It is said that this is not only a Khmer holy land but also an Indian holy land.
Indians were hit by a waterfall.
Since it is not a high mountain, the feeling of air is the same as on a flat land, and it is a hiking course of about 1.5 km.

We booked a day tour to Kulen Waterfall and Mountains with Siem Reap Shuttles. The tour price of $35 included the entry ticket for Kulen Waterfall, pick up and drop off, English speaking guide and bottled water. There were 8 people on our day tour which was the perfect size. It was great to spend the day in the National Park!

Unless you're into hinduism/buddhism, this is really not worth the time/money. The whole place is a tourist trap, and what's more, once you are at the top, you cannot leave until after noon.

A mix of interesting Cambodian cultures (River of a Thousand Penises), beautiful scenary (waterfalls) and great hiking. A bit touristy but well worth a visit.

We walked in the park up to the waterfall and it was fantastic.

Great destination to visit if you go to Siem Reap province. It is combination of nature(forest with waterfall, religion(a big Buddhist statue on the top on mountain),... you can swim in the small lake under the water fall, it was a river with a statue at the bottom with its story... then you can go to pray at the building of the Buddhist statue... you can enjoy to eat your food under the tree, along the river with many types of street foods or even ordered food by cook... the environment is great. Highly recommended!

While crowded, the waterfalls are nice to spend some time in.

Be sure to bring along a swim and a swimsuit so that you can swim in the waterfall.

Phnom Kulen National Park and it's beautiful waterfalls. A pleasant moment away from the main temples of Angkor and the crowds of tourists.

The temple was not impressive. Admission is about $ 10. It is better to get by car, rather than by a moped, because it is too dusty. A bunch of people. And still beg for money and cigarettes. At the entrance to the temple, the poor are forced to take off their shoes, but I took off only immediately before entering the temple (I might not have taken off). Do not be too lazy to walk along the beaten paths, it was very interesting. Cheap sandalwood. There, local people do not speak English well. Now about the waterfall. This is a place where people like to have picnics. A bunch of people and dirty. At the foot of the waterfall is a beautiful photo platform. Cafe is a little expensive. Tired. Only because of the small journey along the 2/5 paths (without them 0.5 / 5)

Difficult to access the waterfalls, but still a great place to visit! Would recommend going for first timers. Very crowded with tourists.

Super hot day, but it was fun to hike up to the waterfall and take a dip. The water is relatively clean, but don't expect full amenities like a locker room or showers. Everything is pretty makeshift, so be sure to look after your valuables or at least make sure someone has an eye on them. When we were there, it was holiday season, so lots of local youth and families were also out and about enjoying themselves. The vibe was super energetic and noisy, we saw folks of all demographics having fun in the water. The hike up can be pretty tiring in the heat, so make sure you have ample water. Clothes should be lightweight and easy to change in and out of.

The entrance costs 20dlls and after an hour on the dirt road there are no signs, the place is not cared for or suitable for tourists (which is expected after paying 20dlls), the waterfall, nothing exceptional, cloudy water and the villagers bathing.

Indeed a must visit place for it's Natural beauty, waterfall, historical monuments, temples revealing the great ancient times of beautiful Cambodia.

Enjoy two water falls.



Full Knowledge of ancient history of the place before visiting this great place will indeed make one contended. Great Salute to our great ancestors. Even after leaving the place the memories of visiting Mahendraparvata, Angkorian era, Khmer Empire will linger on. Good luck.

A small beautiful park for eating, lingering, meditating and watching the reclining Buddha. Unfortunately many begging people on the spot, where you can also buy bundles of small change notes to distribute them. Converted a penny bills, which you should buy in thick bundles to then distribute them generously. You should help differently if you want to help.

Wonderfull view. Natural. Good steps to the waterfall. There's some area inside. I visit the lingga river, big buddha statue, and waterfall. There's 2 waterfall. Unfortunately i can't post the big one.

This place is amazing, you need hours to explore it. Bring water and good walking shoes and be prepared to below away.

We took a tour at Siem Reap for 1 day (35$/person) from 8am to 4pm. We are totally disapointed! 4h drive for nothing really special... in front of the temple (to be honest not really extraordinary...) lot of homeless poeple asking for money (children included). Waterfall fully crowded. Can be beautifull if empty. Can not even walk in the parc as we expected... at the end the driver take us to a touristic restaurant (expensive) and we just waited him to finish his lunch.. I personally do not recommend!

The most beautiful sacred and holy place with waterfalls for everyone!

Watch the broken puppies,
It's worth looking around every corner.
The feeling of being part of nature.
A place where many local families visit.

Just enjoying this national park. Hoping people to stop littering at this lovely place.

A historical place of Cambodia,

One of the best natural park to visit after you enjoy the trip to Angkor Wat. The mountain is great with breathtaking view plus you can enjoy the cold shower under the waterfall.

A worthwhile and relaxing day trip to the countryside from Siam Reap

No public transportation to this place, some would book private vehicles. We took a tour package that covered the entrance fee.
Got to visit Buddhist temple, water falls and Linga sculptures in river.
Did not match up to our expectations but had to do this since we came all the way to Cambodia.

National park with great natural beauty. I just love the forest and water fall there. It's so relaxing.

A place explored by the locals, I was glad to be there, road is bumpy and with many pot holes.

What a nice half day visit to this waterfall. It is beautiful and certainly a site to see. I got some fantastic photos here. It's not incredibly deep I'm 5"4 and I could stand in the water.

Dont take any belongings. We had a lovely guide who held our stuff whilst we went in but it's best to just try and not bring it.

There is a lot of walking, especially steep walking so wear comfortable shoes and bring your own drink.

You will get super wet, goes without saying.

Kulen Hill is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Siem Reap, about 70 kilometers from the provincial town. The place also allows to play from early morning until 12 noon, but not let up, but let down from the mountain because narrow roads can not get the car up at the same time. No. There is also a delicious food with reasonable price, and we can bathe in a stream flowing through the mountains. Besides, you can offer a burnt offering to King Kulen and Kulen Hill.

It was peaceful place and less crowded, More local than tourists.

When you visit Angkor archeological sites, you will want to go a little further. The red bananas sold along the mountain path are exquisite

Well the other review said it all. However, one thing to remember is that since the way up to the mountain is small and in order to avoid the traffic problem, you can claim up the mountain only until before lunch. After lunch, it will be a one-way road for those coming down.

Phnom Kulen is a holy mountain which serves as a place of pilgrimage on weekends and special occasions for Cambodians. A great place to escape to on a weekend!

As a nation, the Cambodians are quite comfortable and lazy. On the cycling, a significant portion of the country's head and head looked at it personally. Hammocks everywhere in the market, in stores, at home and in the car.
Just like a small fruit shop on the side of the street. Hammocks tied there. The shopkeeper hamake to sleep swing. The buyer actually sells the hammock and sells it. Then again hamming him down.
The use of their rocker in different places as an attraction of comfort is also worth seeing. Especially in some travel places, the type of arrangement of the swings with spinach is quite tasteful and attractive, which is the stranglehold of the stranger, the soul is involved.

Camped and hiked here for two nights, had the best experience. It can rain in the monsoon, so be sure to carry raincoats. We got drenched in the rain, but enjoyed the experience. Not a lot of wild animals around, do overall it's a safe hike. You will be able to see a lot of old temples and carvings of Hindu dieties on rocks asking the hikes. Be sure to camp at a place that provides a guide. They shall arrange all the food as well (non vegetarian).

The road to Phnom Kulen is a bit treacherous when you're driving but the waterfalls and surrounding areas are great places to visit on the weekends in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

To see this beautiful waterfall, nourished by the rainy season

Excellent park. Do not drive yourself - hire a tour. It's worth every penny. $20 entrance fee and $15 tour is the deal of a century. The waterfalls are brilliant. 1000 carvings in a river is ok but you still don't want to miss it. This trip exposes you to rural Cambodia and some great archaeology. Highly recommended.
