Dated rooms is the only gripe I have for this place. Amazing family weekend destination. Great pool inside and out. Tons of activities for kids to do.
Dated rooms is the only gripe I have for this place. Amazing family weekend destination. Great pool inside and out. Tons of activities for kids to do.
The staff was so helpful and friendly! They made our ziplining and swimming adventure fun!!
Easy park to ride and have a great time at. Can easily stay outside the whole time or chill inside. Everyone I've ever encountered there have been friendly and helpful.
Great stay and ski package and room was perfect for us except shower towels. Booked a suite with two double beds and a pull out couch for 4. They provided 2 shower towels and 2 wash towels for 4 people. Went to front desk and they said they would send housekeeping. An hour later I called and they said housekeeping was behind. I never did receive towels and had to share between 4 of us. Thus I give only 3 stars and would be wary of this as it sounds like a pattern.
TUBING!!! YASSSS!!! So fun my girls love it! 2 hour pass and the hills are perfect for all ages! Of course we will be back! Excellent!
Our family enjoyed the amenities and hospitality at the Peak. However, the prices were absolutely ridiculous at Christmas time. They usually have some good specials but hike the prices up for the holiday. That was disappointing after planning our trip in advance. On top of that, only 2 lifts were open and a couple of hills. There are just too many other options in this area for that price or lower. However if you do stay, look for off site ski rentals in the Findley Lake area.
Tucked into an out of the way mountain, Peek n Peak is the perfect summer getaway. We loved the pools and hot tub as well as the basketball court, corn hole and playgrounds! The food was amazing and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back !
One hour to get a coffee, half hour to get a drink, told out of snowboard rentals when in fact there were ample, resulting in going back through the one hour rental line. Mismanagement squared.
I've been here an hour. The ski fitter couldn't use the rental machine. Then forgot to fit for poles. I had to get assistance on my own for that. Then I went to the lodge for food. I waited 5 minutes, no one helped. The kid employees sat on their phones and talked while I stood around. Then I went to the hot chocolate bar... And of course no one is around. Laziness abounds.
They advertise false pricing on holiday weekends. No 4 hour rental despite it showing on the TV screen. Ticket salesperson wasn't much help either.
Fun sledding if you're lucky enough to have snow on your visit!
Went to Peek'n Peak on 12/27/2020 after a Christmas storm blessed us with a snowfall setting up great conditions for our adult daughter and son-in-law to learn how to ski and snowboard. What a great training ground! Their "bunny hill" was massive in size, wasn't too steep, and was divided off into sections to offer a progression from very-first-timer learning slope, a magic carpet slope, graduating to a chair lift area. Being from Northeast Ohio, this is hands down the best beginner/skill development terrain within a 2-hour drive of our home. Instruction was good, reasonably priced, and again the bunny hill is large enough to link plenty of turns once you have the basics down. It was a great day, and well worth the 2-hour drive!
What an amazing place that just keeps getting better. The food is great and the facility is even better!
The family had a great time here. Our room was nice and clean. The staff was great. Definitely coming back!
Wide trails. No crowds....Great plce to surf snow. Snowboard friendly.
I have been here many times over the years and I am still very pleased with the area in general. Easley located for access from Cleveland or Erie Pennsylvania makes this spot my number one place for snow skiing. They offer a good variety of terrain with pills for beginner, intermediate and advanced. The more advanced rain is not that incredibly difficult and in comparison to larger Resorts I go to they would really be intermediate rating by comparison. Overall it is a great place to bring the family add not worried about Young children or teenagers getting themselves into terrain that is beyond their ability. The restaurants and bars at this location are very cozy to sit and get a bite to eat and enjoy some cocktails. Plenty of parking is available along the front part of the resort and all parking areas are close to the building. For those looking for a easy place to get to for snow skiing and a location good for the overall entire family I highly recommend it. I will certainly keep coming back.
My family and I spent the day at the resort. The kids had a blast at the indoor and outdoor pools. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, and the had no trouble seating and taking care of such a large party. Only issue was that there are LOTS of stairs, and it is not stroller or wheelchair friendly. We were able to take the stroller outside and up the hill, but I'm not sure what we would do if we were there in the winter.
A great place for a family vacation. All seasons! Upper course was fantastic and the kids enjoyed the ropes and pool.
Amazing! Wurst Festival was so much fun! Had a condo on the golf course and free shuttle. Definitely coming back!
Stayed overnight for a wedding and we had a great time! Very clean room and the employees were very nice. The whole resort was beautiful! Would definitely recommend!
The people working here are SO rude. We did the ropes course and the young boys working there were constantly on their phones, not friendly at all. Other workers were snobby and snippy. Definitely need to work on their communication skills.
Love this place. There in between seasons, so a little rusty on room upkeep. Great staff. Loved the Bistro and staff
My family and I stayed here for three days, during which we skied and tubed. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very calm and happy. There were things to do for people of all ages and it was surprisingly affordable.
We absolutely love the pool area. The atmosphere is completely relaxing. Great place to rejuvenate from the winter blues.
Rooms were good sized and clean. Comfortable beds. The pool complex was better than expected. The breakfast buffet, although not included was reasonably priced with good food.
I LOVE PEEK' N PEAK ! ! !
If you live in Eastern Ohio, take the drive and go do some skiing. This place is great.
Went for a christmas party for my work. The place is absolutely beautiful and would recommend to anyone visiting withing 100 miles
I love this place. Fantastic for kids and adults a like. One gripe is that Peek'n Peak needs to team up with the Ikon or Epic passes. With erratic weather becoming the norm this would allow the flexibility to visit other resorts while still staying loyal to the peek.
Peak n Peak resort was an amazing experience all around. The staff were extremely helpful and confident. The adventure course itself was absolutely breath taking. I did not partake in the hotel portion of the resort but the ropes course was to much fun!
Excellent locally owned & managed inn for ski lodge. Clean & well maintained. Good food, reasonable prices with very pleasant & helpful staff. Great pool pavilion with indoor & outdoor pools, hot whirlpools, saunas & more. Family friendly.
Lots more to this resort than meets the eye. About 10 minutes from Southern Tier brewery with plenty of wineries within driving distance. I've skied the hills a million times and still enjoy them. Also the hiking trails are numerous. Definitely a nice place to get away.
This review is specifically for the Gazebo Grill restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience and would return/recommend. The details: Food selection: The menu had a diversity of offerings, from appetizers, salads, bowls, sandwiches, breakfast items, entrees, and a full drink menu. They also had a small, but good kids menu. Food quality: Excellent. All food seemed fresh and fully-cooked, and was presented at the appropriate temperatures. Service: Excellent. The waitstaff was polite and energetic. Special kudos to our waiter and the chef... We arrived after the breakfast menu was no longer offered (after 11am), but one of my children wanted pancakes, so our waiter worked with the chef to whip up some batter and make my child happy. Ambiance: We sat outside, in the gazebo, and it was a wonderful experience... Open air, nice breeze, etc.
Good ski resort for families and learning to ski. Experience skier will get bored quickly.
Friendly people, beautiful scenery in and off season, great entertainment and nice accommodations. We had a great time and near lot's of wineries. WooHoo!
Went to the Fall festival. Haven't been in a few years. Plenty of vendors. However the quality of the products being offered was a little bit weak. Alot of items that can be purchased online and many pretty amuture crafts. The Peak is still nice, but I don't think I will go back to the Fall festival.
Stayed in a ski/ski out condo. Loved it. Resort is old school charm and kids loved every part of it. Its not the biggest resort or ski hill in NY by any means, but closest to Cleveland and we felt it was well worth the $$
I really liked skiing. It was a great experience, but after I got my boots and helmet, I had to wait for an hour before an instructor came to teach my group. Some people that got there after us got lessons first. This was on February 16
I spent Friday and Saturday here with my fiance. We had so much fun. The on-site restaurants are very good. We did the combo pass (zip line and tree course). It was very fun.
Service is second to none! Accommodations are excellent and everyone at the resort has a genuine concern and appreciation for your experience as a guest - not just another customer. We will DEFINITELY be returning!
Nice appearance, clean, beautiful location, outdoor & indoor pools, delicious and variety of places to eat on site and food options, Bath & Body toiletries in room. However some areas are in dire need of updating such as the bathtubs etc, Inn hallways & outdoor side entrance areas to name a few. Also, No elevators and TONS of steps. If I had known, I would definitely ask for a room closer to the pool complex, and on the 1st floor! My husband is 67 and I'm 63 and in need of a knee replacement so keep that in mind when booking. I cant imagine how they accommodate handicapped individuals. Also there was a very long walk from our room to the pool complex, even if you are staying in the Inn area. AND you had to literally be standing in line at 8:30 to ensure a shot at getting a chaise and umbrella when pool opens at 9am. Forget about even getting a chair to sit on if arrive at 10. NOT enough pool seating. ALL ice machines were not working as maintenance shut them all down to repair and clean on day 3 of 5 day stay. Also, We asked for a room that you could see the sun set, but instead it was a sunrise after requesting it 3 times and even again upon check in, which we were assured it had a sunset view by the GM Brandon. So if you see this SIr, room 1237 does NOT have a sunset view. There is indeed a pretty sunrise view which I included a pic of with my others. Also, the Reservations center that you must book thru, started alot of confusion when the 1st agent originally did not give us the best price rate which we asked for...and then confused matters more by telling us we could get a "Romantic Package" for only $60 approx more so we upgraded. But after hanging up I saw that the package was nearly $200 more than the best rate which was a 30% off rate if book several days. I had asked for the best rate in the 1st place!?? I had to call back and got a 2nd agent whom was very helpful and corrected it and adjusted the price, but then when our final confirmation email came ( there were several due to the corrections) it still indicated we the still had the Romantic package. The whole booking process must have taken at least an hour. Lots of confusion, which I brought up at check in asking which package we did indeed have, and the GM Brandon was supposed to look into it, but never attempted to get back to us as he promised. We called 2x and he was never available. In his defense, we had mentioned to Brandon that we had not been to this resort since 1998 when we got engaged there 24 years ago! So, he did have a bottle of champagne delivered to our room which was very nice! All in all, we really enjoyed our getaway. And a big kudos to front desk person Corissa whom took care of handling extending our stay for a 4th night, as we did not want to leave lol! And upon our request, she allowed us a late check out on day 5, allowing us to enjoy the pool the day we checked out. All in all, we would go back.
Breakfast was delicious. Grounds are gorgeous. People wonderful.
They have a great program for beginners and a wide variety of slopes. Awesome place and lots of fun!
um... waited in a line for almost two hours and all I got were frozen toes. Didn t even get to go tubing cause we waited so long and by the time we would have gone, we would have tubed for less then an hour #lame
We absolutely love The Peak. We have stayed at the Inn many times and have always had wonderful service. The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, the mini fridge and microwave are nice to have in the room. We also love the pool area and big hot tub. The restaurant have good food too! The skiing is always fun for all.
I can only comment on the ropes course. It is very physically demanding and a great way to spend the day. I loved it.
Went to a wedding here, pretty nice. We stayed in a condo down the hill, a few little problems there but overall comfy. There's a little gas station/convenience store there which I would say is overpriced. The main lodge and checking in process was easy breezy.
All season fun. Great skiing though it can get crowded. Great golf. All a little pricey but quality is there. Even the food holds up for all family members.
Wonderful resort to stay at and plenty to do. The ropes course and zip line are especially fun, but there s also mini golf, the pool, regular golf, and plenty more. The area and views are beautiful. I highly recommend Peek n Peak for your next stay
When you have the best staff on earth, all lead by a management team that is committed to their employees having a well rounded work experience. And because of this work environment the peek staff is committed to an awesome customer experience for the many patrons that visit this beautiful hidden gem in the southern most corner of rolling hills of New York states Expansive Southern Tier! All of these combined help to give a dynamic customer experience unlike any other for miles around. When you set the bar high and run your complex with integrity an a high level of professionalism you will get a tiny slice of heaven.
Awesome place
We all had a great time
Staff really friendly an helpful
Good place only dis is that there are no express lifts.
And the ones they have are slow af
Friendly staff. Great place for family. Fun pool and activities for kids and teens. My husband played golf and enjoyed it.
Hotel needs some updates but overall was very nice
Will be back!
Went on the skyhigh "ropes" course it was a ton of fun. The zip lines they have were nice and long.
We had an amazing stay at Peek'n Peak! We rented a condo at the top of the hill. It was cleaned very nicely before our arrival. Ours had towels, bar soap, dishware/cookware, and cleaning supplies available, though I'm not sure how the amenities vary from condo to condo. Cosmic tubing was my favorite activity; the lights were so fun and the staff were very friendly and clearly having fun with their jobs. One word of warning: normally there would be some discounts on rentals/lift passes with what we rented, but since it was holiday time, those didn't apply! So our trip was quite costly albeit enjoyable.
Took my husband for his birthday and he had so much fun!
All of the staff was friendly and courteous....the food was amazing along with the entertainment and the rooms were perfect....tubing was awesome....I didn't ski but everyone seemed to be having a blast....we will definitely return....thanks for a great weekend
Love the pools and hot tub. The Eagle Run is fun too. Beautiful area.
Always love the stay and the A1 Spa. Great for all ages.
It's family friendly, beautiful decoration for Christmas. The bar and food fantastic. The staff was excellent, the rooms very comfortable.
Had a great time walking the property, taking a ride on the ski lift, the soaring eagle Zipline. Fun stuff!!!
Great way to spend the holiday weekend ofthe 4thnof July
Awesome ski resort I really like this place and I enjoy coming here.
We had the best time! The lodge was adorable and our room was nice. The food, drinks, and pool all exceeded our expectations. We went on opening weekend, so not everything was open but we expected that. For opening weekend, the staff had everything running beautifully! So impressed.
Great for the family. OK terrain parks. Don't let ski resort confuse you, there is so much to do all year long.
Absolutely beautiful scenery. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Spa was amazing and relaxing. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Enjoying the stay here!
Every time I have called this resort the staff is EXTREMELY rude and snarky on the phone when simple questions regarding my reservation are asked. ESPECIALLY since I was attending the resort due to a wedding being held there. Very unprofessional. Don t waste you time.
Family of 4 one night in comfortable room, large pizza with drinks, pool pass, 4 ice cream novelties and a snores kit.
All the staff were nice and I loved the adventure courses! Very easy going to. I got there, payed, and geared up! Amazing place. I hope to go there again sometime!
A great day of fresh powder. This was my first time at Peek'n Peak and I was very impressed with the resort. A wide selection of easy to moderate slopes, as well as a solid amount of black diamond trails too on the right side of the mountain. I also had fun with the backcountry trails that provided a variety of challenges and drop-offs back onto the trails. Unfortunately, not all of the lifts were open. Those that were open were not overly crowded and the line moved quickly, especially given that it was a weekend on winter break! Take a break at the pub which has plenty of room, and a solid selection of beers. A pretty easy 2 hour drive for those from Cleveland, and certainly worth the trip.
We stopped by for a day pass to use the facilities. The price was very reasonable and our entire family had an amazing time! Very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area or planning a getaway with your family.
We went here for a wedding in the fall. The pros: The service was great and the grounds/outside were beautiful. Our room was clean. The cons: I wasn't very impressed with what we got for the price we paid. There weren't many stairs or elevator options so we had to walk pretty far to get to our room. The hallways and our room had a slightly damp smell and everything was outdated and a bit worn down. The room amenities were below average and the bathroom was super cramped. I have certainly stayed in worse accomodations, but for the cost of these rooms I had higher expectations. Unfortunately there's not a lot of other places to stay at in this area. Next time I think I'll drive further away for a better hotel.
Service was excellent and the golf course was in amazing condition. We went at the end of the summer season so it wasn't crowded at all. The condo we stayed at (Canterbury Woods area) was worn out and on the small side for 6 adults. It could definitely use a facelift. The location was excellent though, particularly if you are visiting for skiing or golf. Only downside was it was difficult to get to the main lodge area as there was no shuttle, nor were the lifts operable.
Great instructors with the kids! So impressed with how well the kids were doing after one lesson. Incredibly fun weekend with amazing memories.
Overall good value here. The family has never skied and we paid 55 each for rentals and all day lift on the bunny hill. My instructor even took me over to a hill that was even bigger. Which was a bonus.
It's a decent spot at an alright price. Except food...
I'm not saying I don't like it there or staff isn't friendly, took kids tubing. It was fun but had to wait to buy tickets ,over a hour . And they let way too many people at one time in . Also it was very unorganized! Long line and people just did what they wanted, walked right in front of you , so it's timed so if it was not a free for all probably get more rides in.
This is a pretty great place to go skying. This location is perfectish, since it is up north( snowy ), yet the mountains are not that mountainous. Pretty friendly sky resort to visit with your family. Price is just, they have many slopes, this terrain parks that are great to ski! With my family, we had a great time. The food they have in the main lodge is not very good, except there was a hot chocolate stand that really delighted me. I recommend for the case of feeding yourself, to come fed (some restaurants on the way), just to avoid the food there. One of my poles snapped ( got bend) against a lift, but it is ok. The snow this place has to offer is in a powerish substance. Perfect for skiing! I imagine you will enjoy this place for all your holliday deeds! Happy skiing, stay safe, and have fun!
Amazing pools, great cafe, nice rooms, reasonable rates. A nice weekend getaway spot.
We arrived just before 3pm and our room was not ready yet so we were told to check-in and they'd call us and tell us when our room was ready. Most likely by 3:30. By 4 we called (they never contacted us) and were told that our room was ready. Our room was dirty. Crumbs on the couch, used tissues and an empty chip bag upstairs. We called and they sent over "housekeeping". Clearly a woman on her way home. She had her coat on and her beg with her. She picked up the garbage and left it in the garbage can in the room. This place is way too expensive to be so gross and inefficient.
I can not say enough about how curtious each and every staff member was from check in to check out. What a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful! Great time had by all. Would recommend over and over again.
A very quaint ski resort! Perfect place for beginners to learn! Quality staff! We did order pizza from one of the restaurants! I wasn't a huge fan of the red sauce but their buffalo chicken pizza was good!
DO NOT GO TO THE FALL FESTIVAL! Unbelievably crowded and so uncomfortable with literally nowhere to park and no place you can walk without being trampled. Scant few vendors selling so-so crafts, incredibly long lines for anything food related. You'll have a 40 minute wait for Kettle Korn! Idiotic car show took the lion's share of parking. Pumpkin cannon was the big attraction. NOT WORTH IT!
