Peach's Restaurant in the historic Bronzeville area of Chicago is a great place for an awesome breakfast with stellar service. They even have peach flavored coffee if you want to try something new. Idk how they do it but yes delicious. Would definitely recommend to any foodie who thrives on a amazing breakfast to start their day!

As a avid supporter of Black Owned Business I was very excited to come to Peaches. Upon arrival we stood while the hostess texted on her phone before we were greeted. Once seated we waited 1hr and 30 minutes for arrival of our food the food we ordered was clearly sitting back for a while the buss boy and hostess went to the back to check on kitchen and our food arrived shortly after at room temperature of course we asked to warm it up the food was not bad but cold and service was deplorable. I would suggest stronger management so that things can run smoother the issues we had were easy fixes if there was a strong leader or manager to oversee production.

Great food the wait time on this Saturday was only about 30 minutes. The waiter we had was excellent and was very considerate. The food was great I had an omelette with fetta cheese and all the veggies. The restaurant atmosphere was great and with clean bathroom deserve 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Pretty good comfort food. I've eaten there twice. I was seated and served quickly the server was polite and the food was filling. The diner is bright and lively, the music is a bit loud and the bathrooms are clean. There is street and meter parking. It sometimes gets quite busy and you may have a bit of a wait. Try the cheese grits and duck bacon.

Great food with very comfortable outdoor seating under oversized umbrellas. Duck sausage is amazing and the eggs cooked to order were perfect. 1st time there has a visitor to the city and looking forward to my return

The food is amazing! The salmon croquettes are THE BEST Ive ever tasted and they are not from a can. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I haven't ordered anything that wasn't wonderfully prepared and delicious.

I'd love to provide a review, but I cannot. Arrived, was told it was a 30-40 minute wait but could sit at counter now.

Sat at the counter, waited 10 minutes for acknowledgement. Spot I sat at, along with 3 others, were not bussed in this time period. There were 4 staff behind the counter, one of which polished silverware the entire time I sat, unacknowledged, at the counter.

6 minutes into my wait, cook brought out food. I had not ordered yet.

I really wanted to support, but bad service is an immediate do not return for me.

great

Today was mommy daughter day so I took my daughter to Peaches Restaurant for breakfast. This is our first time visiting this restaurant. We placed our order which was the "Peaches Special!" That consisted of a eggs, duck bacon or turkey bacon or sausages), country fried potatoes or grits or pancakes, waffles or toast. We both ordered the same special. From the time we placed order until the time we received our food, it took 40minutes for us to get our food! I was boiling.., I told the waitress that I was gonna write a review because the wait time to get food was extremely excessive! Although the food was hot when it was brought to us but I will not be going back!

Whatever you do DON'T ORDER an omelet they cook them way too hard and in those tiny skillets so its a burnt fold over mess ! There is only one kind waitress that attempts to get your order right the first time. Save yourself the hassle and head to iHop

I ordered my fave, the duck bowl. When I received it, it was cold which is unusual... because it wasn't super busy (but there was only one server) I've been here many times and I hope that this was just one bad experience... and not an indication of decline

We made reservation because we had a large group (9ppl) the manager greeted ua at the door and acknowledged us as the group with the reservation. We were seated and yhe manager came with a surprise dish while we waited just to thank us for coming. The waitress handled our group well. The food was great.

I love coming here and getting great service, but I just wish they'd let you know ahead of time if they're out of something. I love the shrimp and grits the most, and this is the third time that I've gotten excited, take my friends and family to try, but then not have. I know that in this business things run out, but if it's out or you're not selling anymore, inform your guests instead or take it off the menu. As always, great food, great staff and will still keep coming back!

The service was extremely slow it took over 2 hours for us to be seated and to receive our food and then we had to wait a additional 30 minutes just for the waitress to give us the bill I had the duck bowl which was tasty but the portion size was to small for a grown

If i had 4 hands i would give this place 4 thumbs down if you guys only knew how they prepared your food you would never eat here the owner boils the coffee water in greasy pots cause the coffee machine always breaks down they get their ice from another location in garbage bags which is unsanitary the so called manager sleeps on the job while everyone else is working and its NOT even black owned Clifford Rome is just a front man.

Decided to try Peaches out after i seen a review of this restaurant and my husband and I went on a Friday morning the restaurant wasnt crowded. We got there around no 9:30 the young woman that was at the counter was on a call...she motioned for us to hold on but when she was done with her call she didn't really greet us she didn't seem too welcoming she seated us at a the table that had not been cleaned from the prior guests and my husband had to point it out to her that the table need to be o cleaned she wiped it and then just kind of proceeded just kind of walked away even after she seated us she didn't seem very welcoming. At any rate we decide to order I can tell you this that the food was delicious and I kind of made up for the unfriendly welcome should I say. We tried the salmon croquettes and grits with the house sauce....and they were Delicious!! we also tried the breakfast slider with the peach compote and house potatoes were delicious they were seasoned just right I mean the flavor everything it was really really tasty And my husband fell in love with the food and bragged to all the ladies and told them how much he enjoyed the food I'm giving it a 4-star because the conter clerk wasn't very friendly. But we did have a waitress her name was Raven who was really nice really and accommodating and we will probably go back and try their lunch. Outside of that the food was hot and fresh Raven was really nice attentive we offered her a generous tip we will go back to try out the lunch I would have to say my overall first impression I think means everything dealing with customer service I know how that impact your business since my husband enjoyed it so much I'm pretty sure we would try it out for lunch possibly.

Bit over crowded I think and not for reasons of having fabulous food but for reasons that they are unorganized. They need to get a staff that can handle a big crowd may be different table settings so the crowd does not have to wait as long as they do waiting and please please please please please get rid of that peach coffee omg that is disgusting.

Now the contribution to the wait time could also be the chefs in back. Maybe they re in training maybe they re giving back and hiring the younger individuals but they need to take a full week and just blast them with orders when no one s there and then set them loose on the crowd. Your food can then come out hot not tepid. I had a great grits and shrimp meal but that dish was close to cold.

That s the only thing I hate about our own personal neighborhood restaurants where our people own something, employees are allowed to grab onto the attitude that has been pretrade of us as being lazy and frustrated and angry and just slow minded whereas we can change all that with just one management team saying no we don t work that way.

But I have to give to the staff at peaches they are pretty professional to be young they re pretty nice to you as far as the wait staff goes I just think they

Awesome experience. Service was excellent, our server Latoya was extremely helpful answering all our questions and requests. We had a house omelette with steak and another omelette with sausage and peppers. My wife had the Peach Bourbon French toast. We also had their cheese grits. Dessert was the Peach cobbler. All in all a wonderful time. We'll be back next month.

Duck bacon and pancakes are my favorites at this local spot. Partner that with a cup of their signature peach flavored coffee and brunch is a done! Be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table,. However, once you place your order the food arrives quickly.

Nice place, Very Comfortable. Uber Friendly Staff. The Salmon Croquettes are great. My Favorite Dish has to be the Bourbon Peach French Toast. Best part about them is that they are Not Over The Top in Sweetness like some of the elaborate French Toast dishes you'll find at a lot of breakfast spots. The Chicken Wings and French Toast dish can be pretty clutch as well. The wings are small but tasty, I see my self getting that next time I go. The Biscuits and Gravy is flavorful but too heavy for me. I barely got through one of the two Huge Biscuits they serve you. The Southern Benedict is pretty much the same as the Biscuits and Gravy just with a couple pieces of bacon and two over cooked eggs Benedict (not runny , but solid yolks) added on top. Speaking of Bacon I had to get the Duck Bacon, lol , Good but not blown away good. Reminded me of Turkey bacon which they also offer. Do not skip on the Coffee ! Delicious! Above Average breakfast cup of joe for sure! They also sell bags of the Coffee Beans, Ground or Whole. Parking was easy to find, location is right on the corner. We waited maybe 15 min for a table. Enjoy!
