The food and drinks are good, but I did not like the service. Difficult to find anywhere in the world like the service in Brazil. Of course I mean the friendliness and the way of wanting to please.

Our experience at the Pelicans Nest was wonderful. The staff was friendly and attentive. We went there to have dinner while watching the sunset. We got there very early and Ana advised us that it would be over an hour before sunset but she could reserve us a table. She reserved us a table at the end of the pier with a perfect view of the sunset. Eduardo, our waiter was great. He was friendly and very attentive. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had the grouper, both of which were awesome. My wife also raved about the lobster soup. All in all a wonderful meal with a beautiful sunset. We'll be back!

Ordered a skirt steak for lunch.. Undercooked... Sent it back... undercooked again. Finally settled for French Fries (they were good). Waiter was apologetic, but no manager to be had or even an offer to comp the $3 fries. Best to avoid

This is not a place you go to for the food or the drinks for that matter. You go for the view especially at sunset. Take time and enjoy the view (stunning) and if you get good food/service, consider yourself lucky but don't bet on it.

Have you ever visited a place where you basically had to ask 6 times for service? Well, this is the place you might want to forget! They got like 6 or 7 waiters and the worst service on the island!
That's not all, we wanted to have a beer or two, and eat something later, the guy though we were not paying, so every time we asked for a beer, he came in with the check! Come on!!!!! Try Bungaloes next time, this place sucks anus!

Cheapest drinks in that area, high rise hotel area. Really nice servers and they have large TV's to watch baseball, football, etc. Large dance parties on Sunday nights. The pier is right over the ocean so a great view. Fun, party, atmosphere!

Used to be one of our favorite spots but due to a change in management we will not be going back anytime soon. Restaurant is half empty and they want to argue with our table about the number of checks. BEWARE LARGE PARTYS. DO NOT EAT HERE. And they lost our reservations. So sad we used to love this place. Boo change your management and policies!

Regular eater at the Pelicans Nest. My favorite is the Fish sandwich or chicken sandwich with fries. The staff is very friendly and they know me. Welcoming warm and make you feel like home. Many a times I order a bucket of Amstel Bright beer along with my sandwich and always have a good time with the folks at the bar. Please keep up the good work. I thank you once again for the delicious sandwiches you've been always making for me.

Not impressed at all. The food was bland and over priced. We waited too long just for water. Out of the two staff we encountered, one was really dry. We did not feel welcomed. The view was nice, but that's about it.

Located on Pelican Pier right on the beach over the water, we sat down in the bar area, which was open seating, and ordered chicken sandwiches for a late lunch. We even ordered happy hour beverages since we were there between 4-6pm. The service was a little slow but it was pretty packed. We definitely weren t complaining about the views.

The food here is really good (especially the wings) and the drinks are unique and tasty. The view on the deck is really nice too. If you find yourself on palm beach, this is a good place to eat!

This place hits the spot in every way: relaxed ambiance, great view of the beach/sea/sunset (if applicable), good service, good food, affordable drinks. I've been to pricier/ritzier places in Aruba, but enjoyed my experience at Pelican Nest the best!

Greeter was pleasant, but after being seated, service was very slow. Rather than informing us of menu changes when water was finnaly dropped off, our waiter waited until we were ready to order to let us know our menu choice wasnt available. We chose to leave as we didnt understand how fried shrimp could be available while grilled was not.

Amazing introduction to Aruban vacation living! Lunch on a beach pier perched above turquoise waters with water sports happening around you. Friendly staff, attentive but not annoying, good food, tourist priced menu, not unreasonable though. We had fish fingers with almonds and calamari, and fish tacos and seared ahi tuna salad -very good! Drinks were flavorful and potent, a mango marguerita and a Pelican Kiss ( think strawberry pina colada). Worth it and would do it again.
#2 visit. Did it again, at sunset, for cocktails and dinner. Food was good, not raving spectacular, but very good. Fish was cooked perfectly but coconut shrimp were overcooked (and overpriced). The atmosphere made it all worthwhile. On a Wednesday night there were tables available in the restaurant from 5 until 730 when we left, and likely beyond. The bar and bar tables were busier but not filled. Still worth a visit!

My family and I visited here for my Dad's 60th birthday and it couldn't have been better. Our server, Joel, was the best and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make this celebration special. We will definitely be going back!

This was our second visit to the Pelican's Nest. This time it was on a Saturday evening .

My learning was do not go when the sunset catamarans are coming in. They are run by the same company as the restaurant.

Our first visit was great. This time it was painful. Everything was focused on preparing for the 40-50 folks coming in from the two catamarans. They did not have enough wait staff nor was the kitchen prepared.

Our waiter Freddy tried very hard but he was not set up for success by the kitchen or the manager . After a long wait, I had to get up to find out was going on with our appetizers. Found out that the chef was on break. After getting the apps, I tried to get another fork for the table. I had to get up again to go and get one. Same scenario when it came time to settle up.

While I was waiting with the our waiter to run my credit card, the manager Michael came over . He was oblivious. He was just focused on the big party. He could not care less about my family of 6 .

This is too bad since it is a beautiful spot and the food was pretty good.

We ordered a sampler and a mega cocktail. A cool experience. The view is amazing. My only complaint was that the food was very bland and tasteless. I think this place would be better just for drinks.

I need to review on how poor the service is here. We were assigned Fabio to our table of 10. After getting our menus it took over 30 minutes to get our orders in. When we inquired if we could order we were spoken to in a very rude way as if we needed to be patient and just wait. Then we didn't get our food until the restaurant was already closing. They started stacking the chairs and people were already gone. We waited over an hour to get our food. In that whole hour as we waited: Fabio never came to check in on us, to refill our water, to update us about the food. When we tried to get his attention he would see us waving and then turn around and walk away!! Never have I been treated so poorly. When we asked when our food would be ready because it was 10pm at that point he told us the food was fresh and that's why it took so long. I'm sorry but is the food being caught right then and there because I've been served fresh seafood my whole life and there really is no excuse. Especially when most of the restaurant was empty at this point having already finished their dinners and even desserts! The fact that such terrible service gets an automatic gratuity is disgusting. We were a table of Asian girls. Not sure if that played into anything but it seemed as if other people got better treatment.

By the time the food came we were so hungry we scarfed it all down in 10 mins. So was the food good because it was or because we were so hungry we didn't care at that point? Didn't matter because the whole dining experience left us angry and with a bitter taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Especially minorities. Maybe they only want to cater to a specific type of people and we obviously weren't it.

Very slow service. We had to wait 10 min to get a seat.. another 10 waiting for a server... another couple came after us and got their food before us... food was average. Location is the only thing good going on about this place

The conch meatballs are really good. Quality of fish was good. Fries and veggies were decent, but not great. Can feed the fish and seagulls right off the dock. Service was welcoming and warm :)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The manager on duty (Aug 25, 2019) was extremely rude, the food took over 45 minutes to come out, and the orders were incorrect. The manager didn t even attempt to fix the problem he just brushed it off as if it was our problem to deal with. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The food was average. Do yourself a favor and walk 3 minutes down the beach and go to MooMba Beach Bar & Restaurant!!

Have been coming here for the last several years. Did is always fresh and delicious. Probs are a nice size. Just be prepared, service is a little slow, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Try the fish sandwich, definitely the best in the island.

Lovely location right on the water in Palm Beach, but the drinks were terrible and the food mediocre at best. Considering the prices definitely not worth the money. Not sure why there are so many high reviews on the drinks and food.

Gorgeous view. Food was ok. We went for lunch. Mahi Mahi portion was generous. The restaurant is out on the pier so that was a nice experience. Birds can be annoying but expected. Food leaning towards very good. I can't say excellent but I'm happy we chose it. And walking distance from our hotel is a bonus. If you are close by, choose it. Entertainment is lacking everywhere I go so this place is no exception. The sea is the entertainment.

If you want to go for dinner it's a good price if you couple it within the sunset cruise. That way you get a 3 course meal for 30$ after your cruise. Cruise is around 65$ I think.

The cruise was great and the dinner was also good. The only dissappointment was we got our cake to go and we missed 1 piece. I went back today and told them and the managers reaction was the waiter comes in later today and you have talk to him. Disappointed . In the end They must have been out of cake !

I tried going here almost everyday of our week long vacation and they had a private party every day. So long story short we did not get to eat here after every one of our long walks from our hotel. Big disappointment

The food is very good can not be denied, but the service is terrible, at the time of our arrival they asked us if we were locals or tourists, to which I answered that we are local, since we live in the happy island, surprise for us that that little detail influenced the attention of our table and without being exaggerated, no water was served, I asked for a bread service as an entrance and they said there was no and to increase our anger to the neighboring tables they served bread, the waiter said that We continued with another person because he was going to take his rest and we felt that none of the waiters on duty wanted to take our table. We really frequented this place but we have always arrived by boat and we ordered food to take away, but today the experience was terrible.

Food was good but I have to agree that the grouper on the menu is not grouper. Service was good, music could have been better. Music was geared for a younger crowd that wasn t there. Some Caribbean music would have been better. The plantains were excellent. Great place to watch the sunset.

Nice location on the water. Food was good. Reasonably priced. Solo diner and seemed keen to get the table as they asked if I wanted the bill rather than me requesting it. However overall it was a nice experience.
