Park Plaza Airport Amsterdam Review

Service was good.
No fridge in the room.
We had to pay fir Parking.
Breakfast was to expensive.
The room was ok.

The hotel is a really nice place to stay and all the staff is amazing, just one thing.... No gluten free stuff...really?

Room was fine and the service also when I was at the hotel. When service was requested for my visit and unfortunately not so good.

Great spacious hotel/room next to Schipol airport, the tram that takes you to the city cente is 20 mins walking from the hotel, and then 40 mins in the tram, perfect for a stopover in Schipol, not very convenient for the AMS city break, the plus s that they had parking lot (5 eur per night), service was friendly but there is not much else to say about this hotel

The hotel is around a 10 min shuttle ride from the airport. To get into the city you have a choice of 10 min shuttle back to the airport and then 20 min train ride or 10 min walk and 35 min tram ride.
We chose this hotel as we thought it would be a decent quality hotel with easy access to the centre. The hotel is tired and in need of a general refresh in the rooms. Beds were comfy though.
With the train being down between the airport and the city it did make for a long transit to reach the city. Wish we had stayed more centrally.

Very good price/cost ratio. Clean room and good restaurant. Free shuttle to the airport.

We slept very well, excellent breakfast! Nice bar with good rates, close to the center and easy to reach! Recommend!

The suites are nice but the regular rooms are not that nice. King = 2 doubles pushed together. Service in the restaurant is terrible and expensive

Much further outside of Amsterdam than we thought. The Navi had it not easy to find, because some roads were locked unfavorably and BMW probably knew nothing about it. But it was worthwhile to arrive. The restaurants in the hotel are nice and the food tastes good. The breakfast rich (the buffet is not filled up to the end and just on Sundays and holidays, if you do not want to be at breakfast for 9 on the mat already a bit can be eaten). The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. We felt completely comfortable. The parking situation one would wish at other hotels in this generosity. Oh yes, there are charging car parks for vehicles that rely on electricity.

Staff have all been very lovely, with one in particular giving tips on where to go, the free airport shuttle is a godsend. One small thing, they have coffee cups in the cupboards, but no milk in the fridge. And my first room was without a iron. Other then those two things. It's been an enjoyable stay

Wonderful hotel to stay and also a great location to hold a large event. They have an amazing gym and it's really close to the airport. Your stay also includes a very nice bus to and from the airport!!!

*You will receive a friendly welcome at the reception, the staff are very helpful and help you on your way to your room in a friendly and professional way.
*The hospitality staff are varying from very friendly to blunt, unprofessional and clearly out of place in a managerial role.
*The food was of poor quality this time if there was already something to buy. The breakfast buffet was half the size, diversity and quality compared to previous times.
*The silence on the hallways and staircases in the rooms is great. You can sleep peacefully here even if your neighbors have ideas .
*The wellness is clean, tidy and with a sauna, steam sauna, hot-cold showers and a relaxation room great to unwind completely.
*The tanning beds are good and the fitness is neat, clean, modern and very extensive.

The rooms were okay for the price however the customer service leaves much to be desired. I paid for a late checkout but had a really rude and angry receptionist call me 4h prior to my checkout asking me why i wasn't out of the room yet. The room service also knocked on my door daily asking me if i wanted my room cleaned though i had already hung a "do not disturb" sign there. Please give your staff some training.

Nice neat hotel with good breakfast ( 12 per person). No laundry selfservice. Rooms are a bit cold with a dumb thermostat. Fitness room is nice.

The location of this hotel is picturesque with a water body next to it, the breakfast was decent. They have cycles for rental but I have never managed to get one. They are always all booked. They were generous to us and gave us two rooms instead of a single triple sharing room so kudos to them. I would love to visit again someday.

I stayed at the Park Plaza Amsterdam hotel. It was a comfortable place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the airport for an early flight.

Poor service all the way through! The spa should first be switched on ie you have to wait over a 1 before the sauna gets hot. Called reception 5 times and asked them to turn on the dam but it never succeeds. The restaurant was bland food, salad too old, the meat like rubber. Plus cleaning one in the room at 7 in the morning. Not so nice when you want to sleep on your day off.

Great hotel near the airport. Good rooms, quiet and quite large. Excellent breakfast, maybe a little expensive and a good restaurant. It has a bar suitable for small business meetings. Free shuttle

Excellent hotel, very comfortable. The attention of the staff is very good, some even speak Spanish. An extra point to take into account, is that it is in the vicinity of the Schipol airport.

Very poor room service.
When we came back we found the room not cleaned at all with no replacement of towels and dispensaries. When I asked the room service why it was not cleaned, they said we asked not to be disturbed, which is clearly a lie. The maids came up with spare towel and bad attitude, still claiming there was the sign hung up on the doorknob. We did not put a finger on the sign which stayed by the bed when we left the room AND when we came back the room. No apologies or compensations. Unbelievable.

Nice and clean. The mobile charging station is surprisingly not free. It provides charge, but to lock the cabinet so your phone is secured from theft costs an euro. The snack (everything in the fridge, includes still water bottles) are also additional cost.

Only one sauna was functioning, there is no pool and they did not treat me well at reception

Very spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Great service and very attentive. The breakfast is the best I've seen, very complete and varied.

I'll definitely submit a full review once our stay is over. Thus far, pretty good despite the painting going on.

The hardware equipment is good, the room layout design and size are comfortable.

Quite a way from the center but great value and nice rooms

We had an executive room which was perfect for a family, with enough space for an extra sofa bed and cot, also had a large desk and fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable. Cons were it overlooked the games room so couldnt open curtains made it feel claustrophobic and you could hear the noise from it, and the sinks an showers werent clean enough round edges, not difficult to clean just hasn't been done.

Unfortunately, this was a case of mis-advertising. On the website are photos of a swimming pool, which they unfortunately do not have. The steam bath did not work. The showers next to the steam bath were hardly or not at all adjustable in temperature. The room was okay, walls had black smears and the lamps were crooked. The TV was broken (a blue line ran across the screen). Beds were not comfortable, recommend to check the IKEA for real quality. The 2 stars stem from the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.

So close to airport .but so far from amstrdam central..it is really nice and beautiful environment feeling relaxed when I stayed at park plaza hotel. Very respectful staff.

Rooms, hotel and staff were lovely but this was so far from Amsterdam. The shuttle bus to the airport and then the train into the city killed a lot of the vibe. It took ages A taxi cost around 50 euro.

If you ran a bus service directly into Amsterdam and back, even once or twice a day, I would consider staying again.

Very easy airport transport with departure from the airport/ hotel every half hour.

Welcome, the hotel offers a bar with fireplace and comfortable sofas, open until 1am. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for 2. The necessities are there, kettle, coffee etc, as well as bath and ironing board with iron. Access is easy from the highway, parking available. In short, a good stay.

Nice room, nice breakfast, nothing extraordinary but very nice. Loved the detail of offering us a bottle of water upon check-in

4 star hotel with a 5 minute stroll, total customer care and a very good structure!
