I don t usually take too much time to write reviews like this, but the service I received from Denzer at Penticton Hyundai was so good I felt compelled to. Denzer s attention to every detail we were looking for in a vehicle was amazing! He really is knowledgeable about these cars & has a wonderful personality that l made my wife & I feel very comfortable! I look forward to doing more business with Denzer in the future!

Keith makes bringing the car in for service an easy thing. All work done is discussed first and completed with quality. Hard thing to find nowadays and worth the drive from Kelowna to have my car serviced right. With the recent recall involving the Theta engine, Keith went to bat for me and after a long battle came out with a favorable outcome for me.

Unexpectedly, we needed to change out our 8 year old-winter tires and I have to say, our visit to the Penticton Hyundai Service Centre was nothing less than spectacular. I was with my toddler and was dreading the 1.5 hour that we would have to wait. However, from the moment we walked in (even though we had never been here), Darren and his team were so kind and professional. We were given the option of having the shuttle drop us off (and pick us up) but then, my toddler fell in love with the candy highlighters also on offer and insisted on drawing and doodling in the very comfortable lounge space they have (complete with TV and remote). We enjoyed chatting with other customers, laughing with staff and the hour flew by. Before I knew it, I was trying to convince my toddler to leave (fancy that eh?) The tires are great and I'm super thankful that they were able to squeeze us in before the dump of snow this week. Thanks for such great service Darren - all the stars and hope our paths cross again.

Yesterday my boyfriend and I went shopping for our first car together with moderately low expectations and some trauma from previous dealerships. Tanner swooped in, ready to help in the lot of amazing cars. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and so great. I am from Calgary, AB and have been staying in Summerland for a few weeks. A couple months ago I noticed that my AC was not working properly after only getting it fixed last year in Calgary. I phoned Penticton Hyundai, and they booked me in quickly, and got my car serviced & fixed in a matter of 2 days. They were quick to ensure my boyfriend and I that warranty would cover this, and actually informed me it was a 5 year warranty not 2. Darren Geddes, in the service dept, was amazing. I popped a tire and was unable to find the same tire in Osoyoos or Oliver. Desperately needing a tire so I could drive back to Vancouver I contacted Hyundai in Penticton and Darren sourced the tire and had in Penticton the same day. Once I arrived at Hyundai the tire was on my truck very quickly. Darren was courteous, professional and he made us laugh. Big thanks to Darren and Hyundai.

My wife and I purchased a used Honda CR-V in 2017 from Penticton Hyundai. Although not particularly interested in an extended warranty, we did ask about the cost. When their finance person told us that... "WITH THE SECUREDRIVE EXTENDED WARRANTY, IF NO CLAIMS ARE MADE ON THE POLICY, WE WOULD GET OUR MONEY BACK THROUGH ITS 'REWARDS' PROGRAM. So, we purchased the SecureDrive year and a half extended warranty through Penticton Hyundai.

When I called SecureDrive just the other day (now 2019) about getting the refund since our policy was completed with no claims made, I was told that BECAUSE WE WEREN'T SOLD THE 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY, WE DIDN'T QUALIFY, and that to contact the dealership who sold us the warranty and take the issue to them.

I explained to the General Manager at Penticton Hyundai that "WE WERE TOLD BY YOUR FINANCE PERSON THAT WE WOULD GET OUR MONEY BACK IF WE DIDN'T MAKE A CLAIM."

He basically said... "YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE POLICY REQUIREMENTS BETTER."

I'm completely willing to take partial responsibility of this situation... but I also feel Penticton Hyundai should also take partial responsibility for...

1. NOT KNOWING THEIR WARRANTY PRODUCT WELL ENOUGH and MAKING INCORRECT CLAIMS ABOUT IT.

2. NOT REVIEWING THE POLICY REQUIREMENTS THEMSELVES TO ENSURE THEY ARE SELLING US THE PROPER PRODUCT THAT LIVES UP TO THEIR CLAIM OF US GETTING OUR MONEY BACK.

The General Manager told me that since the finance person who sold us the warranty is no longer with them, there's no way to confirm we were told this. I suppose I'll have to review my paperwork and see if anything was written down that can help us.

IN SUMMARY...
We simply were told incorrect information which lead to us making this extra purchase. In my opinion, Penticton Hyundai should reimburse us for half of what we should have received from SecureDrive.

I will say that the salesperson who sold us this vehicle was great, even the finance person was very nice and have no ill-will towards that person. I do feel that an honest mistake was made, but that as a company, Penticton Hyundai has not taken any responsibility for this, profited, and are not willing to make amends in any way.

I finally got the IONIQ PHEV that I ve been waiting for two weeks! John solved all my questions, and he gave me a lot of fun from counselling to purchasing it. Also, when I consulted with Jennifer, the Financial Manager, she truly congratulated me on being the owner of new IONIQ and cannot forget her smile the whole time I drove back home.

Thanks to Penticton Hyundai, I think my choice is right, and they have given me unlimited happiness. They deserve five star reviews, and I want everyone to visit this store and have their friendly and heartfelt counseling and make a good choice.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Penticton Hyundai and I have to say it was a great experience. I discovered the vehicle I wanted (a 2008 Nissan Versa hatchback) when scanning Autotrader one day. Spencer from Penticton Hyundai was quick to reply to my request for information on the car. He had already set the car up well on the website...LOTS of pictures inside and out, lots of description and he sent me the Car Proof and other service work done on the vehicle. Hi...we just purchased a new to us Toyota from the awesome guys at Penticton Hyundai. We had very specific parameters around the make , model, color and cost of our new vehicle as well as a set price we wanted for our trade. Our sales agent John was very helpful but the star of the deal was general manager Ian Oh. Not only did he find us a perfect vehicle , but gave us exactly what we wanted for our trade. No back and forth, game playing or hidden costs, just a straight forward clean deal and we are thrilled. By far the best experience buying a vehicle (and we have had many) we have ever experienced. TL/DR: Was screamed at and demeaned by service department manager and staff.
Absolute worst service I have received in my entire life. I called before Christmas to get my car looked at and was told they could look at it that day, I towed my car there but it got there late which was fine with me. I was told it would be looked at the next morning. I call the next morning around 10:30 for the update and am told it is in the shop, they're just
waiting for the paper work so I call again at 4:30, thinking that is more than enough time for paper work, and am told it is currently being looked at and they will call me soon with the quote. I call again at 5 fearing they will close without me getting an answer, they say it is taking a bit and they will have a quote FIRST THING in the morning. So I call the next morning again at 10:30, 3 hours after the service department opens, and am told they are still working on the quote. I am frustrated now and inquire what is taking so long as I understand they have been looking at the car since 10:30 am the previous day. They then threaten my fathers local small business and remind me "they do alot of work with him and I should remember that" at which point I raised my voice in defense of the threat and hung up on them. I go to the service desk to pick up my car and am SCREAMED AT and DEMEANED by the service manager, CALLED A CHILD and AM TOLD TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY BEHAVIOUR (I have all of this recorded on my phone). I refused to apologize to the grown man who threatened to stop doing business with my father because I am frustrated they have been stringing me along for more than 24 hours. I then inform them I will be writing a review of the service I have received and am then THREATENED by their service manager with litigation if I dare write my 100% truthful review. Would recommend literally anywhere but here. As a victim of high-school and middle school bullying this was very triggering to be called names. Horrible service and horrible staff management. I would give negative stars if possible.

Excellent advice and service from John in sales. Within one day we brought in our own vehicle and that afternoon we drove away with a wonderful used vehicle. He spent time explaining all that was needed to know and then some. He is witty and pleasant to speak to. Great experience!
