I found the soccer shoes I needed for training. I think Paragon is better than Models or Dick s. They have all of the things they have but with better customers service.

The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a few services that other sports stores might not provide.

Extensive collection of athletic clothes and gear of all sorts. Can be crowded but the checkout lines move quickly.

Maybe more expensive than other places and when the store is full you can forget getting a lot of help - however they have a huge selection and it is very conveniently located (at least from my home-base). Got a great winter-coat and certainly still paid less than back home in Europe. I'd come again.

My favorite store with ski equipment. Great selection of running shoes backpacks and tents. Look for items on sale, some brands can be pricey. Overall, you can't go wrong with Paragon

I came here and caught a very good special on my New Balance walking shoe. Quality merchandise! Not like many others who are definitely selling defective material. I'll be coming here from now on.

Absolutely horrible experience just now. Helpful floor staff, but the point of sale completely ruined it for me. I will not be going back again.

I tried to buy a pair of running socks but their system would not accept my debit card since it doesn't have a chip yet. I asked them to just run it as credit same bank account but I don't think she did. It was probably confusing because I was using a gift card from the store. Either way I asked them to just return my balance onto my gift card or just manually punch in the numbers. The lady called the supervisor over and said out loud this guy doesn't have 8 bucks in a condescending tone. This was my first and last time in the store.

My card worked all day everywhere your system and customer service ruined my day.

Paragon shouldn't be open during the pandemic as they only have selected items. There's is no A/C which in my opinion is a health threat. This is a great store and its reputation should be its priority. Waste of time and human resources.

A truly incredible store. Wide selections equipment for all kinds of sports whether it be football or camping, they literally have it all. It is always so exciting to enter the store. I love Paragon!!!

I wanted to return new, unused merchandise, but I didn't have the receipt or original packaging. Yet, they were very understanding and worked with me and allowed me to return my merch. It goes without saying, I will definitely be buying all my sporting goods at this wonderful store!

I went to Paragons with my wife to purchase a Canadian goose Parker. It was Christmas Eve, approximately 6 p.m., an hour before they close. Natasha, the sales rep, attentively helped us find the perfect Canadian goose parka for my wife. She was very cordial, professional, and had a lot of patience. She didn't put any pressure on us at all. We felt very comfortable as my wife was trying on several coats. Ladies, if you need any sort of ski or winter attire, go into the section and find Natasha. She's by far the best seles rep. that I ever experienced.

Excellent place has almost everything related to sports. Only it is outrageously expensive and ridiculous at some prices than it is cheap elsewhere :)

I ordered a clothing item from this company's online store, and they shipped it with the security tag intact. When I e-mailed their customer service, they told me that I had to come to the store to get it removed. I wouldn't have ordered it online if I lived close to their store!

Huge choice on all sports including winter. Technical equipment for both professionals and amateurs. The best brands are present for both men's and women's departments. Also also casual sportswear with various seasonal sales and percentage discounts

Great store, selection is huge, the salespeople are very nice and knowledgeable. Having said all of that - it is pricy.

I can spend hours here. And do. Often. A little bit of everything for every outdoor pursuit. Just too much Ralph Lauren.

This place is slightly on the pricier side, but totally worth it. The selection they have is stunning, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I bought ski boots here, and the boot fitting staff was a 10/10.

Very high prices, but the positive point is that everything is there, but I mean, and it's a tip, if you have time, search on eBay or Amazon and buy to deliver to your hotel, it's cheaper and you don't waste time on a store shopping, save your time to visit attractions.

Best place to shop at, staff was really friendly and knew what they were saying at explaining merchandise. I will definitely be shopping back here! The owner should be very proud of running such an amazing business.

They treated me well and I found what I was looking for

The sales person volunteered to me that if I could find the sneakers that I wanted to buy for my son online at a cheaper price Paragon would price match. I informed him I found the same exact sneaker for 20 percent off at Footlocker. He said show the person at the register this and have it in my online cart. This took me some time to maneuver on my cell phone . Then I waited for 20 minutes at the register, my son had the sneakers on. . Finally, when I went to check out I was told by a robot like manager, that the store would not match a price discounted by a promotion. How else do prices get discounted ??? My son took the sneakers off and we gave back all the clothes we wanted to buy and left. I later ordered them from Footlocker. for $30 less.
I felt because they gave me the wrong info and wasted my time they should have honored the 20 percent. I have shopped there for at least 40 years ..bad customer service. I have two very athletic boys,,,, very short sited.

It was a nightmare. I used to like to come here. But one of staff gave me incorrect information about coupon, and I lost it because I trusted her. And a male manager asked me like a police officer about this issue without politeness and honesty. I complained it on the website, but no response.
In conclusion, this shop provides very poor service without responsibility and tries to steal your rights. Don t buy anything here if you want to have correct and safe guarantee on your goods.

Great selection of sporting goods and high tech, got myself a cool hat and touch gloves. I was told by the young cashier they don't accept Samsung mobile payment except Apple Pay, but I prove her wrong and Samsung Pay works smooth as silk! Love it! Lol

The sales assoc in the tennis dept was very rude.. Second time around I spoke to the tennis manager who was condescending. Never getting my tennis gear there again

I do not recommend Paragon. The staff is not serious. I made a reservation at a Garmin watch allegedly new and sealed. After a long walk from my hotel in my last day in the city I got informed that the only Garmin 245 Music they had was in the showcase accessible to anyone touch, press etc. Who knows for how long and even the the saleswoman dropped it in front of me.

A huge selection of all things sports, but I was unimpressed by their swimwear section. Still, a fun store to browse around in, and the staff seems to know the product well.

Really not different than buying from the manufacturer or online. If you are looking for discounts. You can forget about it since their prices are definitely full price an sometimes seems that they mark up a bit higher.

We got lost in the store at the time of the sale, when the business was very congested and confusing. The products were not correct in any order. Despite everything, insanely good offers were found in the store and shopping bags full were sent off with satisfaction. The service was very friendly and good compared to the traffic jam.

Still the best place for ANY kind of sports or outdoor gear.

If you want expert opinions and tons of selection then this is the place to go.

We went last week looking for a sweater that we really wanted to buy time ago, and unfortunately Paragon brick and mortar store didn't have that sweater in the size desirable. We look on their website and it was available there, we had a gift card though the web did not accept to use gift cards bummer.
We asked a manager if we could order it online and pay it on the store and he said was not possible. Then we luckily asked this awesome employee and problem solved, he made his best to make it possible and he did it.
So happy he made his best and finally we were able to ordered it . We are very satisfied with their customer service and products :)

The new skateboard area is nice, the workers there were helpful in helping me find a skateboard. They even taught me some basics.

You come to Paragon to pay for service. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and ready to help you with find the right product. With backpacks - they're ready to put the weight in, shoes - they have a little rocky bridge to walk over, etc.

Sometimes, however, when its packed it feels very claustrophobic amongst all the merchandise. I've been a number of different times and its always the same traffic level.

I'm appalled that this store sees nothing wrong with selling so many brands that use real fur. I'll get my sports equipment from other places.

This store has everything you could need for your sporting needs. Staff is knowledge. Prices can be a little expensive, but are still reasonable.

I just purchased ski boots and was very pleased with my entire shopping experience. Ron, in the ski department, spent a lot of time with me on 2 separate days to make sure that the boots were just right for my feet. I didn't feel rushed or that he was just trying to sell me whatever boot just to make a commission. As a skier himself he really cared about getting a boot that was perfect.
I would come back and shop here any day.

Probably the most comprehensive sports store in the area. Prices are reasonable, although you can find better deals for things if you shop online sometimes. Staff is definitely helpful.

My go to winter clothes and sports mega store in Manhattan. Even if your not buying there, which you should, it's a great place to try stuff on before you buy on line.

just a heads up that Tyler , in the snowboard section, was super helpful in picking me a new board. he even fixed my bindings free of charge, and made sure my flow bindings worked on my burton board. this place rocks!

Paragon is having their great sale. Couldn't find what I needed, but this wonderful Store Director, Ronnie W. gave me his business card and told me to email him and he would try to help me find what I need! Isn't God amazing? He knew I needed help and he placed someone in my path who generously offered gis personal time to me. He is a credit to Paragon and a blessing to me!

Paragon Sports has a vast inventory spanning several kinds of sports and fitness activities. From winter sports, outdoor activities, running, to water sports, you can find it all at Paragon. The sales associates were very helpful and knowledgeable with their recommendations whenever I had a specific question. Paragon made for an overall very enjoyable shopping experience.

Tried to get season rentals. I ended up buying new the exact pair of new boats down the street for less than it would cost me to rent from Paragon.

We went the day I was having a "sale" (September 25th), many items on sale. We bought baseball and football shirts for $ 20 dollars.

Nice multi brand retail shop which sells goods in the middle of quality/price range. However, it may be difficult to find an assistant there.

This has been the goto place for sports equipment and apparel in NYC for years, and shows no signs of giving that crown up.

This sporting goods store has an array of clothes and gear on three large retail floors. Well trained staff. Good sales.

Great selection and very helpful staff. Would definitely visit again, especially for tennis clothing.

If you're in a pinch and need some gear, this place has it all and carries good brands. Decent prices, too.
