The hotel is lcoated in the city center and you reach anything in a few minutes, you have a good connection to public transportation and it takes you only 20min to reach the beach via Tram1. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the breakfast is freating awesome! Nicely done there by the hotel, they have anything you could think of served there.
Terrific location -- a short walk to the Binnenhof and Peace Palace, plus lots of cafes and shops in the area. The room was spacious and comfortable. Air conditioned, free wifi. There is a beautiful park (Paleis Noordeinde) just adjacent.
A great hotel in the city center. Friendly service, tasty breakfasts, pleasant and big rooms and a unique staircase make you want to come back here. One step away from here are the beautiful streets of the old town and all its tourist attractions. It's great for me.

These people may have a hospitality lesson. Location is great, but there are more hospitable hotels in an equally beautiful location. Given the reviews it was a good hotel in the past, but I think the success has fueled the inappropriate arrogant.
Staff at reception are super friendly, rest a little less. The hot water was running out and little pressure on the shower. Television didn't work, but we got compensation for that. Breakfast was reasonable, but breakfast room was very unsociable. Hotel location was good.

Couldn't have been happier to have picked the ParkHotel in Den Haag. Really comfortable rooms, very attentive and caring staff. Central to everything you need to be near i.e restaurants, sights, transport and we even walked to the seaside in nearby Schevenigen.
We had a lovely stay. The Hotel is central, so you have no long distances to museums, shopping and doof areas.

Food is ok like in America, I think. Near my bad on wall was at least 3 strange transparent/white dry "thing". Light from corridor through the door was lightening all night - that was uncamfortable. Tea was not changed at all. OMG! Cattle is full of green water plants!?! Why !?

This is an excellent, quirky hotel near major attractions.
The hotel scored highly for service with pleasant helpful staff, a clean recently refurbished room and an excellent breakfast buffet. An unusual feature is the public sitting room with a simulated log fire and help-yourself tea- and coffee-making facilities. Also appreciated was the wide range of tv channels available in the room.
Our visit was concerned mainly with the art galleries in the region which are easily accessible on foot, by tram or bus. The curious Escher-inspired central staircase of the hotel chimed nicely with a visit to that artist's museum nearby.
Minor criticism could be levelled at inaccurate information about museum passes offered by the front desk, unreliable replenishment of in-room tea and coffee supplies, and night-time noise from the street on Friday and Saturday evening. But these are small price to pay for a stay in one of Den Haag's historic streets almost next door to the palace and its park.

This place only seems to use Foam Mattresses and will not suit everyone, i suffered sleepness nights and back pain because of it. i was promised the Mattress would be changed but it was exactly the same for 4 nights. It doesn't matter how nice a place looks if you can't get a decent sleep. So i rate this Hotel to be decieptful and uncaring. Don't book this hotel unless you know you can sleep ok on Foam as they offer no compromise only lies to fob you off.
Nice old building, rooms may be a little more up to date. Friendly staff and great price would make a great choice for an overnight stay in The Hague

Staff generally professional. Whether you like the hotel depends on whether you like a hotel that looks quite traditional or modern. This falls under the more traditional style. Breakfast buffet is standard. More disappointed upon check out as my credit card authorization was not reversed after check out and I had to call to request an authorization reversal.

The location was great and the breakfast delicious. Only the price of 21.50 euros is much too high. For the money you can get a delicious breakfast for two people everywhere in The Hague. The bathroom was spacious and nicely designed. The room was sufficient for a superior room but not particularly large. The standard room, on the other hand, should be very small. The staff is friendly, if a bit reserved, at least in the breakfast room. Good English skills are required in the hotel. In this hotel nobody wants or can speak German. In itself, that would not be necessary either. In our case with the smelly room, however, communication in German would certainly have been easier for everyone.
We booked a superior double room. Unfortunately, our room (308) smelled very unpleasant (of old, used water). We arrived in the evening and were a bit surprised that the air conditioning was running at full power. It wasn't hot or humid outside. Since we did not perceive the smell as intensely at first or associated it with the fully turned on air conditioning, we simply put it off completely. By the way, these were the only levels that this device still mastered. Full cooling or none at all. We opened the window and left the room to use the evening. When we then entered the "well ventilated" room in the late evening, the smell was much clearer. The night you had the smell of old water constantly in your nose and the next morning it was already disgusting. We then went straight to the front desk and asked for a room exchange. We didn't feel we were being taken that seriously. The front desk clerk sent us the house technician who briefly stuck his head in the air conditioner and found that the smell was not from that. After I mentioned that it smelled of musty water like water damage, he felt a spot on the ceiling and mentioned "previous" water damage here in this room. But that was a long time ago and the blanket is now dry. He then sent housekeeping to us. This employee should now check where the smell is coming from. They even said something about changing mattresses. When the housekeeper was there, he said only flippantly that it was an old hotel, they just smell, but he would clean the room again and the smell would be gone. Of course the smell wasn't gone. We then had to help ourselves with room spray for four days. I understand something different by a four star hotel and a superior room.

The multi-day meeting was well taken care of. Staff were very helpful and helpful during the preparation and during the meeting. Breakfast and lunch were extensive and delicious, the rooms stylish. the stairwell is a real eye-catcher. The rooms are spacious, clean and good.

The bed and the room was too small. The bathroom was very nice. The general feel of the hotel was that its well maintained and kept. I would have gave 4 stars, but I found the bed and rooms too small. Reception was also friendly. I didnt try out breakfast as it was 20 euro. I managed to have big breakfast close to hotel for 10 euros
Love coming here. Hotel is always clean, rooms, bathrooms are clean, beds are comfortable and you get a good night's sleep. The location is close to everything, shopping, museums, tram and train station. Staff at the reception are always happy and friendly and are than happy help you when asked. Love it.

Very nice Hotel in the City Center. Not expensive at all. According to my visitor who stayed at the hotel, the bed was big and very comfortable.
Hotel connects several older buildings in the central area of the city. View on garden of the Noordeinde Palace was quite nice. Breakfast buffet was reasonable, wi-fi coverage almost perfect, stairs ridiculously steep. Hotel was under some sort of renovation at the time of my visit in november 2015 so movement was a bit obstructed.

What a relief to be able to get away for a night in the middle of corona time. And how; we were received very hospitably in this beautiful atmosphere. Our fully renovated room (like all other rooms) was very attractively decorated with a lovely bed. Breakfast the next morning was served to your table and was lacking for nothing. If you still wanted something, you only had to indicate this and it was arranged. To finish, we walked in the palace garden that adjoins the hotel, as well as all kinds of other shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back here!
Beautiful hotel, beautiful location and friendly staff. However, the room was very disappointing. Little space and uncomfortable beds. We didn't pay 100 Euro yet, but we don't think this room deserves the "superior" designation, which is stated in the confirmation.

The hotel itself is nice and the staff friendly and helpful, but my room was very cold (central air conditioning) and they could not give me an extra blanket, there just was not any, which is why I slept poorly, even though I was even sweaty Put on sweatpants to get a bit warmer. The existing ceiling is relatively thin, and for light-freeze like me, not enough.
Booked this 4 star hotel, executive room for 2 nights in this hotel. Very nice and large room for a good price. But the airco didnt work at all. We called the reception but they told us all the rooms were occupied. The next day we could get another room.
The next morning the breakfast was made of old bread. Not so tasty.
At 16.00pm we got the key to another room. The first thing we did was turn on the airco and after 3 hours the room still wasnt cold enough to get some sleep. Guess what: another room without a working airco.
We decided we didnt want to stay another night
At checkout we got the request to pay for the 2th night because we didnt canceled the reservation before 15.00pm. Like that was our fault.
Funfact 1: a friend of us stayed in this hotel the next night, and guess what.... No working airco, and a crappy breakfast.................
Funfact 2: In the first room there was a fan in the room, so they must have known the airco was broken.
It's OK. Looks better on the pictures. Entrance and lobby very nice. In our room was the toilet with the small sink much too small. Water always flowed to the floor while washing. Towel a lot on the floor. For the price it should have been better equipped.
It's very good and confortable for long term stay,it's a home away from home.
The room although small is just right for a single person who plans to work on other things outside of hotel facilities. Rooms are nice with TV, good bed, desk and nice bathroom with bathtub. Buffet breakfast is excellent.

Despite requesting a superior room my room was tiny. I complained and they assured me it was a superior room (probably because it had a safe and a fridge) Otherwise however the hotel is reasonably good.

We booked 2 days in this hotel, but could not stay with our 2 dogs because of strange house rules. The house rules said that only 1 dog is allowed per room and that we should please book another room for the second dog. But our dachshund didn't want that:;

Incredibly poor customer-oriented / customer-friendly hotel: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Once they have their money, they also refuse to act in any way that is customer-oriented and customer-friendly. I have been to work in many hotels for work. In any case, never again!

As part of a romantic night out we booked a suite in the Parkhotel where we specifically booked a room with a hot tub. Due to covid the hotel had contacted us before we departed, but said nothing about the suites not being available because if renovation. After a log drive of almost two hours, the staff at the hotel very coldly mentioned the suite we booked was not available and hasn t been for a while.. what the f.. No appologies, no compensation. They let us wait for almost an hour for them to speak to their general manager without offering a drink or anything. In the end we could get a discount of 25 euro to stay in a normal room that was 100 euro cheaper than the suite we booked. Again, what the.. Unbelievable. We left the hotel disapointed and booked a room across the street. Terrible service, not recommended.
