Good hotel and excellent location, centrally located and 2 minutes from the subway. Very good breakfast. Room service is correct, but be careful not to press the sleep button on the panel as it will not make room for you.

We went for the Indian Afternoon Tea which was a birthday treat. Whilst the food was nice, the customer service was very poor. Due to IT issues the receptionist did not record our booking and they blamed the error on us when we arrived. This was quite upsetting. They left us unattended for an hour waiting for afternoon tea. Service was not only rude, but poor. For example, we asked for a spoon and we never received it. Our tea arrived after an hour, once all our food had been finished. I sadly would not recommend this experience.

Amazing Indian afternoon tea! Came here with a voucher and from walking in everything has been perfect. The food is wonderful, great flavours, and a lovely mix. Staff have been friendly and attentive, i like the faux grass table runners and the choice of tea. My dietary requirements were taken care of and the whole thing ran like clockwork. I'm seriously thinking of coming again next weekend.

Service, service, service. Always prompt, always smiling. Yes, the rooms are small as most London hotel rooms are. They upgraded me into a club room when I didn't like the first one, inspite of me being a single traveler. The housekeeping service was found lacking on one occasion, but on complaining was sorted out immediately. All the requests from housekeeping to room service are routed through their reception, and it works! And very efficiently at that. I stayed here a week, lots of eating joints nearby and Earls Court underground a really short walk away. The Indian restaurant they have served authentic Indian food. This hotel was a last minute choice for me, but I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely visit again.

Went for Indian afternoon tea. Experience was below average. Glad I didn't pay full price and would definitely not gift to parents. Didn't feel there was enough food and no extras offered. Tea served at the very end once all the food is finished and taken away. Was very difficult to drink. Indian tea is always served with sweet or savory. They were far to busy. We ended up leaving most of the tea and walking away.

The Park Grand London Kensington hotel is very comfortable and in a great location of London. It's less than 8mins walk to Earls Court underground station. Its close to lots of shops and supermarkets.

The great experience was when dealing with the front desk team (Aijaz, Dave, Joe & Mario), the night shift team. They were very helpful, understanding and very kind. We arrived late evening, we were tired, but the welcoming was outstanding. They know the true value of customer satisfaction and service. I really appreciate all the staff specially Aijaz. Thank you!

Great place to stay!

As a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday last October I initially booked a room with the Park Grand Hotel Kensington. When we arrived around 1 am, we were told that there was some maintenance going and that our room wasn't available for us. Therefor they asked us how we would feel about being transferred to an other hotel, right in the middle of the city for the same price as we paid for the room at Park Grand Kensington. We didn't had to think about it and while the hotel manager gave us a complimentary glass (it looked more like a bottle each) of wine, we waited for the complimentary taxi who brought us to the Marble Arch By Montcalm. The front office employees were very kind and brought us to our room. The only disappointment I experienced was the size of the room. It was so small! But over all, the experience of being in London and the location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Marble Arch. and Park Grand Kensington! (And especially the nightmanager from Park Grand at the 8th/9th October who welcomed us that night and made us completely feel like home!)

the absolute worst possible service I've ever rec'...

the absolute worst possible service I've ever rec'd from any hotel in the world. I book my reservation, with the incorrect check in date . No one, not even the manager would agree to make a modification of the date, without losing my entire $2000 prepaid amount. They lied to me and said the hotel was sold out, but I was able to go on line and book another reservation. The reservation office had me call three days in a row to speak to a manager , who never returned my calls. They were rude at every interaction , including the front desk manager Martin. I travel extensively and this hotel is a zero out of 5. They have no concept of customer service and frankly don't care what so ever.

Staying the weekend. We were given a basement room. The room was of a good standard, slightly small but well furnished and comfortable. The sound insulation between the rooms however is poor. It's very easy to be disturbed by other guests. The breakfast is good with a wide selection of choices.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are somewhat small if you're used to American hotel rooms but about normal for London. On a quiet street that has a few good pubs nearby. Earl's Court station is just a few minutes walking away, and you can get to anywhere you'd want to visit from there.

Bed that sank so badly at the head end that I had to sleep with my feet at headboard end. Moths. Holes in carpet where moths had eaten it. Inexplicably wet carpet. Rogue pubic hair and hair shavings in bathroom (not mine). Damp smell. No window. Horrible experience. Will not be staying again.

Excellent hotel!

Excellent hotel!
Great location (one train line from Heathrow Airport and train station 2 minutes walk from the hotel).
Very courteous service from all staff.
The room is of a high standard.
And ... if you are marking an event, such as an anniversary or birthday, we have updated the staff at the hotel ahead of time and they will take care to surprise you properly.
Well done to them!

I am totally and happily satisfied with my stay at Park Grand London Kensington.
The hotel is very close to Earl's Court tube station, giving you the possibility to be in the center in no time.
It is also possible to reach the first places on foot, thus starting your tour. I would add that the Museum of Natural History is not far from the hotel.
The hotel turned out to be extremely clean, well organized and comfortable. The staff at the reception (specifically Oriana and Mira) proved to be very professional and helpful from the beginning, helping us throughout our stay and making themselves available by printing us the tickets for the return plane.
The room was very clean and welcoming, the bathroom was spacious, clean and with a shower.
Present in the room: microwave oven, iron, kettle, face and body towels.
In the room it is always possible to find bottles of water (replenished every day), fresh fruit, tea bags.
I recommend trying the breakfast in the hotel, for those who did not do it at the time of booking it is possible to add it later at a good price.

The same goes for the staff at the entrance, extremely kind and helpful, especially David.

Well what to say, we will definitely return to London and will certainly continue to stay at Park Grand London Kensington.

Thanks again to all the staff ... keep it up !!!

Highly recommended.

Very disappointing...
Unattentive, Scruffy staff that we're too busy worrying about the text messages they were receiving on their mobile phones.
Being Punjabi myself, I could see that the venue was catering for the non-asian that may not always know what the various dishes are supposed to be like. The only redeeming fact it was that their ginger chai reminded me of my nan and the way she used to make it.

Great location 150m from Earls Court station. Several nearby restaurants including McDonnalds, KFC, Starbucks, various Pubs, pharmacies, laundromats and supermarkets.

Hotel staff helpful. Clean, great size, delicious full English breakfast in a clear and pleasant setting!

It's good if you can get a deal on the room rate by booking direct with the hotel. Avoid basement rooms. Breakfast is unimaginative. 'Full English' is boring if you stay in hotels as much as I do and should be cooked to order: it doesn't keep well. Hotel is clean, rooms well-equipped, if on the small side, staff keen to please.

Good location, very convenient for Earls Court tub...

Good location, very convenient for Earls Court tube station which is literally at the end of the road, 2 or 3 minutes walk away. Despite this however, the street itself is quiet.

We stayed in one of the larger rooms (not the most expensive but not the cheapest either) - pricier than the Premier Inn or Travelodge nearby but certainly a lot more space for the money (the standard rooms not so much maybe judging by other reviews). Definitely room to swing a cat! Room was on the second floor overlooking the street and we didn't hear much noise from inside or outside.

Bed was enormous and very comfortable. Room well equipped with everything you'd need, minibar (ridiculously overpriced so best avoided) with fridge, microwave, kettle etc, large TV on wall opposite bed with freeview channels.

For the price and the 4 star rating you expect luxury and attention to detail but I wouldn't quite call this a luxury hotel. It's certainly a decent hotel and I would probably go back, but it was let down in a few small areas for us at least.

The window in our room wouldn't shut properly and obviously needed repairing but the member of staff (handyman) who came to look at it didn't seem bothered and told us it was 'no problem'. When I said I was concerned about possible street noise he didn't seem to understand (his English seemed fairly poor) and told us to turn up the temperature on the air con!?! We ended up stuffing tissues round the gap and in the end it wasn't really a problem but you expect better than that in the first place really.

The toilet had no lid which isn't very hygeinic when flushing, and the bathroom was set up for full disabled access which is great if you're disabled but we aren't so not quite so ideal (very high toilet with tiny low sink right next to it, handrails, emergency pull-cord etc. Large wetroom style ahower area with very low shower. Nowhere to hang bath towels (just one small handrail for hand/face towels) and one of the towels had definitely seen better days and felt like sandpaper.

Cream tea was average. Scones were more like stones, despite being seemingly baked in house. Service was nice, friendly and accommodating. Sandwiches were Massive. Not typical finger sandwich size. Would have been nice to have an outdoor area to sit on a nice day.

Earls Court is going through an interesting time as they demolish the legendary exhibition and event spaces, and this means hotels in the area are working harder I think. PGLK has some quite compelling deals and benefits.

The reception was friendly and helpful, and put me straight when I confused room 009 for 09 (yep, really!). I'm sure they get that a lot... Puzzling layout so accept the offer of being shown to your room if suggested!

Room was small (it's a London hotel, rooms are small in general) but I've had smaller, and it was well appointed with some comp water and fruit, good TV, spacious shower, AC and heating, etc. Even had a microwave, which is certainly not usual and was a nice touch if you're staying a while. Seemed to be well cleaned, which is essential for me.

If I was staying in the area again, I'd be quite happy to return.
