Waited over an hour and 20 min for food that was under cooked and raw, awful service and no explanation for anything not even offered drinks or anything for compensation. If i could leave less than one star i would.

Nice place for lunch and drinks on the beach. They offer 2x1 cocktails, but both the margarita and mojito tasted super syrupy and cloyingly sweet. Our fish sandwiches were tasty, as was the grouper ceviche. The wings, however, tasted as if they were frozen; very bleh.

We ate here twice for lunch and it was simply amazing. If you are looking for fresh fish this is the place. Grouper, Mahi, Red Snapper, Lobster... all delicious. The Peruvian Ceviche was delicious. Lobster a bit on the pricey side but its included with a couple of the seafood platters if you want to get a taste. Service was a bit on the slow side but the place was packed and we enjoyed the Pier and a couple of drinks so not an issue. You can see schools of fish swimming alongside the Pier while u eat. We actually wanted to come back for dinner and made a reservation on our last night but an island wide power outage ended up changing our plans. Highly recommend this place.

Stay away! Food was just OK and service was decent. But this place is not hygiene! Guests are allowed to feed the birds so the place is full with seagulls and other smaller birds who poop all around the place, even on the chairs and tables. Staff doesn't bother to discourage the behavior or even to clean the tables, they just put a table cloth on the tables and it's ready for the next guest. Also there is a 15% service charge by default and you are expected to tip your waiter on top of that.

You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful place to have dinner. The setting is phenomenal and the view is simply stunning. Unfortunately our party was very disappointed in the food, it had no flavor whatsoever - everything was extremely bland.

Laura our server was a delight and honestly told her opinion of some items she recommended and would not recommend. Fortunate for her, she has accepted a position elsewhere on the island and will be leaving, that is quite unfortunate for Pelican Pier as she was great server with personality and professionalism.

This restaurant almost ruined our evening to be qu...

This restaurant almost ruined our evening to be quite honest due to our incompetent waiter Joel. It started well with the friendly lady sitting us at the table with the best view. The sunset view is excellent. However, it took a turn for the worst when Joel became our allocated waiter.

Firstly he didn't take our drinks order, then we called him over again to take them (after he had taken our food order) and asked a question about one of the drinks. He then disappeared and when he returned brought the drink over (without answering our question or taking my drink order).

We then waited an hour for our food, which he brought with no starter. When we questioned where the starter was he grabbed our food and took it back and brought the starter. We asked if he could bring our food as we didn't want it to get cold and he LIED that it wasnt our food (it clearly was we're not blind). He later brought over our food which was crunchy and warm (due to microwaving it probably). Of course, one of the meals had the wrong sauce which he then corrected. He also didn't listen to my request of having extra veg instead of the other sides (is he deaf or stupid? How can you get so much wrong?).

Overall the service was slow, useless, unfriendly, unhelpful, non apologetic and the fact that he lied to us is what angered us the most.

The food was ok, ceviche not the best. Large portions but the veg was mushy. The plantain was nice. Polenta good. Fish was average, not fresh though. Not much flavour going on but the service is what killed it.

Truly enjoyed ourselves. We went on a Sunset Cruise that includes dinner here after. It was a three course meal with several choices plus wine. Very nice casual place obviously right on the water.

By far the worst service of any of the restaurants my friend and I visited during our stay. The waiter took 15 minutes to show up and introduce himself, after I ended up obtaining our own menus. Every time he left the table he wouldn't come back for another 20 minutes or so (we have a hunch that since service charges are included and tips aren't required, the service is less than we would want). Not only was the service terrible, both my friend and I immediately got food poisoning after eating here. A real bummer since this was our last meal on the island. Five days later and I am still recovering. Do NOT go here for the prices they charge, you can definitely find something much better (and safer/with better service) to eat elsewhere on the island.

Really good food, ok service. They made us wait for don't know what, as we arrived at 5 and they said they open at 5:30 so we waited but there were people already eating there! They let us in around 5:15 and then we were able to order. Their fried red snapper was fabulous and their Mahi Mahi was delicious. It was very overpriced but that on par for the area.

4 to 5 stars for the good views. Food is just alright nothing special. The guy (i think its called Franky)serving us is kinda rude. Barely talked or respond even you said thank you. And pushing the POS machine around. Bill is charged with 20% tip already. And im not a picky customer about the service. I dont mind tip 20 to 25% if its good service. But for this, i think 10% would be generous.

A food site that you should visit. The fried polenta is very good. The preparation is good, the taste although good is not extraordinary to grant the five stars. The very nice place, on a pier on the sea.

$22 for Grouper barely cooked and mushy; no flavor. Frozen vegetables steamed with no butter or seasoning. Sauces tasted bad. Bagged iceberg salad.

$15 for a caprese salad which was a few slices of tomato with some little balls of cheese on them.

Beautiful location...go somewhere else

Ate here twice while in Aruba. Wonderful fish tacos (either grilled or fried). Also had a great salad topped with mahi mahi. Friendly staff and quick service. I recommend that you make a reservation if you would like to be seated around sunset.

We did the Montforte cruise leaving from the Pelican pier and had a blast. What a beautiful ship and very attentive staff. The champagne was flowing and the food was exquisite. I definitely recommend to do this tour.

A lovely dinner spot after a long day on the beach. Prices were very reasonable let alone for Aruba prices which are a little on the higher side. Had a delicious dinner and the setting was superb sitting over the ocean. I would highly suggest a visit here for a sundowner and dinner.

A great place for a happy hour drink. Prices were some of the best on the island, the appetizers ordered were fresh and delivered fast. Server was responsive and very accommodating. Would recommend this place for an afternoon beverage (or two!).

Just go through the place. I do not know what happens with the natives of Aruba who are not very friendly with tourists. There were only three tables there and they took too long for a hamburger.

We we served by a waiter named Miguel. We had two cocktails, the price off which has a service fee and a local tax added. The total came to 17.10 Florins. We paid with two 10's. At which point Miguel said "that's enough"; clearly he was assuming the rest was a tip (bear in mind the service fee). Since I did not appreciate his attitude I offered him 10 cents so that he could give me 3 in change, but instead he gave me one dollar and said that was it (it should have been 1.70). That's when I left. It's clearly not about the 70 cents, but it is about Miguel's attitude (and the establishment that employs him).

Amazing happy hour prices for drinks! We got the seafood platter and it will filled with delicious fish, lobster, calamari and shrimp! Full of flavour! We sat in the more "bar" area and would recommend coming after 6 as people line up for the sunset cruises around then :)

Lunch of BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken, macaroni salad, beans, corn and roll was included with our excursion. Food was tasty, service was quick and efficient, and the beach and swim were an added treat after snorkeling.

Great restaurant with a fabulous view. They messed up our reservation, initially placing half our group on one end and half on the opposite end of the restaurant. I challenged then to fix it and they did! Some restaurants wouldn't have accommodated the change, so I'm grateful for that.
The prices were good, very reasonable.
When we return to Aruba, we plan on coming back here.
Highly recommend

Would wanna put a higher star however before my dinner was even served. The service has been terrible enough to even if the food is the best in the world the damage has been done. Not only it took the server over 35 minutes to order our first round of drinks, the second round took 45 minutes. Ordered bread and my father in law eats bread like there is no tomorrow however he was feeding the fish just like we did last year. The second round of bread we ate til I seen a little child looking at me to feed the fish so the child can see fish. I gave that child a few pieces of bread and the kids eyes lit up. I tried to get a third round of bread and the server said it would cost extra. I told him first that's sad secondly if so cancel my order except for the drinks of course he said it's ok. Lol I wont be comi g back here again
