A lovely, atmospheric place with a gorgeous rooftop garden, complete with pool and bar. Lots of hipsters about, taking in the scene on a Thursday afternoon. Not sure how they make enough to inhabit this rather luxurious hotel. It's hard to imagine how one would ask this question.

Place is enchenting, nice and private. Just like stepping into a private hotel in Provence with an incredible rooftop view of LA Food is great but the coffee and service needs to get upgraded! Other than that, it's a 10!

Such a beautiful place! They have a beautiful rooftop restaurant and pool. There's a magic show on Saturdays and Yoga on Sunday mornings. Continental breakfast is included.

We stayed in an executive suite. It was worth all the space.

Really not great... service was severely lacking, and nobody cared when we tried to complain (manager never even called us back). It s like they don t want to improve. Rude staff (almost) all around.

Also, didn t find the decor charming ... more like cheap and outdated.

Left disappointed and will not be recommending to anyone.

2nd time at Petit Ermitage (for 4 nights). We loved 2 years ago this hotel with its bohemian atmosphere and its incredible rooftop with pool. However, this thing changes this year: I asked for a second floor The receptionist told me to come back to see the manager. I came back to the end of the day. I came back to the end of the day but the receptionist told me to come back to the ...
In addition, no welcoming or care about when we put staff of the hotel. Everybody was looking at his computer or just talking about forgetting about their guests ...
Too bad as we loved this hotel but now it misses the little things that turns a hotel to exceptional. I do not think we will come back for the next trip and will go 300 feet above the London.

Second time at the Little Hermitage for 4 nights. We loved this hotel 2 years ago and it's true that it still has the same charm with its bohemian decor and super rooftop-pool (unbeatable in LA).
However something changed this year: the day of our arrival, I request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor (because we had a 1st floor / ground floor). The person at the reception told me to go back the next day. What I do but the person tells me to come back at night. What I do. In the evening the person told me to return the next day ... I'm not ironed and no one has told me about my request.
In addition, it lacked the charm of boutique hotels where people greet you with a smile (except the doormen): this time, no word or looks, each head down on his screen ...
This is a great hotel but it has lost the little something that makes the difference and makes an exceptional stay, difference that is made with a motivated and attentive staff.

I stayed here a year ago and after reading some of the reviews, I'm wondering how this place got such high marks. The rooftop is pretty amazing, which I'm assuming is the reason for the it's popularity. The rest of the place could do with a MAJOR overhaul. The rooms are old, dark and the carpet looks like it's 20 years old and very dirty. The bathrooms are old, the furniture is old as were all of the fixtures...and not in an antiquey old kind of way. Old as in used and worn out.

This place looks like an old WeHo apartment building that was painted, made to look bohemian and called a Boutique Hotel so they can charge high prices. I'm all about fun and different designs at hotels, but you can't compromise on cleanliness....ever.

I love the vibe here. Great place to stay. It feels very boutiquey and small. It has so much personality. You can listen to live music in the nights at the pool. Blankets provided if you get cold. Drinks are good and so is the food. I love it here. Can t wait to go back

This is the most charming hotel in a great location. The downstairs staff couldn't be more charming or helpful however the kitchen and its staff were a shambles. We had dinner with a group in the restaurant and the sides just never arrived along with 2 main courses. To their credit they made a number of deductions to the bill however dining was always a little hit and miss.. Room service produced soup but no spoon which arrived half an hour later. Annoying as there are some great things about this hotel.

We had an amazing stay this labour day weekend for our 1 year anniversary.

It was a surprise anniversary and Petit provided so lovely little surprises for us. I chose the teddy package, when we arrived we opened the door and the room was flooded with giant teddies, two zebras, an elephant and a rino!! There was a beautiful little anniversary card and yummy chocolates. We hung out at the pool, had a yummy dinner in the enchanted restaurant, I felt like I was in France!! We relaxed on the roof top after dinner on the day beds, under the heat lamp, and cosy blanket, with twinkling lights and the stars above!!

Perfect Anniversary!

Thank you Sergio, Taylor and all of the petite staff!

Horrible service! I booked a room to celebrate my Birthday in this amazing place. I organized a dinner of 6 ,booked 2 days in advance. I arrived at the hotel,I checked in,I ve put all my guests on the list, all was set and clear. When my guests arrived,I got an answer from the hostess that I don t have a table and the only solution is if I hang out with my friends around the pool area. They tried to fix a sitting place there but after 10 min they said another guests have arrived so we have to move again. Shame on service,it s very poor and they are all messed up! I m well traveled and never had such a bad experience . If there s an upscale location, please have an upscale service as well!

The feel of this place has a unique feel with amazing views of the city, and once your a member you have access to member only events that are just as unique. Live music, diverse and tantalizing food menu.

I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world, in terms of service and hospitality, nothing comes anywhere close to the Beverly Hills Hotel. I would go back to LA just to stay there. I highly recommend the bungalow experience - grab a bottle of champagne, light the wood burning fireplace, put your feet up and stay in for the night. Thank you to all of the fantastic crew that make this hotel great!!

If there is a reason to go to the little hermitage it is really the roof top with heated pool and relaxation beds.
Beware the atmosphere is not family but rather I tell it ;-) so couples or friends only.
The rooms are dark and dated, from carpet to curtains all the way to dust. And the fireplace e runs on gas with tiny flames.
Very good location but car or taxi required because there is nothing next

This was a great experience all the way around from the hotel and room to every employee that works there made sure we felt welcome. We will be back for sure as well as the rooftop view's are amazing.

Extra high pet fees, never disclosed to me until checkout! When I checked out, was completely surprised by a $150 pet fee. Average is much less, and many hotels don't charge. It wasn't disclosed on their website, nor when I checked in. Only at checkout. Shady business. Will stay elsewhere.

Ecclectic, unique, very chill hotel with great rooftop pool views. Dinner was great and hanging out afterwards around the pool was delightful. Really great to have the heaters and blankets for the chilly nights.

Wow! This place is the most beautiful cute character Charming quaint Hotel / Lounge / event space. I would go there just to check out all the art on the walls and the decor. The pool top is amazing! The owner is ridiculously sweet and awesome and very intelligent as well as handsome. Very good people work at this place and it shows through everywhere you go from the ballet to the restaurant to the hotel.

This is my favorite hotel in LA. Parking is a bit pricey but I have never had any issues here. Check in is easy and can be done on your phone. (They'll leave the key in the pick up area) Room service also has a live chat option. Prices are doable staff is great

I traveled here on business and found it to be a very nice hotel with lovely views, however, the reason I'm leaving this review is the truly genuine and friendly customer service I received while at the hotel. The room was also large, and the bathroom was lovely, and the rainforest shower was great! We will come back to our next trip and recommend the hotel to my friends.

I enjoyed the space , the energy , the vibes , the attention to detail . The cocktails and the food was delicious. Far more Interesting then most places I ve been in Los Angeles . Requires a slightly open mind and best for those who avoid conformity.

Cool, quirky, and very romantic. New favourite hotel in LA. I recentlt stayed at the Petit Ermitage in WeHo for a romantic weekend, and it was amazing. The Liaison to Happiness, Taylor, also made our stay truly memorable.

Fabulous hidden gem in West Hollywood. This is only place we stay while in Southern California...Stephan and his staff could not be more welcoming.

A rarely magical and romantic experience not often found within a city such as LA.

I loved it it's really cozy and fun at the same time. Nice music n healthy food options. Pool area is small but nice out door area to hangout. I love the fire place and the colorful design. Parking is a bit of an issue unless u valet

The hotel itself is lovely; quirky neo-rustic decor, good sized rooms (if maybe a little under-fenestrated.) A great rooftop pool/lounge area, with large king-sized beds in place of tables/chairs, and an ultra-cozy fireplace. Unfortunately, the much of staff don't even seem to be trying to match the level of hotel they're working in. They're often unaware of (pretty basic) services the hotel purportedly offers, and provide them with the telegraphed affrontedness and displeasure of an adolescent. (There was one real gem among them... and of course she's about to take a job elsewhere)

Rooftop WEHO business. Exemplary staff, from the valets, to reception, to the bar.
The chill work areas, the outdoor restaurant. Yoga, music - all provided.
Weekends are busy as people from outside the hotel with memberships come so consider that noise wise.
1 minute to crazyiness of the WEHO bars, short walk to Melrose and a 10 minute drive to Runyon Canyon for a short 2 mile moderate hike, or a the 3 mile 850ft more difficult one

Despite the look of doubt I received by the front desk lady this visit was perfect. The room was absolutely beautiful, comfortable bed and albeit small but private outdoor patio. Great decor, privacy, and loaded bar, fridge, and platter of snacks. Plan to come back soon!

Truly an oasis. This was my second time staying at the PE, and somehow the staff and amenities outdid the first experience. I spent about 8 hours on the rooftop at the pool, and the staff automatically put my checked bags in my room while I was up there. The pool is luxurious and social, without ever becoming sloppy (which can happen in LA). All-in-all a top notch experience in the heart of West Hollywood. I can't wait to come back.

The hotel was lovely enough unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so the reason I chose this hotel which was for the rooftop pool and lounge area we were not able to take advantage of and if the weather is not great there's really no other place to hang out except for in your room.

Unique blend of lounge, Ambiance & band called sexy and actually gave me a feel of like being in some lounged out; beds, fireplace, pool on rooftop...with amazing view...yet the same time on the inside small intimate type rooms to have private conversation and Pandora kind of stuff.

Great customer service. A hole in the wall boutique hotel with character. Doesn't feel like a hotel for the sake of business but more of a passion project with great art and hundreds of unique details that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Makes the stay a real experience. We cut down our itinerary of things to do in LA to make time to stay at the rooftop patio .. so worth it !!

Excellent Boutique Hotel - friendly, quaint with a touch of old school Hollywood. location is tucked away in WEHO but it is in a great spot. Can t really go wrong with this joint. I ve stayed there enough times now to know it s pretty solid and almost always delivers. Rooftop bar is cool and so is the pool (for guests or friends of guests only). Worth a visit - I ll go back for sure.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and there is a lot to like about this hotel. Its a very trendy place to be and the pool area is a lot of fun. It has a friendly vibe in which everyone is chatting with each other. They have some cool events there, when we went there was a gig by some local artist which I enjoyed. The reason I am not giving the place 5* is because at times the service was not the best. Breakfast was my biggest gripe with the place. Never greeted when we went up for breakfast, we would have to wait 10-15min before someone would give us a menu. I didn't like the fact that they had an area reserved on the Rooftop for people who 'spent a minimum amount' on weekends, it felt quite exclusionary of the hotel guests. Despite all of this I would still recommend this place highly to anyone staying in LA and return on my next visit.
