Great resort in New York. We didn't go at an ideal time this winter but even in the bad conditions the snow was maintained and made for a fun ski day. I would definitely make the drive to ski it again.

Beautiful! Too bad our journey there was demolished by mother nature. We went to go Cosmic Tubing... which of course requires SNOW... mother nature had other plans. It rained, no, it poured the whole night. But the facilities had a pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub, steam room which were enjoyed. And because it was NEW YEARS EVE. They had a fantastic fireworks display! The staff was wonderful too. Hopefully our next visit mother nature will cooperate!

Very nice RCI timeshares. The layout is great with the bedrooms separated by the living room. A nice kitchen and dining room with a separate pantry/laundry room make this one of our favorite vacation destinations. The lodge and pool are nice. The skiing is good for the area. The area receives lake effect snow so conditions are often favorable. The resort also offers shuttle surface from the units to to the lodge and slopes. I would give it more stars if I could!

While rooms are outdated seemed taken care of. Stayed in a loft and the temperature was extremely uncomfortable. Downstairs was freezing and upstairs extremely hot. Even after adjusting the thermostat there wasn't a way to get a comfortable temperature in both areas. Checkin was fine but almost seemed like staff expected us to know the lay out of the resort. They were helpful when we asked but expected a little more initial direction/information.

I decided to write this review after I received an email from then stating I owed them money for some charges and that they didn't have a credit card on file. BUT, I have never stayed here, or for that matter, even visited. So, I called them, spoke to woman staffing the front desk, and explained why I was calling and my concerns. I gave her my email address, and my home address upon her request, though I don't know why the latter was relevant. She looked it up and said my name was not in their system. I asked how my email address could be in their system to begin with, and she put me on hold, came back and said the person who entered it made an error and that my email address was not kept in their system. So, I thought my name must be similar to the person who stayed there and asked if I should speak to a manager to make sure their procedures were modified. She said, no, and hung up on me. I could tell throughout our conversation that she was becoming increasingly impatient with me and kept saying a mistake had been made, where I wanted to be certain that no one else, in error, received an email requesting a credit card number. Fundamentally, all she needed to do was apologize, and say she would talk to the manager and make sure procedures were put in place so something like this wouldn't happen again. Then, this review never would have been written.

Rarely am I impressed with an entire resort but P&P definitely was above my expectations.
Best parts of our stay:
-Free room upgrade and early check in
-discounted Sunday rate with free ski passes
-friendliest staff I ve encountered in the service industry
-food and drinks were affordable and quite tasty
-family friendly with plenty to do if you re staying at the resort:pool, childcare, indoor play area, indoor/outdoor hot tub.

Areas of improvement:
Honestly I was just bugged with how the smokers outside the one entrance of the Inn was always drifting into the building and hallways. It smells like butt just walking in the door past the ash tray.

We stayed at a timeshare in Greenwood Forest. Always enjoy exploring the area. This visit we ate at Pintree Junction. Always a favorite. Ventured to Jamestown and went to Desi and Lucy Museum. Ate at Sauce in Jamestown. Great Italian cuisine. Also ate at Webb's. Another favorite. Toured a couple wineries and relaxed.

Peek'n Peak is the best place for snow sports in the area. The place isn't enormous but is well kept and has enough hills to have some variation. Once the terrain parks are open, they are very fun to ride. List and rental prices are slight bit pricey and the food available when skiing is okay and a bit expensive as well. Overall, it's a fun place to be.

A good place to learn to ski or snowboard. There are several lifts that spread out the skiers and boarders over the 4 hills. None of the hills have much height, so novice skiers can get to the bottom without straining themselves. Multiple lodges/restaurants make getting food easy.

One of my all time favorite resorts. Great snow conditions and the lodge is nice too. Indoor / outdoor jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool, large rooms with kitchenettes for family visits, and a patio you can practically ski right up too.

People were nice and it was a good time. Only dispute is that my young cousin wanted to get down from the adventure course and ended up being lowered into some grass or vegetation or whatever it was that scratched her legs up. I realize it's a big place and they might not be aware of it, but I'd advise them to try and cut the grass or maybe lower them down somewhere they know is fine if this happens to someone else.

Good for what it is. You may find yourself asking when driving up "where is the mountain"? and that's because there isn't one. Prepare to ski a hill. As someone who had only snowboarded in Colorado before coming here I found that I needed to stick to the black diamond runs which equal difficult green/blue in Colorado. They have made the best out of what they have though and if this is your only option I'd rather snowboard than not.

We visited Peak n Peek for a wedding in the summer and the people were nice and the setting with the golf course was pretty. The reception hall was large but a little warm especially in the back of the room. There was also a large walk out deck area.

There were things to do such as ride the ski lift and get a nice view from atop the hill as well as the Screaming Eagle 2 person seated zip line. In addition, there was another zip line as well as an obstacle course of climbing challenges that is lit up at night. Putt putt and bean bag toss as well.

The restaurant Bistro 210 served great food (try the fried green tomato with brie, crab and mushrooms!).

Our room was large and included a microwave and refrigerator. No elevators that we could see however so luggage hauling could be an issue. Do check that your shower works as our piece that controls the shower was broken.

The resort even provided a packaged kit for Smores for toasting over the fire pits where they often also had live music.

Being from the Cleveland area there are a limited number of ski slopes with real challenges around. Peek'n Peak certainly is worth the drive and the cost if you plan to spend all day skiing. Although the vertical drop isn't exhilarating and runs are short compared to major ski hubs for the area they are on the longer side and they have a variety including a comprehensive terrain park.

One thing that I found very nice about this place is if you have your own gear and want to get on the hill quick you can buy a lift ticket at one of the other Chalets rather than needing to stand in line at the main building.

Let me start by saying we love going here and the experience was still a positive, but there were some bad highlights to this trip.

Had issue with the sofa bed having a giant wet spot that was discovered just before bedtime for my kids. The front desk took care of things with dining vouchers but changing rooms after 9:30pm was a big hassle.

My other issue with the stay was the stairwell to access our room had a musty mold smell that wasn't being addressed. There was a dehumidifier in the hallway that was never plugged in, and the outside doorway was never propped open to help the problem dry out. The smell was so overwhelming that you noticed it in the hallway leading to the stairwell. This affected an entire wing of the complex so they had to be hearing about this constantly.

Hopefully it was bad luck because the package was reasonable, the staff was helpful, and my kids loved the indoor / outdoor pool complex.

We had an incredible stay. It was the perfect place for us to get away for a couple of days and play golf. The customer service was fantastic. Very accommodating and friendly. The upper course was in excellent shape and the layout was fun to play. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying again.

We attended the Fall Festival. The weather was beautiful. This is an event I try to attend every year. The vendors are high quality. They also had a dog show and the were firing pumpkins from a Canon. They had rides for little kids. Food was available. The car show was there. You could ride the ski lift to look at the leaves. A perfect fall day at a perfect location.

The setting is beautiful, awesome slopes, it's big, staff is friendly and caring, and equipment is nice and well taken care of. Only thing I would recommend is to bring your own food and drinks. They are very expensive. Other that it's an awesome place to spend time with your family and friends.

Worst experience of our lives. Came expecting to have a nice relaxing fun vacation. Kids running up and down the hall knocking on doors. Kids running around and jumping in the room above us. Overcrowded pool. Rude staff with the exception of a couple. Food not worth the price we paid. Adventure pack is a joke. Hard uncomfortable matteress not good ic you have a bad back. The only thing it has going for it is the miniature golf and segways. Day time management was really nice tried helping us out. Our tour guides on the Segway tour where amazing. To much chlorine in the hot tub to even think about relaxing. Needless to say we didn't stay the whole time left at 4am. Will never come back here or recommend to friends.

eek 'n Peak has been expanding its summer recreation activities during the past five years. There are many wonderful activities for people of various adventure levels to participate in. These adventures include:
*2 PGA level Golf Courses
*Aerial Adventure Courses
*Giant Dual Zip Line
*Soaring Eagle Zip Line Coaster
*Mini-Golf
*Segways
*Mountain Biking
*Disc Golf

I recently participated in the various zip line adventures.

Aerial Adventure Courses: This contains 8 different courses at 6 various adventure levels. It starts with an aerial course designed for 5 and 6 year olds and works its way up. Everyone must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the lower level courses and may work their way up. These eight courses offer a total of 69 obstacles to go through. As you work your way up to the double black course, they will begin to require more upper-body strength. Each course contains 1 or 2 zip lines. Upper level courses require you to jump out of a tree to finish the course with the help of a true blue zip line connection will allows you to fall slowly on most courses. Staff is available to assist you as needed.

You will complete a short training session prior to going on the aerial courses. The courses are very enjoyable. Upper level courses may take between 30 and 45 minutes depending on your ability level and how busy the course is. I would estimate the height of the courses to go between 8 and 50 feet for most obstacles. A few may be slightly higher or slightly lower.

You will have two hooks attached to your harness. One of those hooks will be attached to the guide cable or tree cable at all times. You must have one attached before you can unlock the second one. If you do not mind heights, I would highly recommend these courses.

Giant Dual Zip Line: Ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain, climb the spiral staircase to the top of the zip line deck. You go approximately 1,000 feet from the first platform to the second platform. From there, they will reattach you to send you to the final platform. You may race someone beside you. At the end, either climb down the spiral staircase or jump off the deck.

You are attached to various ropes at all times while on the platforms while staff is attached and moving your trolley from one zip line to the next. This zip line provides for a very smooth ride between platforms. Highly recommend if you are not afraid of heights or want to overcome a fear.

Soaring Eagle Coaster Zip Line: This is a new coaster-style zip line that opening in 2017. You can fit 2 people on the Soaring Eagle car. It will quickly pull you backwards to the top of a large pole and release you to the bottom of the zip line. This provides for a quick ride. You are seat-belted in but do not have a bar to hang onto. There is a place on the side of the car you may grip.

New Explore Pass (2018): If you plan to participate in two or more activities during your trip, I would recommend checking out the 2018 Explorer Pass for $59. You are provided with all day, unlimited use of the aerial course, dual zip lines, Soaring Eagle, chairlift, mini-golf, disc golf and bikes.

Parking: Free

Waiver Form: You must complete a waiver form in order to participate in zip line and segway activities.

Tickets/Passes: You may purchase tickets/passes online or at the resort. For a 3-hour aerial course pass, it is recommended to make advance reservations to guarantee yourself a spot as they only take 30-people every half hour. I would recommend this particularly on Saturdays.

Restaurant: Bistro 210 is a restaurant, pub and banquet hall located at the Inn.

Bottom Line: If you are looking for a summer adventure and don't mind heights, I recommend checking on Peek 'n Peak Resort. The entire zip line experience is a thrilling adventure.

It was a wonderful experience! We got a great room deal for $99 which included pool pass, $25 dining voucher and a bottle of shampayn. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
They have piano in the lobby for anyone to play, which creates cozy atmosphere. Breakfast is only $10 if you do the buffet, and the dinner prices are reasonable.
Slopes were great, but if you are advanced skier or snowboarder it might be not challenging enough for you. They have 4 trampoline parks if I'm not mistaken, half pipe and jumps.
We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back. Explore your surroundings!!!

Don t waste your time tubing here on a Saturday, it was chaotic. There was an hour wait to enter, no warm areas. Extremely crowded probably like 100 or more people. Little to no staff. The restaurant was the absolute worst service I ever experienced in my life, I waited over 15 minutes for a hot dog while I watched people order fried foods and get their food before me, I think they forgot about me and when I asked about my food they were rude. People had no idea how to enter the dining area or how to order and pay for your food. They had very loud music which made it impossible to even hear or communicate with staff. 2 of the tubing lines were closed, the escalator was broken most of the time due to over crowding and they had two staff at the top of the tubing lines to direct traffic of about 50 people or more. The tubing staff were very nice, they worked their butt off spinning kids and directing traffic. In my opinion they need to take reservations like other establishments in this area.

The sandwich was good once it arrived. Server seemed to want to talk with her fellow servers rather than take care of the customers. We had a large party, but it took almost 2 hours for the food to come out of the kitchen. I miss the days of the weekly brunch. I had to go ask the server for my check. I'm sorry I interrupted her conversation. Looks like we're going to have to find a new place to have our Christmas tradition.

This place has been a part of my life for the past 20 years.. And with anything, time can either be good to it or be the downfall.. Honestly I still enjoy going to PNP but I must say it is starting to look and feel very run down. Between many of the rooms/condos having broken fixtures & furniture or the game of "find the working sinks" in the Lodge, it gets frustrating to see a place you've grown up loving turn into what seems to be nothing more than a quick cash maker... Every year the prices go up but the facility falls more into disrepair... That's concerning! Now for the snowboarding/skiing, the runs are very well kept and there is a little something for everyone! That's nice!! But the runs are not the only thing you are paying for when you stay there so these other issues really need to be addressed.. I truly believe this place could definitely get to being 5 stars. But right now they are only getting 4 and that's because of our history together..

I just loved Peek n Peak because it had a fun pool and jucuzzi which went inside and outside. It also had very good golf and mini golf. The resturants were good and I suggest the shrimp for the pavilion and the porkchop for bistro 210. We rented a condo and although it was a little outdated, it was very fun and we did not even spend most of our time there.

Their Covid practices are not up to par. Many employees aren't properly masked and they do almost no enforcement of mask wearing in crowded and indoor areas. I won't be returning this winter. Too much anxiety if they can't follow basic safety measures.

One of the best resorts within driving range from NE Ohio. Lift tickets are fairly priced. Plenty of blue and green runs. Black runs are minimal. No pipe but there are rails and jumps. They also have enough wooded areas for some runs through the woods when it has snowed hard. It's no mega resort like you will find out west but for east coast it's fantastic.
