Location was great and the hotel was nice, the front desk staff was very rude, sneaky and unfortunately ruined the entire hotel experience for our party of 4 travelers. English speaking tourists BEWARE if you don't speak Portuguese when dealing with the front desk.
Beautiful rooms with expansive views of the river. We stayed in the annex building and the rooms were so tastefully decorated. Perfect location to explore the city!
Fantastic view from over the river. We loved the juxtaposition of the modern furnishings with the centuries-old stone walls in the room. A special bonus was watching a seagull sitting on her nest on a nearby roof.

A tasteful, intimate, romantic hotel located right on the river. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Nice service. I would recommend. In addition, delicious breakfasts. The rooms are large, bright and very clean.
Staying in river bank in the center part or the most visited part of the city is a totally different experience to the others. Please try to sit on the top of the walls of Ribeira (the cafe of the hotel is over there, and there are also a number of dining places to choose). There are wonderful singers, energetic people, and unforgettable sunset. One must feel relax and joyful if s/he sits there for dinner. If it is a couple, it would be very romantic.

Hotel with great location in Porto. Well decorated rooms, breakfast and bar facing the Douro River and attentive staff. Highlight for the extremely friendly and helpful staff member Andreia with great tips. The wi-fi could be better, but everything else is very good.
The hotel provides excellent river view in the crowded area. The room quality and space are very impressive. It is no doubted that it earns high score from the online booking service. The breakfast is great and we enjoyed the meal pretty well.
Be careful to book this hotel if you don't have an alternative accomodation! We have been in contact several times before arriving and the night before the reception cancelled our confirmed booking on us. We had to leave Porto as similar accomodation was all sold out for the weekend. Will never book this place again.

Nice little hotel next to Duoro river. Entrance is interior so hard to spot. Interior is very nice and a full kitchen but I wonder why you need one if you only stay for short time and with that price I doubt you stay longer in that place and need to cook.

Hotel lovely well located but terrible management service. Principal Andrea does not know how to deal with guests and puts them in a vexatious and humiliating situation. The hotel does not provide information on luggage reception services on the partner's website or app. Bad service for people with reduced mobility. In addition to having been greeted with bloodstained bed sheets or something like that, door with lock problems and safe not working. Manager Andrea has placed us in a vexatious position by using gimmicks to defend herself so as to blame us for the lack of information on the services offered and not offered by the hotel. The manager is absolutely inelegant and does not treat the guest with the usual precautions and protocols. Be careful staying at this hotel while under this management!
Great location. Large, beautiful room! I gave it 4 stars because the service was not the greatest. We called about parking and they told us to check in and they would help us. Well, you can t drive to the riverfront and we got stuck on a street with a popup up barricade. In the middle of traffic. They should have directed us to the parking garage that s 5 minutes away. Would ve saved us a bunch of stress. If you stay here, get ready for a great stay, but park at one of the many parking lots or garages instead of driving to the hotel first. Also, don t count on the toothpaste they mention in the guest services book

Side rooms are very bad, definitely book with a river view, otherwise you look directly at a wall. Gintonic tastes very bad (mix way too much gin), better order somewhere else.
Location is very good. Breakfast: location perfect with appropriate ambience. Breakfast itself is good to very good.

We stayed in Porto River apartments for 10 days and we were very satisfied with the room, service and friendliness of all the hotel employees. The location is excellent, and the view then, not to mention, is stunning. Grade 10 for the whole team and grade 1000 for Manager Andreia. Thank you for the affection and care

Wonderful hotel... The rooms are just amazing and with a excellent good decoration. Simple but comfortable. The place is really close to Ribeira do Douro. The only small issue is the car parking, which need to be a bit far away from the hotel. The hotel has not park in.

Porto river apartments are the perfect escape from bustling Porto. Space was large, clean, and comfortable enough. Quiet when the windows are shut and in the middle of the action when open. This hotel is made for the independent traveler and should be treated more like an apartment. Do not rely on concierge for much for than directions or basic recommendations. There is a small market around the corner for filling the kitchen, uber for car service and restaurants near by.

Must be the hardest bed ever. Great location. Friendly staff and decent breakfast offering. If your staying here for a few nights. Good luck fitting all your items in the closet. It's very limited space. I used a stool as a shelf. :)
The town of Porto was wonderful as it was a waste of only one night, and this hotel was in the center, the location was well located, there was a square as soon as I went out, the room was large and very comfortable.
We stayed at this boutique apartment hotel for several days, and preferred a back apartment, much quieter! We had delightful views of roof tops, local people's windows and alleys. The rooms and bed were very comfortable. The building is very old, but beautifully restored using a modern theme. Floorboards can be creaky, but that's part of the charm.
The hotel is in the tourist part of Ribeira, so in the busy part of the river front. Buskers play/sing their music (mostly good) quite loudly, during the day and into the evening. Lots of cafes and restaurants. So a very lively place.
A 5-10minute walk to a laundromat, hop-on hop-off buses, little supermarkets, shops. Walking distance to the main tourist attractions.
The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. Booked a restaurant for us, with a river view, helped us with posting a parcel back to Australia, and gave us good general advice about getting around. Good level of English too.
The cleaning staff were fantastic. Friendly, smiling & helpful, everything cleaned beautifully everyday.
Breakfasts were simple and fresh, loved the scrambled eggs and pancakes. So good to sit outside in the morning sun overlooking the river and even the dining room was bright & fresh with French doors opening onto the balcony.

Great location and great breakfast buffet. Rooms are very good. What bothered me personally was that the mattress langam was through and the staff constantly blocked the lift or needed so the customer had to wait. Does not mean that I would not book again. Have otherwise been very much trouble
Elegant and discreet. In the center of ribeira. You can not get in the car after 11am.
