Peach's Restaurant Review

I've had the French toast, salmon omelette and duck bacon and all were delicious. Nice atmosphere and good service. Definitely been back a few times because the food is so good.

Waited over 20min to be seated,food was not good to me Chicken was greasy,hard but undone I'm never returning

I can't even review, the food because we never got a chance to try it! My family and I waited 50 minutes, for a table for 3. When I saw 2 couples get seated before whom I know for sure arrived after us, and I know this because I stood by the door for 50 minutes holding the door open for people. When I inquired how many people where still ahead of us and was told 6 parties. And all of the people standing there waiting were new people I walked out the door. What a shame, because the food looked, and smelled good. But I will never go back, nor will I recommend this place! I found this place on check please, and I feel they should be more thorough in checking these places out. They where understaffed, and there was no manager on the floor to make sure everything ran smoothly. They should have been more prepared for the rush. I wish them a lot of luck.

Excellent food and service! I've taken several friends from out of town and they were each very pleased.

There's nothing quite like eating a great breakfast and supporting a local business at the same time. Looking forward to my next visit.

I saw this place on check please, and decided to go. Amazing food, I got a egg white omelette, with a side of pancakes and grits. Fast service, friendly staff, AMAZING!

For a Saturday morning/noon, they seemed a little under staffed, but the food was great. This was my son and my first time and I was a little worried everything would have peaches inside. I was wrong and I'm glad I came.

Food was ok. Ordered the salmon crockets and grits. ALL breading with Little salmon. Don't order the house coffee. NASTY

Came here for the first time on a Friday morning at 10:30. It took 45 minutes for the food to get to the table. The table next to us asked us how long we d been here because they too were waiting a very long time. When the food FINALLY came it was cold and my omelette was prepared wrong. I asked the host to get a manager and he rudely told me she was not available. I had to flag my waitress down (she hadn t come back to the table) and tell her my issues to try to get a manager. Manager still doesn t come and brings the bill back with $5 taken off. I tell the server (Raven) this is unacceptable and I am not paying for any of my food. The manager FINALLY came to the table, clearly with attitude, she didn t give us her name, and she finally compensated my meal. The rude male host told me her name is Tillia (tah-lee-yah). This entire experience was unacceptable, I understand things happen (I m actually a server myself) but how you treat an upset (but still respectful) customer makes all the difference.

This ruined my entire morning and I still left and had to get something else to eat.

The food was excellent! My mom enjoyed the special Creole sauce and the catfish and grits, and I really liked the Peach's omelette (three eggs is going to fill you up until dinner). It was a little costly, and there is really limited parking on the boulevard, which was the Earth's main barrier to a return trip. Any kind of a lot, if possible, should alleviate that.

I'm from outta town, our server was very helpful in helping me with food I was unfamiliar with. I know without a doubt next time I'm back in Chicago I'm eating at Peach's

Nice brunch spot serving typical breakfast/brunch fare with a few extras. My friend said the duck bacon and house special peach coffee were delicious. They have gluten free pancakes! The staff is friendly and accommodating

Absolutely worth the wait. Everything was delicious (and we had almost everything on the menu) Staff was wonderful, accommodating, and very helpful and polite.

This place is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Shrimp and grits are off the chain. My Mommy just passed and she loved this place. Staff is always so welcoming.

Service was very nice. I ordered steak and eggs and I couldn t even eat it. It was disgusting. The steak was tough and the eggs were orange and undercooked. The pancakes I could have made at home. The service and staff were excellent though. I will not be back.

I came this morning for breakfast. My order taker was not feeling well but was very friendly. After placing my order I noticed she was crying. I alerted her manager that she was hurting and needed assistance. The manager was very unkind about it. The manager responded to me in a curt manner stating the young lady should call her family then!??? Wow... A little compassion would go along way. As for me I haven't received my food yet. I'll update my review for that part but for right now the manager left a sour Peach Taste in my mouth!

The manager was too rude! I asked for a full refund and didn't eat the food smh! I won't be back! The managers attitude is terrible!

Ordered catering for a work conference (50+ attendees). The Manager, Tilila, was super helpful, answered every one of my questions, and saw the entire thing through from the order to the delivery. I was told the staff was short one chef, and yet they still managed to whip up breakfast for 50+ people by 7:30am. Everyone loved the food! Peach's is definitely a new all time Chicago favorite!

I have been there twice so far & each time the service & food has been good.

Very pleasant experience. Professional staff. Owner on premises. Greets guests as he passes through. Meeting place for regulars. Delicious peaches and bourbon French toast.

The only thing better than the food, and peach coffee is the service. Feels like family every time.

Great food, great time. The shrimp and grits excellent as always and the new Fish and chips with shrimp were equally as good...

Visited while in town and while I m a Starbucks coffee fan the coffee here was delicious!! I hadn t had cheese grits in a while and they were delicious.

Enjoyed the catfish and grits and my husband had the Philly chicken omelette. Only thing that can improve is the waitress was all over the place. Nothing a little training can't fix.

Peach's is my favorite place to eat breakfast. The biscuits are melt in your mouth, the grits are perfectly done and there are always new specials. The chef has obviously put a lot of love and attention into the food. Our favorite waitress is sweet and attentive, however I wouldn't go there just for the service. It's for the biscuits.

Cozy restaurant in a cozy neighborhood. A trip to bronzeville wouldn't be complete without a cup of delicious peach coffee (yes, peaches!) and omelet (sans peaches). Owners are also a delight. Support this local business!

Good food, had the croquettes which are tasty, grits not so much, pancakes delightfully fluffy, steak not medium as asked but not overcooked so was edible, duck bacon was awesome and really happy for the alternative as a non pork eater, scrambled eggs ok, can't mess that up, will try omelettes next time and more duck bacon!!!

First time there today. I really enjoyed the experience. Peach Flavored Coffee was interesting. I recommend the Shrimp and Grits. The wait staff was very nice and the prices are reasonable. I would like to visit this establishment again.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this new restaurant. The customer service is AWESOME. The wait was estimated at 25 - 30 min however we only waited 15 minutes. On the down side our table wobbled which caused our drinks to spill over. Also our eggs were cold. So the waiter replaced the eggs but not the other food on the plate. This cause our other food to be cold. This extended the time on which we could began eating but the cold food was replaced with any hesitation.

Not a Happy camper. The Service was horrible and the food was meh! Not going back EVER.

The food is always great! We walked in and were seated immediately. Breakfast is cooked to order and served fresh & hot! We're never disappointed. Our plan is to visit their new location next weekend.

Peach's is great. This is our favorite place for a weekend breakfast outing. I'm a fan of the biscuits and gravy. And while I'm not a coffee drinker, their peach coffee gives off a relaxing aroma. If you can try to go on a weekend day. The service will be better.

My elderly father wasted his water on the table and seat, it took so long for someone to come clean it up I had clean the table, seat and floor myself!! I asked for help but that person did not get anyone. The manager tried to explain why none of the three employees standing around could not help. I was given a $10 gift certificate which I feel did not even begin to solve my problem!!

They are just*EXCELLENT* go in sit down and see for yourself.

Talk about a loving and friendly and courteous staff. These people knew their menu and were proud to make recommendations. I am loving the duck bacon. The place is spotless, and I cannot wait to go back. It will definitely be one of my go-to places for breakfast. God Bless You Guys.

Great food. Everything was delicious. The wait for the food was a bit long but it was good.

I had chicken and French. Toast. My chicken was over cooked and my 2 halves were burnt. Very disappointed!! Music and service was good.

1st of all PEACH COFFEE!!!!!! There food is amazing too, especially the shrimp and grits.

My 1st time here. Great service/customer service (Tanya). The food was delicious: shrimp & grits. I will be coming back, and recommending Peach's. I'm glad to see a good restaurant with good food on the south side of Chicago.

A little slow, out of some key items, good service and food was good.

Great food, smooth music and friendly faces makes it top notch for a place to bring friends and family for a peaceful day to relax.

The food is incredible, but was frustrating to watch them lose money because of inefficiency. It took us more than 45 minutes to be seated and another 45 after we ordered to get our food. It was breakfast food so I cant think of anything for breakfast that takes almost an hour to make. They were fair in seating parties and we didnt see people seated after us get food before us or anything. But families with little kids were struggling to keep them calm. The person seating people was really great given what she had to work with and I even saw her helping bus tables.

Again, food was great, but I wish they were more prepared to serve people on a busy morning.

Very good sevice will definitely visit this place again
