The hotel has been in North Hollywood since the 70's. But some how has been hidden away. It is situated right near Fwy 101, Vineland exit. It is a very convenience location, easy access to the freeway.

It's a unique place. I Loved my suite.
The decor was pleasing, it was a relaxing environment, and the service was outstanding in every area. The valet guys, the front desk people, the restaurant staff, food... Every part of my experience gets an A+. I will definitely visit here again.

The name is perfect for this place.

The name is perfect for this place.
It is a little piece of a luxury paradise in the heart of LA.

It is the best way to find nice and friendly people in a so large city where it is so hard to socialize.

It is not possible to take pictures to avoid to disturb the privacy of clients and friends and this is so important

I have stayed here about 30 + times.
I love it, it is always great, the people are awesome.

Breakfast is awesome ! with hummingbirds all over the place.

Ive hosted a few small get-togethers on the roof and the employees did an amazing job taking care of everyone.

One review says you cannot walk to sunset blvd, that is incorrect it is about a 5 Minute walk MAX.

It is a boutique hotel so if the 4 seasons is your style then go to the 4 seasons.

One of my absolute favorite hotels in the USA.

I travel quite frequently and have top tier status with Hyatt and Hilton. Still, it's nice to frequent boutique hotels once in a while and Petit Ermitage was a great place to go on a staycation for the weekend. I really enjoyed the rooftop garden and the salt water pool as well as the "guests only" restaurant that had some fantastic food. All of this right in the heart of West Hollywood.

Nice place, but they nickel and dime you. No coffee maker in room, so you have to buy breakfast. If you ask for nuts or pretzels at the bar, they charge you...and the drinks are very expensive to begin with! The rooms are very pleasant, but quite dark.

The decor is not everyone's cup of tea but I guess the location in WeHo makes up for it. My room was really large (and well appointed - safe, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, alarm clock), with a working fire place; it also had a kitchenette, (with a sink, cooker and crockery). And I made good use of the coffee machine.

What a great hotel! Whimsical, tucked away and great customer care....lacking one star for some overpriced items, but hey, it's an awesome experience! Roof top bar has got it all going on! Views are 5 star, for sure! Walking distance to Viper Room and the Roxy...great location! Quaint and quite fabulous...rooms are so well thought out and the soap smells incredible! Comfy comfy beds too....

Great location near beverly hills and other shopping areas. The roof was amazing, it had beds near the pool to lounge on and on Mondays, they play a movie on the roof under the stars and provide fur blankets and popcorn!

The room we had was great too! Pretty big with a kitchenette and large bathroom! And the staff were amazing!

All in all, it was a great place to stay at!

If there was a rift in time and space... This is a journey to a time when conversations with strangers are revered, quaint moments of introspect are curated by well placed decor and I can't even get into some of the performances you will catch here. Cookies as good as your grandma's.

located in a neighborhood, it s a small hotel, locate a minute from hollywood area bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to beverly hills. rooms have warm funky homey decor; they feels like sinking in crushed velvet. tiny but usable gym. the real gem is the roof top bar and restaurant. the food is nothing to write home about, a bit expensive, but the staff is very attentive and welcoming. the bar is solid. the roof has couches and quiet sitting areas. view of the hills. a quiet place for a cigar or a selfish moment from the day.

Great location, uber groovy boutique hotel but probably not for anyone who has the Beatles and Pink Floyd on their music playlist! This is a place for Millenials. Our experience was dulled a bit by us possibly being over tired after gruelling travel down through Alaska. Check-in was difficult- yes we arrived early and were politely, but firmly told to go away and come back at 3pm which we did, only to be told the room was still not ready. We were also informed that there was a private party being held on the rooftop that evening and that we were welcome to attend as long as we dressed to suit the party theme. Now had we known that in advance we would have packed our 1970s outfits! It s a bit rich to heavily promote this funky space only to be told there s restricted access - we were after all, paying guests. The room was pleasant but dimly lit. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Requests for room service and maintenance took more than one attempt. Mini bar was generous and well stocked with everything you need. Finally, the $300 security deposit is the highest we ve ever encountered and hotel policy means you must charge this to a credit card that bears your name - travel cards are not accepted.

Met friends who were checking in at their Restaurant. The waiter was a nice and friendly person but was forgetful.
The place was not busy at all. The food was poorly prepared. Tasteless pasta, extremely salty soup. The request toasted bread was terrible.
Several items on the desert list were not available.
My friends, who were staying for a night celebrating the 50th. birthday of one of them had to wait until AFTER 4 pm to check in. The place probably attracts "Hollywood Scene" characters. Several individuals dressed like they were in a set, very trendy hairdo and clothes, front desk woman with a slit on her leather pants showing almost to the edge of her underwear panties. Topless pool.....Do I need to say more? This place is for a very special crowd, not for simple and unpretentious everyday individuals. An absolute NoNo for children!!

I once worked with a Moroccan gentleman and he was most distasteful, boorish, and unpleasant. It s a good thing I didn t let this gentleman influence my choice in hotels. I recently stayed with the Moroccan inspired Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood and must say I was taken aback when I arrived and pleased.

The hotel, nestled in a residential neighborhood (the property was an apartment building in a former life) sneaks up on you and can easily be missed. The valet dressed in ivy and the entryway is flanked with gas burning lanterns, which made me feel very at home arriving at 2am; a flickering glowing beacon. My suite, if one might call this a suite, I suspect was larger than many residences in the busy surrounding neighborhood and provided all the comforts of home. A step down living room, fireplace, kitchen, well-appointed bath (who doesn t like C.O. Bigelow?), and large screens and technology throughout. The Moroccan theme and colors magenta, mustards and browns make one feel very at home. Moreover, I spent more than five hours at the rooftop private club, pool, and restaurant and bar and report they are all top notch and not a single complaint. If I were to identify any detractions I might mention the very, very small elevator and, albeit well appointed, the very small bath (even in my suite); not to mention

Bellmen in Moroccan attire including headdress, yet wearing Nike athletic shoes a mild oversight. Such small things will never get in the way of my next visit.

Would I recommend Petit Ermitage you ask? But of course. I not only recommend a stay with the Petit Ermitage, I am already planning my return. Next time with targets set on a romantic weekend. Petit Ermitage fits the bill.

Location and common areas are good. The staff are just not very useful and polite:
Last night we were going out for dinner and my husband ask one of the valet guys for a car to drive us and he just said "as for an uber"
You also need to look for the staff to attend you

Very cute hotel overall. Rooms are funky and spacious, food is healthy and tasty. I would not recommend staying here if you wish to get a good nights rest before 1 am, as they blast music so loud on the rooftop it vibrates the rooms until late. Very bad choice of hotel if you need to work during your stay.

Can't get any better than that.. The value for the money just cant get any better. The rooftop, the menu selection, the fireplace in the rooms, the beautiful hallways, the artsy staircase, everything about this little gem of a hotel is absolutely highly recommended. Great service, lots if attention to details, and most importantly: clean

The rooftop is a must!

Charming little place with vintage/French euro styling. On the 4th floor, there is a full bar area that presents live music and a smooth liquor called "Four Roses". There is a wonderful view outside of the windows and when go outside, you'll see a pool with lots of seating including cabanas and an outdoor fireplace. The food is okay.

This boutique hotel has the best rooftop in WeHo and I've started here three times. Sadly the service was very lacklustre this time. Our orders didn't arrive despite asking for them twice. It's still worth giving them another shot but beware of the service.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. They didn't have running water the last night due to a planned renovation, but somehow failed to mention that until the night before there would be now water. Management handled the issue very unprofessionally.

Unparalleled service. We felt like we were in another country. We loved the activities including the free mezcal tasting and the free rooftop weekend night shows by Toledo and his dancers. The food is oh-so-good. Amazing views of the Hollywood Hills. Large, luxurious free daybeds poolside with fantastic drinks. The art on the walls is better than what you'd find in any museum. They don't allow photos, which is why I'm not including any with this post--except for the sidewalk.

Our experience at this hotel from a food and enter...

Our experience at this hotel from a food and entertainment perspective was great- however, then you go to your room and try to sleep.

I had better sleep during a 7.0 earthquake in the Philippines with nonstop tremors for the next 24 hours than I did Petit Ermitage.

If you stay on the 3rd floor (of this only 3 floor hotel) you will have nonstop ruckus noise above you until roughly 3/330 am, and then- again around 745/8am when they begin moving furniture around for their breakfast shift. Between those other times = Forget it.
The staff is more worried about being buddies and high fiving their regulars that party on the roof than taking care of the guests who pay (all in w/ tax and fees) roughly $500 a night for an exec suite - only to be tortured with no slumber.

If all you want to do is party and be a part of that group, this place is for you. However, if you re one of the other 90% of society who wants to sleep when you pay these rates for a 4, 5 star hotel - DO NOT STAY HERE as you will leave far less refreshed than when you arrived.

Such a cute hotel! So many different interesting details and corners. Definitely upgrade your room. Also, Le Labo Santal products in every room! Bartenders get an A+, and they should because drinks were $20 each. Stayed here an entire weekend.
