I don't quite get it why carrots are not allowed here to feed the animals. You have to buy their own animal food for $2.5 per box, which by the way, most of the animals don't give a f..k. The transparent tunnel in the lion section is awesome though.

Quite ordinary as a place! I went this year and last year and they tell me that the wave pool is defective etc (in my case they did not give me new tickets for the problem and I read on this site that some had tickets for compensation and I even complained and answers quite ordinary from them! The site is poorly maintained, really neglected! No rides, just inflatable games! My children also very disappointed! No more going back! Long live the Granby Zoo, a well maintained place and water bodies on!
For the safari park a chance that there is the journey by car! Much too expensive!

Place is fantastic. Everything was nice. I missed an elephant there and the fact COVID required some special attention with animals and the limitation which we couldn't feed the animals and make them get close the cars was a negative point which I can't put on the place's account. Structuctely the place was perfect and big enough to spend the day. Really recommend it and I hope could get back again one day.

A very interesting experience! The entrance to the park is a bit slow! Plan to arrive early! For example if the opening is at 10am, I recommend arriving 40 minutes before you will be in the first to have access to the park! The animals are very friendly! I recommend bringing salad because the one sold on the site is expensive! Start by driving around and after walking around !! A beautiful day is waiting for you!

In general it is good, but for the price not a lot of animals, the water in the pool was brown green, and a lot of place was under renovation so we did not have access to everything and on the site it was is not well indicated by where we should go to go around all

Im here right now with my daughter and a monkey- a baby monkey started drowning. They basically acted like freaking snails trying to do something after I was yelling that a monkey is drowning. She took a while to call people to come help- they strolled in after 8 minutes slowly looking as if they couldn't even give a care in the world. Stood and stared at the water with a shovel and broom. I was saying the baby monkey will die- the useless lady told me they can breathe long underwater lol- yes they are equivalent to whales- like I'm going to believe that. The monkey is dead. A whole ton of people saw this super sad moment happen. My daughter and I are very VERY DISSAPOINTED.

Was hugely disappointed with this place. It really looks run down. The animal enclosures are really small. The green algae in all the water holes was awful. The bird exhibit was just horrible, the birds look super stressed. The water park wasn t open. I don t recommend this place at all; over priced for what it is.

Parc Safari is a zoo where the hook is the safari ...

Parc Safari is a zoo where the hook is the safari aspect. When you arrive at the park, there is a road you can take to see pack of animals such as buffalos, camels, antelopes, etc. That will come to your car. You can feed them salad or grains (sold on the spot).

They also added an attraction thats an expedition in an open truck to get closer to animals such as giraffes with a guide.

The inside of the park is a pretty standard zoo, perhaps a bit on the smaller side. You do not take the whole day to visit the animal side of the park (tho there are a few long waiting lines).

This place is most ideal for families who want to take part of the day to chill at one of the aquaparks/pools.

Right now (Summer 2019) the site is having renovations, so one of the aquatic attraction is closed as well as some sode things. I was given free tickets to come another day for that reason.

There are a few places to eat at. Its average. The price depends. For instance for 10$ you can get a combo. However you might pay 5$ for an ice cream or 3$ for a beverage. Theres also an area where you can pic-nic.

I would suggest going to see the animals towards the end of the afternoon or early morning (if you arrive for opening hours at 10). When the sun is fully out and its hot, the animals are sleepy, move less and lay in the shadows (who could blame them!)

Look out for some familial and educational activities here and there.

Very nice experience that lunch with the lions!
We loved all of the tours and activities. The fact of having been there in autumn is rather interesting: there are less people!

Came here to post my negative feedback for the experience at the zoo but saw there is no need for it - others have done it for me!
If you notice, Safari failed to address questions, comments and concerns raised by their MULTIPLE customers. I believe nothing can better demonstrate their lack of care and unprofessionalism in business.

Prayers in public spaces must stop, it's gone to sugar shack, mcdo, safari park, to work ... When I go to the safari park it is to see the animals. Not a kneeling group praying to Allah, on speakers.

My daughter felt very bad 1 hour after we arrived ..
So I went to the administration because I came from far away and the entrance to the park is not given let's say it!
I explained the situation and asked if it was possible to leave and have a pass or discount for another day
I was told no .... I know there are people who abuse everything but we weren't.
- the wave pool is a real joke ... and besides, you have the impression of being in a water park when you enter the site
- animals are not put forward
The ideal is to buy a family pass, because it is impossible to see everything and try everything in one day

Dilapidated and fallen park.

Dilapidated and fallen park.

The aquatic section is particularly dirty, the pools are overcrowded with unruly children and left unattended. I did not even let mine soak my feet because it was so dirty. The surfaces are sticky and strewn with waste (packaging and food) and the water heated with urine has a milky tint.

The toilets are clogged and just as poorly maintained. The few rides are outdated, tarnished and clearly dangerous.

The car circuit is only an endless wait in bumper to bumper traffic. People are fighting to lure the few miserable beasts out of their windows with banned food and finally take tasteless photos with their cell phones. The animals are taken by storm, the cars remain on the spot indefinitely, some block the road to the others without any consideration and ignore all the regulations. A sad sight to behold.

On the whole the installations are aging, the configuration has become disjointed, the animals are jaded, a large slice of the visitors lacks good manners and the vision given to the site has been lost over time. Too bad, because I loved coming here as a child, but their standards have deteriorated to such an extent that this now low-end park only attracts pignouf customers.

Great place for families. Go for a visit, you can convert your one-time ticket to a season pass and those are definitely worth it. We've been season holders for 3 years and haven't had a single regret. There are specialized event days, great water parks and animated shows focusing on individual animals. Definitely a good place for a family outing.

Very disappointed there were almost no animals, the end to be done in the car was to contemplate nothingness.
As for walking, not a lot of animals, very long walk for nothing and big lack of directions.
I recommend not keeping your money.

Several attractions under construction when I went. There are fewer animals in the Adventure Safari than before, the wave pool is messy from the ferrous water (according to an employee on site) and the water is EXTREMELY cold. ALL of the employees, bar none we met, didn't seem to like their jobs, they all looked dumb.

On the other hand, despite the work on site, the site is clean and there were not many customers so it went very quickly and we can focus on the attractions. The new Afrika section is great, the world map painted on the floor with different colors to represent the countries is just beautiful. Of course, what makes the STRONG POINT of the Safari Park is the Safari Adventure.

Despite these small positive points, I will not be returning. For me, the Granby Zoo is much better organized and has a much greater variety of activities.

This place was very unique. Very intimate and up close experience with animals. Place is definitely run down and low budget. It needs alot of work, but the animals made up for all that. The Lions are gorgeous and there are over 15 of them. They are very close to you and it was very cool. Tons of monkeys, and they even had hyennas. The drive through portion was cool as well. The camel's were really the only animal that were interactive. The giraffe are interactive but you must get out and walk to get to them. The place is hard to find and in the middle of nowhere, but Overall worth the money!

I take my kids every year or two and as always the zoo is amazing animals are fun and well taken care of the staff is helpful and informative. This year the water park was a miss however. We always love the lazy river but not so much anymore. Water was low and very slow kept getting stuck on the down stream. Also you had to go get your own tube from the end of the river and walk it up yourself. Kind of tricky with three small kids. And the walk was hot on the feet like lava walking. So two trips was my cutoff this year and we moved over to the new wave pool. The wave pool was cool but once again the new tile they put down for the walk up to the pool are gray black and worst then the river walk. Super hot and made my baby girl cry. I still love this place but not $125 worth anymore it is more like Zoo then a Zoo / water park now. I will go back for the animals but rethink the water park as the animals are more for me as an adult and the kids care more about the water park part. I hope to hear that they have made big changes by next season so I can keep them in my vacation plans.

Very nice large park. The only negative is that the clerk at the gate didn't warn us that the giraffe walkway was closing at 6:00 PM. Disappointing when we don't have the information. He only told us that the park closed at 7:00 PM. Other than that we had a lovely day watching the animals.

We went with the kids to enjoy the new water park promised for the summer of 2019 on the park's website. After 3 hours drive and we see signs that indicates that the attraction is closed. In fact they are still under construction. A big disappointment. False advertising

Very disapointed ! We pay full price for access to the site which is practically all closed. He only advises us on arrival that the closed windows must be rolled up. Don't waste your money. It's not worth going there right now.
