Stayed there 4 nights in feb. Our room was not ready and we were told to get a free upgrade and they charged us the fee!!!??? I felt staffs at the front desk were unprofessional and so rude! When u ask something they give u all different answers. I guess they are not trained at all. We stayed in 2 different rooms , both old fashioned with outdated furniture. Water presser was so low it took me long time to wash my hair and shower. Only good thing about this hotel is location.

This hotel. This hotel does not have room service. It is not for those who are frightened by homeless people (fon't go west from the hotel.) On the upside, it has the feel of an upscale hotel and the bed was comfy a/f, I literally looked at my bed longingly in the morning as I left for work. The attached photo was intended to look like me and my buddy are at a historical landmark, but it is in fact the car park for the hotel.

The restaurant here is great. You have a few options for breakfast and dinner nearby, but I'd recommend reading up on the immediate area if you're visiting from out of town.

Powell BART, cable cars, a bus stop, and the inevitable street musician are all conveniently located across the street.

If this hotel happens to be available at a price close to other hotels in the area -- Union Square or Downtown San Francisco, grab it. Unlike older hotels that claim to be three and a half or four star on Tripadvisor, Expedia, and similar sites, Parc 55 is a modern, clean, and gem of a building. It is well located, being one block from Bart, Muni, and the Powell Street Streetcar line. It is right near Union Street shopping -- and clean and well maintained. If the Westin St. Francis (which is one block away) is available at the same price, I would chose that, but if you look, you will see that this place is usually well below that in cost. This is just a superior hotel at a great price.

Great place to stay! Hotel room is huge! Easily one of the best hotels to stay in SF. I found the beds and pillows are really comfortable to sleep in!

Hotel staff are pretty friendly.

As we know there s heaps of homeless wanders on the streets, security can be an issue when night falls. However I did witness the security personnel doing their job at the lobby, escorting one homeless lady out of the lobby while she went out screaming at random hotel guests. Security checked!

Although SF downtown is turning to $hit quicker than any other world city, this place provides an oasis where you can forget about what's going on outside for a bit. Friendly staff, good eats, and comfortable well appointed rooms at a reasonable rate warrant a for star rating.

We loved this place! Everyone is super accommodating and nice! Our concierge Rob was everything helpful! He was attentive and made us feel supported while there! Must stay place with good location and delicious breakfast buffet!

The hotel staff is very kind. Upon check in the gentleman at the front desk told me the room I selected didn't have a great view and switched me to a corner room with a great view! The staff also seems to compliment you every chance they get which is a nice touch to the overall experience. I definitely recommend a corner room if possible. You'll get a great view of the city due to the wall of windows on each side of the room. We did however have a situation with the shower. On the second night after having already used the shower once, the water was brown for the first few seconds which caught us off guard (eewww). I don't recommend eating or drinking at the hotel as it's over priced. Drinks didn't live up to the cost. All in all it's a nice hotel, with a nice staff, in a nice location.

I spent 2 nights here while I was on a business trip. I couldn't enjoy the amenities but the room was huge and super nice. The views from my floor were great, the room had a big TV, WiFi, Air-conditioning and it was immaculate. The hotel is in a superb location, BART is 1-minute walk and lots of places around to visit.

The rooms are already expensive for the lack of amenities, it is also $70 a night to park on site. There is a lack of efficiency with the staff. Took a very long time for our luggage to get to our room. The gym is very nice. Overall it is ok for single guests or couples but 3 or more I would suggest against as the beds are tiny and the double bed room has no room to move at all.

A very pleasant surprise to find this Michelin rated restaurant in a hotel. Service was good and the food excellent. Only downer was that we found ourselves yelling to each other just to be heard above all the noisiness of all the customers. But don't forget, I said the food was excellent!

Terrible! Staying for 3 nights and originally booked a corner king deluxe room to stay away from the elevators. AC was broken and woke up to 85 degrees. They moved me to a downgraded room, right next to the elevators, so no sleep night 2. Next they move me, next door to my co worker, who is in a corner king deluxe room, where I am in a smaller room now. So basically, had to move room 3 times and was downgraded each time, wonderful. I don't expect this from a Hilton.

Update: reached out per the response to this review and was ignored.

Excellent location in the city, but few stars for the staff, even too detached, and for the ubiquitous carpeting in the rooms. Avoid the very expensive breakfast we had at a very welcoming Chinese bar nearby.

Nice hotel. Seemed clean. Sleeping accommodations smaller than advertised. For example the pull out couch was not big enough to fit my two kids. They were nice enough to give us a cot when we questioned it. Parking cost very high and even higher for those staying than those not staying at hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Attentive staff. There is a large contingent of transient individuals that hit you up for money when you are about 5 steps out of the hotel. This is a SF issue. We gave food.

Diana made the experience amazing! After getting lip from a gentleman at the front desk for absolutely no reason, Diana stepped in and went above and beyond to make our stay here memorable. If it wasn't for her it would have received 2 or maybe even 1 star. The rooms are okay, way overpriced for what you get. But you are honestly paying for the location, because I can get nicer rooms for a 3rd of the price a few miles away from uniun square. Bathrooms are seriously lacking for a place that should have top of the line amenities. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. Ever.

It's ok, the front desk gentleman checking is tried to upsell us but we weren't staying long and we had a small child. He offered the guests ahead of us all these free amenities but didn't offer us anything, which made me conclude that he was flirting with the girl. He continued to try and waste our time while our kid is deathly tired from the flight and we were 4 hours past his bed time. SMH.

Superb location, right in the city centre. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Nearest mall is Westfield Nordstrom. Room is big and nice. Those staying high floor not to worry. Lifts are fast and well organized. Reception is on the 2nd level.

The room was clean, however the windows let a lot of noise through, so it was hard to sleep because I kept hearing cars honking. They also put me in a room with a smaller bed than anticipated.

Excellent spot to stay in San Francisco. It is on a prime location very close to everything in the Market st area and easy access to subway and trolleys to explore the city. Nightly rate is on the high side but it is worth it once you realize you save a lot of time on traveling and walking around.

This hotel is very clean and the location is ideal......200 ft from the Bart! The staff is very accommodating and the security is always friendly and present. Although the hotel isn't exactly brand new it is well maintained. I will stay here again on my next SF trip.

Amazing customer service and views. We stayed during the Christmas holidays and this was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Cozy beds, speedy service, I definitely had no complaints.

Attended with a group - fun place. We had lunch and afternoon beverages. Very upbeat & lively open pub experience and staff very friendly and upbeat as well. Location is just around the corner from the beach which makes it extra desirable!

Good hotel. Love the lift, where you entered the floor before entering the elevator, and then you were told which elevator you should go to. However, minus is the expensive parking, which is around $ 63 a day.

Be careful with the Hilton Parc 55. While the rooms, frequently discounted to $200/night, appear on the surface to be good deals for a four star hotel, there are a number of serious problems. First, the hotel is extremely limited service: it has no room service, and its lobby restaurant was far too small for a hotel of its size, making meals a problem. Second, the rooms were dingy, tiny, and without modern amenities like USB outlets and netflix via TV. Third, the listing shows a pool but there is no pool at the hotel itself, instead a shabby and small pool at the Hilton across the street. Fourth, and finally, the neighborhood outside the hotel feels like a zombie apocalypse given the drug and crime problems surrounding the building. The only saving grace is that there is an exceptional Thai restaurant in the building. It has no relationship with the hotel, however, and the hotel staff were unable to help get seating there.

Went to Kin Khao restaurant. The food was very good. Restaurant service was very good also. Hotel bathrooms were for guests only (including of the restaurant) though which caused a lot of confusion and hassle.
