Terrific. I asked for the americans and they put 3 american pancakes (which are the smallest but thickest pancakes) mine was chocolate. Banana and strawberries. The ingredients are abundant and spectacular. The price we are used to in Spain is carillo. 12 euros. And the hot chocolate I ordered was not thick. It was like a cocoa with cream .5'5 euros. But since all the specified prices come and everyone knows what they are going to spend. They do not accept cash. Cards only! And you give yourself a keychain with the account. A Dutch shoe with its advertising.

There is a reason why this place is busy. Food and service are great. Order Banana almond chocolate sauce pancake as well as apple crumble ice cream pancake. The best sweet pancakes on the menu. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam. Bring your credit card, they don't take cash.

I recommend dutch pancakes with apple crumble, cinnamon and vanilla icecream.

Delicious coffee, bacon and pancakes! I think the bacon is Canadian Bacon meat, but sliced like American bacon (still delicious).

I would order the syrup on the side if you don t want a lot.

The pancakes (Dutch, not American) are thin like crepes, but are buttery and delicious! The ham and cheese one is a great, savory one, and there is also a create your own option as well. Prices are not too bad, either. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and if you are a tourist, they usually offer up a nice surprise souvenir at the end of your meal.

They charge to use the washroom even if you are a paying customer. They don t let you split the check. They don t take cash. They only give you tap water if you buy another drink, if you don t they refuse to give you tap water. A very non customer focus restaurant. Host was not friendly at all.

It's not big inside, so you'll likely have to wait a while to get in. Nothing particularly special about the food, but the simple ham and cheese was good.

The MOST amazing pancakes. Yes, the wait is long. Yes, the restaurant is small. Seating is a bit tight. There are a few small tables outside. Dutch pancakes are a newly discovered favorite of mine and Pancakes Amsterdam has a great variety to choose from. They have both sweet and savoury pancakes.

One of several around the city, this Pancakes Amsterdam serves great food in a tiny location. We went for the traditional Dutch pancakes (think a crispier crepe) and were not disappointed, though we did eye the fluffy American pancakes at another table with envy. Their coffee is good, but nothing particularly special. Definitely a good place to get breakfast.

Small winding shop in the beautiful Nine Streets district. Look into the kitchen. Countless combinations, including the classic bacon with banana (or apple), syrup for self-dosing at the table. And there are American pancakes too.
Only cards, no cash!

We went twice. The first time I didn't like the waiter insisting on tip even though we were not required to do so. It was very rude otherwise the food was very good.

What a great place! Been here with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is very nice and the pancakes are absolutely delicious. The selection is great. It's a very popular place so you should bring some time with you and be prepared for waiting a little until you get a seat. But trust me - it's definitely worth the wait!

To Japanese people it is a bit volleyy lol. I guess it might be better to have one than Baroloom, for two people.

Very busy place, with few seats, but they offer truly spatial Pancakes !!! Prices are slightly high but it's worth getting in and filling your stomach!

The very good attention, the super friendly waitresses. Rich and tasty breakfast to start, in that city you have to kick a lot. A detail of one of the waitresses, was leaving a message with a happy face on the ticket. Very good site, I recommend it.

There is a lineup 20 people deep for this place and the staff are walking around like there is no one in the restaurant. They are literally sitting in the front of the restaurant eating and playing on their phones. If you want to waste an hour of your life come here. If you want good service go somewhere else.

My husband and I went in after walking in -2 degrees for couple of hours and we thought it was a great idea to eat here as we loved their pancakes. The place was full but a table was preparing to leave. So we were waiting for them quietly at the entrance when the guy working there asked us to wait outside. At first I didn t understand and showed him that a table is leaving and we could be seated as none else was waiting besides us. The guy insisted we should wait outside - in the freezing cold (??!!!)
We left never to set foot in that place again. I don t understand how rude and thoughtless one can be...
I know this place since a long time and have witnessed its success throughout the years. Unfortunately it lost 2 customers today - I wonder if this even means anything to them?!
