Skydive Phoenix was amazing. Dustin was great he walked me through all the steps got me all hooked up and made me feel confident. He took great photos and a video. I think I'm addicted now. Thank you.

I have been out to jump at this site twice, and twice they have done a phenomenal job!!
Both times I made reservations for large groups of 10+ people. As soon as we show up, we are immediately taken care of. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and helps make sure everyone is informed and comfortable jumping.
The staff makes sure to pay attention to details, and they go over every aspect of your jump, from the moment you take off, until your feet touch the earth again. They make you feel extremely comfortable and safe from start to finish.
The views are spectacular and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great day!
I know I will be going out there again soon, and I would highly recommend everyone go out there.
It doesn't matter if it's your 1st jump, our your 100th...this is the place to go!!

I'm glad I went sky diving, but sad I don't have the pictures and video to commemorate the first time. Even though I paid full price for them.
I'm not sure if they have resolved whatever issue that caused them to not only withhold my photos, but also not return my money or phone calls, but I would recommend trying a different company or not paying extra for videos and photos unless they can guarantee delivery.

First time jumping. J was a great instructor and explained the process step by step several times. I wasn t even nervous. The free fall is the coolest feeling in the world. The office staff were very nice. I had a friend that was supposed to jump with me but cancelled. I didn t get a refund (I didn t really ask since the website said no refunds) but they gave me a gift certificate so I can use the jump some time in the next year.

I want to just start this review off by saying that this company is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever come across. The only reason why I give them one star is because our instructors were pretty cool and it was our first time skydiving. However, I ended up finding this company on Groupon and booking a time to go skydiving not knowing the terrible reviews this place has.
Continue reading this it gets WORSE. I then called the company back and the front desk guy said that he would try to check the records and see why we didn't receive our videos, and then he told me he would call me back the next day. The next day rolled around and didn't receive a phone call or anything that day or week.
It's been about a month and we haven't received our videos that we purchased. For whoever reads this review I would not recommend this place to anyone because of the lying and unprofessional service they offer. They pretty much ruined half of my marriage proposal with not giving us the videos of the proposal and the crappy quality of the video that I noticed on mine.

If I could sum of my experience in a couple words, it would be extremely disappointed. I purchased 2 tandem jumps on Groupon a couple months ago as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We live out of state and were traveling to Phoenix for a long weekend. After making the reservation and calling back 4 times, they never sent me the email confirmation, so I was not sure if they even had my reservation.
Upon arrival, customer service was less than impressive. We were not acknowledged when we entered the building or updated throughout the process. They redeemed the Groupon immediately after arrival, without my consent.
After signing in, we waited and waited for over 3 hours. We were not updated about the situation and only overheard that the wind was too strong to jump. Staff eventually notified us that the jump would be canceled and we would have to reschedule within the next year. I understand that they cannot alter the weather, but they should have updated customers regularly and offered refunds.
My husband spoke to the office to request a refund, since we live out of state and cannot come back for another jump within the next year. Staff showed no remorse and stated that "no refunds are just our policy." I was not notified that no refunds included if it was canceled until AFTER our Groupon had been redeemed. I later talked to Cassandra on the phone and she acted like she was doing me a favor by refunding my $50 deposit and allowing me to transfer my voucher to a family member.
On top of spending my husband's birthday sitting for 4 hours in the wind and having the skydive canceled, we lost $350. We have contacted BBB, Groupon, and our credit card company to request a refund from this fraudulent company. Skydive Phoenix, I would highly recommend that you change this policy and refund customers their money when they do not receive a service.
It was an amazing experience, the people here are great and made for an awesome adventure!
I went on my first tandem skydive this weekend March 2nd 2019. The experience was incredible everyone should experience this at least once in their life. I am now looking into getting certified to dive solo. My tandem professional Joel was incredibly enthusiastic a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. He also made me feel very comfortable and my nerves.

I have a few jumps, but hadn't jumped in quite a while, so I took a tandem. Joel was my tandem master for the jump. Great guy, very knowledgeable and friendly. Explained everything perfectly! All the staff was very friendly and professional. Had a great experience! Try it, you won't regret it one bit!
I'm a visiting experienced jumper. Skydive Phoneix was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Everyone wanted to be sure I had everything I need, and I was so very grateful for them. What a wonderful place to jump! They even had Viso batteries when I forgot to buy them before I arrived. Wonderful dropzone, and I highly recommend them!

My husband and I had the greatest experience yesterday! We had Danny and Chris as our instructors and they made us so comfortable. I wouldn't have wanted to experience this anywhere else and recommend them to anyone! Also completely recommend getting your first time videotaped and paying the extra to have more freefall time. They had best prices and staff. Hope to come back soon

Dustin was awesome!! It was my first jump and we had a lot of fun. We did some spins (I let him know in advance this was ok) and I got to control the parachute for a while. Landing was perfect. My only complaint is that I got there at the scheduled time of 1pm and sat there for 2.5 hours waiting before they called me to suit up.
This was the best experience ever! I m kind of scared of heights but they made the experience awesome! Chris did an amazing job as the instructor and made it super comfortable. Definitely going to do it again!
I wanted to go for a long time and finally got a chance to go. It was incredible. The staff is great. I did a tandem jump with Dustin and, he even put us into a backflip jumping out of the plane, which was awesome. Paying the little bit extra for the video is definitely worth it as well. I'll definitely go again.
Dan created an amazing time for me on tandem skydiving! It was my 3rd time so he coached me to "save my own life" by watching the altimeter and pulling the shoot myself (while trapped to him). I had an amazing time and everyone created such a fun and safe environment.
Best experience ever and first time skydiving!! My instructor was Dustin who was super awesome, energetic and very informative! My cameraman was just as amazing(sorry, i forgot his name). I highly recommened going as high as you can as we opted for the 40 second freefall followed by parachuting in the sky...BEYOND AMAZING!!! Also recommened getting the video package as this made a huge difference being able to live the experience over and over again. The entire staff was super energetic. I know a lot of reviews (and phoenix skydive website) are saying the wait to actually jump can be 2-4 hours after your initial reservation BUT we suited up, got on the plane and jumped almost immediately after paperwork and check-in which was perfect! Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for such an amazing time! We'll be back soon!!!!

I know many, many customers were unhappy with their visits, but my buddy Evan and I were very pleased with the speed of service and all of the safety precautions. We both tandem jumped. My instructor was Daniel and he was super rad. Evan s instructor was David and he really enjoyed the jump as well. If you re an adrenaline junkie; you ve got to try skydiving over Phoenix.

I went skydiving for the first time and I am so glad I went to Skydive Phoenix for this opportunity. My sister in law and I were partnered with Kyle and Riley (hope that's how he spells it) and they were amazing. They both knew exactly what to do and we felt safe the entire time. Also they were both very knowledgable and they had a good time and made a bunch of jokes. The entire staff was friendly and they made you feel comfortable and everyone asked how many times we went and how much fun we would have. The plane ride up was super smooth and after we jumped it was the craziest thing ever. I would highly recommend skydiving and going to Skydive Phoenix. If you have the chance ask for Kyle and Riley.
Called to ordered tandum jump for my wife's birthday. When received confirmation email, the package was not identified. I called (the same day) to verify the package and they changed the agreed upon price. I requested a refund on the deposit (the same day) since the package price changed. They refused. Now I get to do the credit card dispute effort. Will not recommend them and Skydive Arizona will get my business.
For my daughter's 18th birthday she wanted dad and her older sister to jump with her. All the staff was incredible. I jumped with Dustin and my youngest jumped with Ray. Both of these guys were excellent instructors and made the experience so much fun! My oldest daughter said out of the other places she has skydived, this was her favorite - best one!
I just got done skydiving tandem with Danny and had Hunter doing videography. Literally one of the best experiences in my life! Could not recommend this facility more. The only thing missing is a restaurant/bar ;)
I purchased a package for two from Groupon for my girlfriends birthday. I called to make reservations about a dozen times and left my name and number five times with no response. The website doesn t allow you to make reservations if you have already purchased from Groupon. Very disappointed.

My instructor was Chris and our camera guy was Max. They made this experience so easy to go through and painless!! I really appreciated both of them really taking the time and making me feel at ease and taking all the awesome footage of me! Even though the first couple seconds I couldn t stop screaming. First off, I am PETRIFIED of heights. I did this sky dive to prove to myself I am IN CONTROL of my life and fear IS BEATABLE! Second, I was trying to run away NON STOP but their crew is very down to earth and will help you through your anxiety and fears. Once I arrived, Steve and Matt were quick to sense my fears so they leaped into comedy action. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. from there, Steffon took over. He was AMAZING. I think he could sense my fear and calmed me down by explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable. Steffon was my instructor and I loved that he knew exactly what to say and do to make this a FANTASTIC and BREATHTAKING memory for me. I also HIGHLY reccomend getting the photo packages. Steve and Steffon were my camera crew and they made it a point to capture every moment from different angles. We landed safely and I am 100% satisfied with EVERY moment of this experience. We celebrated together throughout the whole trip because I WAS ACTUALLY DOING IT! I HIGHLY SUGGEST jumping once in your lifetime and with SKYDIVE PHX! THEY ARE PHENOMENAL! In my best terminator voice... "I'll be back."

I can not say enough good things about Skydive Phoenix. As a first time jumper I was pretty nervous all week anticipating skydiving, but those nerves started going away as soon as we got there thanks to the staff at Skydive Phoenix. Everyone there made the experience a million times better than I could have ever imagined! They are also located in a great spot with awesome views of the city and mountains. Special shoutout to Chris who I jumped tandem with, he was the best and made my first jump that much better. You are seriously missing out if you don t go skydive here, I promise! We decided to surprise my dad for his 50th birthday with skydiving. This place was truly the best! Safety was their #1 priority with quadruple checks on all of the equipment. My tandem jumper, Chris, made the experience the most safe while also exhilarating! I felt completely safe and comfortable at Skydive Phoenix and would recommend this place to anyone for their first skydiving experience!
Everyone is so nice and calm. But the greatest experience of all was that the jumpers were Veterans and Army like me so he's in better hands ever... I would of never imagined jumping out of a plane could be contagious... I'm next!

I just completed my 3rd jump at this location and I have to say it gets better and better every time! Staff and extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. It would be nice to see a restaurant or place to get a drink after a jump though. And the outside seating area needs an upgrade for those waiting. But all in all I will continue to jump here!

Awesome experience! The entire staff was light-hearted and very professional. I had apprehensions to be honest - but the ways in which Marc, Dustin, Steve, and the other staff communicated with my girlfriend and I made me feel safe and in good hands. The views of the moutains and surrounding area were awesome - breathtaking experience! I highly recommend visiting and jumping. Also, get the video/photo package, its well worth it - my girlfriend and I keep watching the videos and looking at the pics because they're truly priceless
WOW! What an experience. I celebrated my 30th birthday and couldnt have celebrated it any other way! My instructor, Dan, and man did he make my experience the best as I was alone. He was very knowledgable, calm, and fun! He explained each step perfectly and answered every question. Collin was my camera guy! PLEASE if you book a trip here, buy the video package. You will not regret it. I have some awesome photos and videos I can remember for the rest of my life. Thank you staff for getting my videos and photos back less than 24 hours! Chris and Jason are the best, if you want an awesome adventure this is the place to go, it s fun and don t worry it s not scary, you just gotta make the jump. The worst part or as I think(the best) because that s what takes mad courage and becomes the craziest thing, is the initial hop from the plane, but after 2 seconds you are in the money zone living your best life.
Did my first tandem jump today from 18,000 feet. The staff, my instructor and video jumper were top notch. They checked, double checked and then kept checking equipment to make sure it was correct. Never felt scared. Wonderful experience!
Can't express this enough on how professional Skydive Phoenix is. The staff is outstanding, I did my tandem jump August 1st with my son and a couple of friends. We had the best time of our lives and highly recommend this place to everyone. Enjoyed it so much I signed up for my AFF course to get my A license which is happening now!

My daughter and I were in the Phoenix area for spring break, and decided to go skydiving, a bucket list item for both of us! Skydive Phoenix and their crew did not disappoint! Dustin was my instructor and strapped to my back (poor guy) and Chris took my daughter! They were both very knowledgeable and did an excellent job getting us both well prepared and excited for our first jump! It was absolutely amazing, words cannot explain the experience, the excitement, and just the amazing feeling before, during, and after our jump! Would go back here again for sure. The film crew that went with us (Alex and Sebastian) were fun and did a great job capturing everything! Everyone we met and talked to that were part of the Skydive Phoenix crew were friendly, helpful and a fun gang to be around! This is a great operation and Dustin and Chris made our first skydiving experience amazing! Thanks guys!!!
DO IT! Everyone there was so welcoming and they truly made the experience. I jumped with Steve and my friend jumped with Jason. Highly highly recommend. We did originally book through groupon, had no issues at all but decided to upgrade for full experience and more time. There was no pressure either when explaining what you get/what you pay for when we decided to upgrade. If you're going to do it, might as well completely do it and go all out! When back in the area we will definitely be visiting again.

This was the coolest experience! Jason my instructor was amazing! He explained everything in a way I could understand and gave me confidence and made me feel safe the entire process! The best part is when your feet hang out of the plane and you just trust the person behind you to get you to the ground safely! I highly recommend this place all the staff are friendly and have a good sense of humor! Definitely going back for some more jumps!
Instructors are OK, but don't trust the crooks who manage the place.
I recently bought the ASP package for $1,500 dollars with assurances from both the owner, via Facebook, and from the used car salesman at the front desk, John, that if for any reason I decided it wasn't for me, I could get a partial refund of the $1,500, less the list price of whatever jumps I had taken.
It became obvious after a couple of jumps that I really was no good at it and was just pissing everyone off (my fault, not theirs) so I called it quits and talked by phone to John at the front desk, asking him to honor the agreement that he and the owner had made with me and issue me a partial refund.
He told me that he'd get back with me in a couple of days after speaking with his boss, but I haven't heard from him since--and it's been weeks. I have myself tried to call many times since but haven't gotten through. Once, I was actually hung up on.
Don't be fooled by this company's average 4.4-star rating. Companies can, and do, place fake reviews all the time. Learn from my mistake, and the mistakes of other negative reviewers. There are other places in the Phoenix area to skydive. Don't get ripped off.
These people have screwed me to the tune of $900. Don't let them do the same thing to you. They are not people of their word; as far as they're concerned, if it's not written down, it didn't happen.
ETA: Two positive reviews from one-review posters popped up right after the negative reviews by myself and reviewer John O'Keefe. Yes, they do appear to be posting fake positive reviews to offset the real negative ones. As I posted before, caveat emptor.
Jason was the best person to jump with absolutely loved him. incredible experience. I was a first time jumper he made me feel really at ease and safe. I could not have had a better experience. I recommend going as high as u can. The first 2 seconds of jumping out kinda a little shock but after that u are having a friggen blast. I will be jumping again and no better place to go then to skydive phoenix. I will be recommending u to all my friends and family as well as facebook. Thank u again see u soon.

I went skydiving for the first time the other day Great service very nice and reassuring had an amazing time. Went with two other friends and the instructors were great this was all of our first time and everyone loved it. They did a great job of explaining what to do and everyone felt safe and secure. I would go to skydive phoenix agian in a heartbeat! I believe we did a 50 or 60 sec free fall most amazing expiriance ever.The only downside was definitely not the service but the runway the street that goes up to skydive phoenix is cross hatched with the airstrip and we almost got clipped by a plane but we didn't so good pilot but you guys should really make the road go around the back so that does not happen
If you are in the mode to step out of your comfort zone... this is definitely the place to do it! Vibez are correct, very inviting, non pushy... choose your own adventure. I had a wonderful time, Matt is the man! Energy was upbeat and direct, powerful and straight to the point, he was a great leader and made me feel right at home... just enough twisty turny and G Force for me... right on the edge. I got all the adrenaline without any of the worry. Thank you Dustin for the awesome videography. 100% worth it... go high altitude no groupon IMO. Holla

Haven't jumped out here yet, but plan on it! I live in Maricopa and it's very convenient. Staff is awesome!!! Will be doing my AFF training w/ them ASAP!! Everyone is very friendly! Awesome place!!
Great experience!! Very nice and helpful staff with an awesome energy! Waited about an hour between video, paperwork and getting gear on. I highly recommend getting video and /or photos of your Experience. We got our video approximately 3 hours after. Thank you Phoenix skydive see you soon!!!
First-time jumper here, and let me tell you what, you will NOT be disappointed! The entire staff helps to ensure you feel safe during the whole process and have fun while doing it. Gena was my instructor (aka: best friend for approximately 30 minutes) and his wife was my videographer - totally worth it, by the way! Why wouldn t you want a video of yourself snuggling a stranger and crying like a baby? Seeing Arizona while free-falling in the sky is something that I ll never forget. My only complaint is that we didn t immediately go again! Thank you Skydive Phoenix!
