Great hotel with view of the harbor. Convenient access to conferences.
Had a meeting at the pan Pacific in the crystal ballroom. The room itself is beautiful, we have been there on a few occasions and I really like how it's set up. The hotel provided coffee (Starbucks coffee) and some sweets which were pretty average but appreciated anyway. The chairs were pretty comfortable, if a little old, but given that many places use plastic chairs it's nice to have proper "dining" type chairs used. The hotel is undergoing some renos right now on the escalators and they do not allow you to use the stairs so you're forced to wait for the elevator which isn't great, hence the 4 stars. Overall they do a great job and I've enjoyed the numerous times I've had work events at the pan.
Comfortable beds, great location and staff. Wish we had a better view but only here to relax so all is good.
Great location at the water front where we will be boarding our cruise ship to Alaska. Close to down town and many (free) shuttle busses to interesting places (mall, attractions). Not cheap hotel but worth the money.
Just an Awesome place, went to British Columbia for a week and next trip will be up from SF tou Alaske with the stop in Vancouver, just have to avoid Corona beer to be safe LOL
Amazing rooms and view from rooms, helpful and friendly staff, conveniently located
Excellent food, service and the atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated.
Over priced, hotel starting to show age. Great location and customer service.
Friendly and accommodating staff checked me in, upgraded me to a Harbor view, and gave me a late check-out no questions asked. A single night's stay wasn't enough to grade the service within the room, but the bed was more than comfortable enough, and the view was spectacular from my evening arrival, to my early morning wake up, to my mid-afternoon checkout.
Living up to its reputation and high rating. Excellent stay.
Great view. Great location. Staff is super helpful!
Lovely hotel right on the harbour. We upgraded to a corner harbour view room and the view was amazing. We had a balcony but the door was locked-we did ask about this but was advised it could not be opened which was disappointing. We opted for room service one night and the portions were very good. We had a somewhat moving experience when we stayed last year when we had an earthquake which was a little scary. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel is close to lots of activities within walking distance
Only visited friend but customer service and environment looked excellent.
Visited my aunt who stayed there overnight. There was an ant infestation in the bathroom. The front desk didnt seem to care that much about addressing it when she reported the problem. :/
I used their roof top pool and hot tub as part of the Spa Utopia experience. The pool is shallow but heated, hot tub had jets and was adequately hot. The tiles felt dated but the view was excellent. It would have been better if there were no kids screaming their heads off.
PROS: Arguably the best location for a hotel in Vancouver. Close to everything, including restaurants, shops, bike rentals, food court, Starbucks, boardwalk, all within a block. Upscale place with fine surroundings everywhere. Nice outdoor pool/hot tub area on terrace with panoramic view. On edge of the bay with seaplanes, beautiful mountains, cruise ships. CONS: Valet parking outrageous (over $40 per night). A bit hectic area as the building is shared with a convention center.
OVERALL: Unbeatable location, upscale hotel, nice indoors and outdoors.
Taking me in your eyes is so beautiful from the day with a little more time in it
Went to the Italian opera buffet on Saturday night. Wonderful selection of food. Not a while lot but the quality was there. Dessert was very good as well. The opera singers were excellent! Very relaxing atmosphere and wait staff was filling out water regularly. Overall nice experience. Already booked to go again next week!
Nice hotel in the heart of the city with beautiful views and sky train close by!
I didn't stay at the hotel but did walk around. Employees were courteous and helpful. Very beautiful hotel
The Pan Pacific is a fantastic hotel, in fact I d call it World-class. It s so conveniently located and you get to watch the cruise ships come and go.
Lovely restaurant. Food great and staff very attentive.
High end conference center. Beautiful venue and tightly run operations.
upscale and classy, amazing venue for conference, seminars, receptions, etc.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Food in the restaurants and banquet setting was wonderful. Very impressive. It's not cheap but it is sweet.
Tried a breakfast
Service and food were great.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The harbour views were insane- it had the most beautiful outdoor pool and jacuzzi that I have ever seen. The rooms were both fabulous and comfortable and the service was sublime. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Obviously not cheap but absolutely worth the cost.
While driving up to the parking, the attendant was excellent at giving me directions at parking! Was very friendly!
My wife and I recently stayed at the Pan Pacific while visiting Vancouver in Aug/Sep 2017. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. The location is just superb...very centrally located within walking/biking distance to most activities that you'll want to do and free shuttles available for the ones that are a little further out. The views were amazing and we loved watching the cruise ships come in. The rooms were just a bit outdated, but still clean and perfectly nice. Our original room at check-in had a pretty horrible view...a quick call to the manager and he had us in a view overlooking the pool and harbor...very customer oriented staff! We had an excellent stay at this hotel and would happily stay here on future Vancouver visits.
It's comfortable, clean, and nice. Very appealing visually and the service is nice.
The hotel was fully booked because a congress was in progress. For us, the location on Canada Place was crucial because the cruise ships dock here. The luggage service to the ship is great.
There are stunning views of Stanley Park, Ryan Gate Bridge, the mountains of North Vancouver, large cargo ships and cruise anchors, seaplane takeoffs and landings.
Conference room had all amenities expect d, friendly staff and was spacious clean and welcoming
Great location, great staff, great food, great rooms
Had an awesome view
the hotel is perfect room is big and bright , i need internet a bit better
Was just passing through to get to the convention centre but as always, it's very clan and nice
Went for a conference. It is always a lovely place.
Great hotel, directly located at the water. Very cozy beds and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and in really good condition!
Fitness is ok, opens at 5am, great Whirlpool outside!
This has been my fifth stay and everytime the staff make my trip so enjoyable. Close to many amenities
And love the pool and sauna. Thank you staff for making me so many teas and coffee your great
The location is fantastic. Being near a transit station and an array of lovely restaurants all while waterfront is an incredible experience.
Awesome hotel next to the water. Great views on the harbourside. Rooms are very clean and service is top notch.
Was good. Guest service was decent. Was there for the anime convention. View was amazing. Hope to be back next summer!
Service is good. Lighting is dim and isn't well lit.
I love this hotel, adjacent to the Vancouver cruise terminal. It is modern and sleek and if you book a club floor, you gain access the the lounge on the 23rd floor (free breakfast in the morning and hors d'oeuvres in the evening). The location is great, the only downside is a long wait for an elevator.
It was a good place to hold an event. The staff are great and friendly. It's cool that there is a shopping center and food court there too
