra chill. The instructors were nice as hell. I went with my wife and bother in law today at noon. We didn't wait long at all. Perfect day. My instructor was PK, super duper nice guy. Even our cam guys were nice as hell. Best ppl you could ever meet. I can't wait to go back. The guy who runs it was stern with his employees but was super polite to customers. I get it, he runs a place were he has to stress on keeping his customers safe and his jumpers on their Ps and Qs every second. By far one of the biggest THRILLS of my life and they made sure we smiled and laughed from point A to Z. If youa get the chance to go, GO!!!! Bucket list for sure. Thanks to everyone there. Editing my review that was originally posted on March 3rd. Negative reviews stated that pix and vids took forever to receive. Got my pix and videos Friday, March 9th. They were awesome. Hands down the most amazing experience in my life! My instructor Joel was awesome I told him I wanted an extreme experience and to say the least it s what I got. I did my first tandem here in April '13, and got hooked. Started my solo training in Oct. '14 and have had a wonderful time. The staff is awesome, and quite knowledgeable. I regularly recommend this DZ to anyone who will listen to me.

If I was able to do zero stars I would. My sister in law and I had signed up for my birthday. I talked to the receptionist twice about my situation and if that would hinder me being able to jump and they reassured me it wouldn't so we paid our deposit. When we got there we went through the video signed all the papers and paid ( I paid cash and my sister in law paid with her credit card). The instructor came over and said that he didn't think I would be able to jump due to my situation. It was a fight to get our money back. The receptionist said he could give me my cash back cause his boss wouldn't be able to see that but wasn't able to give my sister In law her money back cause the boss would see it on the charge machine. We had to argue and argue with them about it. We weren't backing out they told me I couldn't go and she was only there to go with me! After arguing for 20 minutes my friend said just call your boss and explain the situation (something the receptionist didn't want to do) finally he called them and the boss authorized him to refund her all her money besides the deposit. How is that right we were told over and over j could jump... It's not our fault we weren't able to. They shouldn't have allowed us to pay without being 100% certain we could jump. Don't go here!

Liberated and Grateful. The 2 words I would use to describe the way I felt following my jump with Skydive Phoenix. All of the employees were friendly and full of life which almost immediately put me at ease about my jump. I jumped tandem with Scott who was knowledgeable and respectful. Everyone had great personalities which made my jump a million times more memorable. I would hang out here all day if I could. The reasons for my jump were very deep and personal to me. I'm so grateful thay the staff here at Skydive Phoenix took the time to resonate with my situation and make it a truly perfect moment in time. :)

I Never jumped here, but about 38 years ago. It was west of Tucson. Of course I was given some training. I jumped and the cord was pulled at the same time, I wish it had been different, but you have fewer problems this way. I see they are no longer listed .

Me and my friend bought coupons on Groupon and we paid $50 each to reserve our spots. It wasn't until we got there, that they told us that when we call, we have to mention the groupon to get the deal and we could either upgrade and lose the deposit fee that we were suppose to get upon arriving, or not go (definitely going). Long story short, we got no deal and ended up paying the whole price. Seeing how we use the spot and time either way, it was bogus that we didn't get our reservation deposit back., JUST because we didn't mention we were using a Groupon, talk about robbery. Then there was the fact that we got there at 10 and did not jump until 2:30. Yes, they warn you that the wait can be a couple hours, but that is just crazy, especially because their idea of waiting areas is ridiculous for that long of time. So my recommendation is definitely to get the very first appointment of the day if possible. Also, if you want to pay for the video and pictures (which we did of course), it's $80 for a short video and a few pictures and you have to wait what has now been THREE weeks of waiting in the mail. This is the only establishment in Phx or that I have found elsewhere, that can't manage to get them to you the same day, or at least offer an email. The experience it's self was great, both of mine and my friends instructors were really great guys, I mean its skydiving, of course it is going to be amazing, but I do not think anything else about if was professional or worth it. I will definitely be skydiving again one day, but not here.
Jumped with Dustin today. THANK YOU, Dustin. I'll be back next weekend to jump again. If you've never skydived, you NEED TO! Worst part is the flight up. As soon as you're out of the plane... Oh my god that was incredible.
Best place for skydiving in state. Highly trannined employee.....dustin was awsum...they are very friendly with eveyone i had great time its outstanding.
