Loved it, nice, clean, very organized, all furbabies look well taken care of.

The Pasadena Humane Society was incredible at helping my beloved grand dog, River - an amazing Whippet - cross the rainbow bridge yesterday. On a traumatizingly sad day, the angels at PHS were so caring, kind, and gentle they instantly became family. From the receptionist, Angela, who was totally empathetic while handling multiple clients and still offering tissues and true compassion; to the sweet vet tech, Vanessa, who treated River as one of her babies . Thank you for lessening our pain and leaving us at peace with your care and compassion. Your forever fans.

This place is the Ritz Carlton compared to LA County shelters. Very organized staff. Parking was tight. Pet owners need to chill - animals don't have manners, they just want to play and explore.

Really horrible service. Phone rang for 10-15 times & no pick up.

I have had good experiences and bad at SPCA, they make it very difficult to adopt animals. We tried and they were very rude by questions they asked our family and our lifestyles. My family walked away feeling interrogated scolded & judged. The older staff weren t very helpful, just rude and short in responding to questions we had about the dogs. The youth that were there made the place feel more welcoming but, unfortunately they weren t allowed to speak when the older staff were around. When I ve found animals who are lost I brought them there and they help them reunite with their owners. The youths that work there make it easy for them to transition. It s nice when shelters realize your trying to help save a life just as they hope to. I wish SPCA never put down animals and were a no kill shelter. That s the saddest part about this place aside from the interview you go through to rescue an animal. Hopefully things change for the better!!

This place is very nice to pets but horrible and I mean horrible to their customers. If your animal is lost or found whatever the case is anybody was at the front is very ill mannered and does not want to understand or listen to you. Only reason I gave it to stars is because the pets were kept in a nice clean place.

Hard to find help. We had a list of dogs to meet after a walkthrough and all were adopted. I guess they take a while to mark the cages. A lot of my time was wasted and I just wanted to rescue a dog. Still no dog.

Horrible place!!. Bunch of crooks!!!. My aunt adopted a dog from there a few months ago. 4years old got good, clean bill of health . fast forward few months the dog dies due to heart failure because of heart problems and enlarged heart. this was something that would've been very clear had PHS done an actual check up. I would be very careful when adopting here. they obviously lie or don't do their job

Plenty of used dogs and cats, plus other weird animals, like the occasional alligator and turtles galore. One day I'll find my German Shepherd there.... but until then, it's like any dog pound - full of Chihuahuas and Pitt bull mixes, and again, like any dog pound, it's obvious that some will not be going home with any sane human. It's well run, but I'm sure they would be very grateful for donations.

The nicest shelter I have seen. If you are interested in adopting then don t miss this place.

Very disappointed in service and refusal to take the dog i found since was found outside Pasadena.

They do such good work, and staff and volunteers tenderly care for the beasts. Plus they have a shelter shop, spay and neuter clinics, and an active volunteer program

Got two of my three dogs here. They are doing a great job!

Such and easy process to adopt our baby kitten, great place. However, I know the pet store funds go to the shelter, I would rather donate because I find the quality of the products don't match the price. I really don't like the litter I got from the store. But overall, good place to adopt!
