I love this place! Good food. good service. Good price.
I love this place! Good food. good service. Good price.
The biscuits n gravy was very delicious and filling at this Black owned restaurant!!I've never heard of this place or duck bacon until I came to Peach's and it was pretty good. I'll definitely be back!!
Excellent service! Delicious food! I am more than satisfied. I will be a regular at Peaches!
Noisey coffee shop. There was a small extremely loud group nobody bothered to ask to pipe down. Never again. Really ridiculous.
Great Lil quaint spot, good food, nice servers. Although the servers look like they may be fresh out of prison. Got a fabulous ribeye and eggs for $12.99! And it was flavorful and delicious
The coffee was great not a whole lot of vegetarian options.
Service was horrible will never go back food was awesome
The food is delicious, good wait staff, available street parking, and diverse clientele. Definitely recommend!
They are friendly curtoeus and the food is always good
The service was amazing
Food food
I cleaned these
Chicken bones
Took my family here the day before Father's Day last year. It took 30 minutes to be seated. Another 30 minutes for our food to come out after we ordered. When the food came the orders were wrong, but they made corrections to rectify the situation. The food was decent though.
Great concept great food explemary customer service ....you gotta check it out that Duck Beacon was Banging!!!
This restaurant is conveniently located and provides an excellent dining experience. The service was warm and friendly. Enjoyed a signature breakfast with "duck bacon" and Peach Coffee. Curious at first but now a fan.
Had an omelette and fresh fruit cup. The service was on point just like thier house blend peach coffee.
It was slightly crowded but not enough to wait 30 minutes to be seated, in addition, had to beckon a waitress to take out order and it took too long for the order to be filled the quickest thing to happen was receiving our bill!
You must try one of these delicious items:
1. Duck bacon and egg sandwich
2. Crab cakes and cheese grits
Amazingggg breakfast! The staff is extremely hospitable, and the music was jammin. Try the peach flavored coffee! I was skeptical at first, but I ended up downing like 4 cups. The shrimp and grits was seasoned perfectly. I also took a few bites of my husband's peach bourbon french toast and duck bacon. Overall, a great experience. Get there early or try to snag a seat at the bar, otherwise you'll be waiting a while.
2 small. 4 the price, the servings r not worth it...otherwise, this is a nice place.
The food was really good worth the wait. The peach palmer was so fresh. I would come back for sure maybe not on the weekend.
I had shrimp and grits and a coffee. My bf had catfish and grits with eggs. Spent 47.00. He initially want the catfish and greens but of course there were no greens, just spinach. That is my only complaint. Everything was delicious.. No pictures.
Small salmon croquet's my friend's steak was served cold then warmed up which made it tough. Eggs were over cooked. The server removed charge for the steak. The peach coffee was good but I don't think I'll return.
Peach's serves great breakfast! They have other options which I haven't tried yet. The service is quick and they staff is great. This is a popular place so there is however, a wait for getting seating as there tends to be line of customers. They also have low background music that continuously plays which gives it a relaxed feel. It's a perfect place for its location.
Update: there can be long wait times, especially on Sundays.
I come to this place every chance I get. The duck bowl is my favorite. The shrimp and grits are delicious and my second go to. This place has good service with a friendly staff.
Staff was excellent, courteous and continued to check on our table. Food was good.
Shrimp and grits the bomb. I love the food. A bit pricey though.
We took my mother in law for breakfast for her birthday today 2/24/19. The service was horrible on top of waiting 45 minute wait to be seated and another 30 minutes to get my food. I m all for supporting black owned , but with the service being bad and the food not good, I m very disappointed. This is my first and last time. Informed the manager and wa given a $2:00 discount. Your team needs to be better.
This place has really good food. The coffee was amazing peach flavored I brought a whole bag to go.
They bring your food out in segments not all at once
Love this Restaurant, the Service was fast and friendly. The food is DELICIOUS and the chef, Chef Trell came to our table to replace the Southern Benedict because He was not happy with the presentation, Wow now That's Caring.
Lovely staff. Rion had us laughing but he was very informative about the food choices.
The hostess was amazing my waitress was O.K. The wait for a table was very long and my food took long as well but it was a Saturday and they were busy. The drinks were brought out 40 minutes before the food and they had the nerve to charge me for a refill. It was really cold my daughter and I as well as others kept their coats on the entire time. The biscuits and gravy were good the cheese grits and salmon were ok. I will not be back!!
We ate here when we visited Chicago and fell in love with the food. The salmon croquettes and cheese grits were out of this world! The service and waitstaff were impeccable and our wait for a table was minimal. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the city.
Well the greeter was pleasant. The time was short to be seated. However my pancakes never came out with my meal. The food was tasty and the place had a nice atmosphere. By the way this was my first visit.
Great service ..good food! I would highly recommend this breakfast spot..
I dined in today; Saturday, November 28, 2015. Today my granddaughter Khadijah's birthday [Remy salon]. My son William loves the catfish, grits and greens....Bronzeville Boutique. I ate this meal today....5*****, hands down!!! Much success. Keep God first!
Respectfully,
Naomi Sharif
The food is worth the wait, because the service is kind of slow.
This is a great restaurant in Bronzeville and I hope it sticks around. I recommend their shrimp and grits with one of their homemade biscuits from scratch. They also have a bottomless cup of their own house blend of coffee which is delicious with their french toast.
The food was great but I called in my order was told 20min ... I arrived 15mins after I called and still had to wait 1 hour for my good after I paid. There 3 other parties that were given the same generic 15min quote that had to wait well beyond that time as well. No apologies or compensation was offered
Salmon croquette were over cooked at them then they brought the second ones out and the were like mashed potatoes.. Wasn't satisfied at all
A friend of mine told me about this place and wow was she correct. This food is so good! I had the Southern Flight, we went on a Sunday at 10am. For our party of 4 we waited 10 minutes for a table which was pretty quick. Although the wait for the food was an hour, I'm not lying to you when I say it was worth the wait! Will be back soon just not on the weekend! #sofreakingadorablehairstudio #Chicago #chicagostylist #locspecialist
Wonderful food, excellent service, fantastic environment ans most of all - Awesome prices.
Food was food. Service could be better. Will give this place one more try.
Always a good meal to be had here. Something not quite right? Let them know & they'll try to fix it. I love the shrimp & grits, chicken & french toast & the peach coffee!
Come here once and they'll win you over forever. Breakfast was amazingly delicious, you can tell the chef loves to cook. One of the best breakfast joints in Chicago.
Great breakfast and service! Support black businesses in your neighborhood and everywhere!
Excellent biscuits and skillets, attentive waiters, friendly atmosphere, bright and ckean
what can I say about Peach s Cafe? First off ..try the peach coffee..at first you doubt it will be good but once you taste it you realize it s life changing . Second, do not be afraid of the duck items on the menu. Treat yourself to duck bacon. #noregrets
Third, customer servcie was on point Finally, i give it 5 stars only because I can t give it 10. If you go to Chicago make sure to stop there .
This place is great and they have amazing peach coffee . I orderded the savory style breakfast with fried cstfish and greens and grits and everything was really fresh and very tasty and flavorful also the have like a labtop bar where if you wanna work and order your foid at the same time you can , which is very helpful these days see how a lot of people work from home and cafe spots these days .Needless to say the food was on point. Meaning thumbs up. Enjoy
Anytime I want real breakfast...I recommend to all my family and friends to go to Peaches!!!
Good food. Please note they only split the check twice .
Whoever Amir is. She hung up on me twice. Then I went and stood in line for 30mins for her to tell me she did not place my order. This is unacceptable. I have spent way too much money there. I will never go again.
The service and food was mediocre. Staff seemed not ready to please. My friends steak was unappealing in look and taste. The duck bacon bowl was tasty, thus the 3 star rating.
We all want to support businesses owned or at least run by black folks, but let's face it, the service is usually terrible. ..Not so at Peach's! Everyone is always friendly and attentive. The food is so legit! My mom went nearly everyday while she was visiting and I'm turning into a regular now myself. The menu is limited as it is a breakfast joint, but the options are solid and there are great specials on the weekends. I normally dine alone so the wait is not much of an issue, but this is a great restaurant in the middle of what's practically a food desert and they close at 3:00pm so be real with yourself and allow extra time if you're picky about where you sit or you came with 3 other people on a Sunday! !
Great food! Warm atmosphere and friendly wait staff. We enjoyed the Salmon croquette and cheese grits. The catfish was the bomb! The coffee is good.
I luv their cheesy shrimp grits w/mushrooms! Their fried catfish is sooo crispy, I luv it. But, the filet falls short in size it could be a bit bigger. Also, I really like the collard greens sooo tasty! Needs to have a MUFFIN, PLS! Staff is great as well...Amir, young lady is really sweet and attentive and knows the menu well. I hope I spelled her name correctly . Overall, great place! I was told that there's another location called Peaches Currency Exchange on 55th near green line station with a different vibe like a cafe type place, more modern and upscale. Also, at some point liquor will be served. I will be checking it out soon...can't wait!
Peach coffee is my jam! The duck bowl won't disappoint. I order on Toast and it's ready for pick up.
Food was great. Wait was terrible. Need more staff, it moves slow. Would be a 5 if hosting and speed improve. Definitely worth a visit. Catfish was perfect.
First time customers a bit pricey but food was really good. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty but the steak and eggs was excellent.
