Beautiful hotel
Beautiful views
Panoramic views
Great atmosphere and at the heart of downtown Vancouver. Ample parking belowand surrounding areas.
Amazing location. Everything is nearby. No breakfast available. Room service is good. They have a heated pool , which is amazing. The location is the best part. They have a Starbucks below it. The rooms are specious.
Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. Top notch service from initial booking chat with Cheryl Cardinoza through to nightly turndown, special requests and attention to detail. Great location and views. Will be back!
Friendly staff, the concierges were amazing, clean rooms and so convenient if you plan on a cruise. The Canada line (train) is right in front, hop on hop off bus and several other transportation options are right there. The location is great for watching the cruise ships, helicopters, and sea planes while you wait for your adventure to begin. Food is within walking distance...I highly recommend the Pan Pacific.
Great location, busy area, lots of tourist, lots of restaurant choices, great view
Excellent location and great deals. Friendly staff and excellent room service. Location is the main reason to stay here plus the views
The staff was incredible and made us feel like family. We highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel and location were awesome! Vancouver is beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My one complaint would be the elevator situation. During our stay there was only one operational elevator and no stairs. Poor hotel guests waited in line with the hope of getting on the elevator only to have the doors open and look like a clown car jam packed full of people. Oops can t get in that one, oh here comes another one, but it s just as full as the last one, what to do? Wait and wait some more. Super annoying. Lots of guests were complaining and all being told the situation was being worked on, it never got fixed in the three days we were there. Luckily we were on the floor with the pool so we didn t have to wait to use the elevator for that. Also we were told we had a room with a city view. Not really, we basically looked directly out to the roof and the swimming pool deck. Hopefully the elevators get fixed soon.
Walked past the front to see fireworks it looked nice
Decent hotel, concierge service lacking for disabled
Had a dinner with my family at the Oceans 999 Restaurant. Food was exeptionally good. So was the service. The live music from the bar could be heard and was good too. Would recommend it.
This hotel is wonderful they have great rooms wicked views and friendly staff.....not to mention great facilities.....if your coming to Vancouver check out this hotel....its well worth it.....cheers
Both the scenery and the location are great. There is a seaplane landing point in front of you.
The Pan Pacific is always a excellent choice. They have clean rooms with amazing views and the staff are always courteous. The hotel is quiet and comfortable with lots to do around the hotel as well.
Always a great spot, staff are very nice especially at the main entrance and front desk. Lots of nice dining choices depending on whether you want a big brunch or a nice dinner. The views are spectacular.
The food here sucks, came here for prom left hungry, I had a really good time but I don't think it had anything to do with them, venue is nice when your a bit tipsy but definitely not worth the price at all
Can only speak for the spa and the pool which were both lovely. Felt totally pampered at the spa. The customer service was exceptional. The pool deck and view of the water and mountains is amazing.
We had drinks at the bar. It was lovely. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Gave us some tips about sights near by. Would come again.
The harbour view is nice.
Hotel was not bad. Pretty typical of most other hotels I have been in.
However there happened to be a screaming kind in the next room which is complety not the hotels fault.
There is also a Disney cruise that stopped by and they keep blasting music early in the morning and late at night. They also blast messages. I was woken up at 7 am.
It is expensive and the room is small. Scenery is good but service is bad. Parking is uncomfortable not to care at the hotel. WiFi is charged. If you do not expect 5 star, you can be impressed by the scenery.
Room Harbor view is subject to an additional charge.
Excellent location, first class rooms. Highly recommended.
Excellent hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious and well appointed. Good wifi. Breakfast on 23 level pretty nice views. Check in staff very good. Bit of a walk and outside to gym which is too small for an hotel this size.
I have stayed at the Pan Pacific three times now for buissness, I find it to be a very nice hotel.
I was waiting for a friend that was staying at the hotel. While I was waiting for her at their lobby, I talked to conceige for, who able to recommend great restaurants is for our food preference
Hotel has a nice view, but facilities are pretty out dated. The location is great as it's close to the subway and downtown/waterfront. Some of the staff was not very friendly. I asked a receipt be emailed to me but they never did. Hotel is a bit overrated. Ok if you get can it under three bills a night.
Very good drinks. A little bit expensive but worth it. Service was good as well.
Fantastic, awesome, place! Location probably one of the best views of Coal Harbour, Vancouver, BC. Superb service and facilities!
I was looking at organizing an event at the Pan Pacific and the staff are professional, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.
Haven't stayed at the Hotel yet, but went to Spa Utopia within the Pan Pacific Hotel. Had a great experience.
A beautiful sight to behold right from your hotel room.
My partner and I stayed for one night saturday to sunday, first thought probably a very good business hotel.
Pros:
Great location: if you are going to the victoria convention center it's right here. Walking distance to a lot of yummy food.
Friendly staff: they smiled and answered our questions and did not seem to mind repeating themselves a lot.
Nice views: I got a harbor view it's nice
Clean room: everything looks well kept a lot of storage space. Nice bed, the shower and soaps where nice as well.
Cons:
The parking: is managed separate from the hotel so you will have to take care of the fees.
Toilet paper: it's oneply for 500 plus a night ...
Wifi: Have to pay for wifi 5 bucks a night but it said it's high speed (did not pay so cant conferm)
Sound: when using the shower the water tank or something growns you can hear the hallway and neighbors pretty clearly.
The rooms were very bright, but the reception was very poor
Great location and good service, disappointed to see business centre charges to print one page
It was great... However there was a wad of tissue papers in the table beside the bed. That was kind of gross.
Staff were very professional, caring, and thoughtful.
Went for a company event. Food was good but the drinks were over the top expensive.
Expensive but worth it. They have a nice swimming pool with a mini bar next to it. Thee swimming pool area is large and it's kids friendly. The hotel was clean. The food was good.
Left chocolate covered strawberries in our room for our anniversary! Very nice touch
Beautiful clean well designed rooms and superb service from all parts of the hotel ecosystem
Simply the best. Go for a suite with wrap around views!
Amazing views and location in downtown Vancouver. Left nothing to be desired, apart from a slightly small bathroom and shower.
Went to Spa Utopia with my wife. They had RMTs, which was a plus, and my wife said they have a good selection of spa products at the store. The pool area is shared with the rest of the hotel on a different floor, and is outdoors, so is weather dependent.
Loved the location. Great water front view. We watched the floater planes land and take off However I found the room really small and the bathrooms tiny and impractical no place to put your toiletry kit. Not even a hook to hang a robe when taking a shower. Yet the hotel itself is spacious. The upside is you can pretty much walk everywhere.
The hotel didn't quite meet my expectations and what people had said about it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite dated. In this day in age to charge for WiFi is a sin and the "included" WiFi is marginal at best. You can stay at a crappy highway motel and get free WiFi that is faster than this hotel. They should really rethink their internet offering. This alone would probably stop me from ever staying here again unfortunately. The shower was decent and the beds were relatively comfortable. Overall I'm not impressed and will likely stay somewhere else next time I am in Vancouver.
The event had a lovely dinner but the bar was under staffed for a party that large. All the servers were friendly and accommodating.
Me and my wife stayed here for my birthday in mid July . We were shocked by the amount of people that were allowed in the pool and in our room there was no soap or shampoo. Although during a pandemic I think soap is more important ! Definitely not 5 star if you can't even provide soap. I'm happy I brought my own body wash to use while there. The bed and sheets were nice just completely surprised at the lack of soap . Also the service was extremely slow trying to check-in and there was way too many people in a small area in lobby and as well in the swimming pool
This place in its day must have been the place to be...but it needs a serious reno to update it......views are breathe taking of the water and Northshore
The room was nice and the people I dealt with face to face were very nice. But giving my overall experience a 1 star as I accidentally left my diamond necklace on the bathroom counter (I realize my mistake) but when I remembered and called lost and found they told me it wasn t seen when the room was cleaned. I was told I hope you find it amongst your things . I know exactly where it was left. I m devastated.
The Bellman are super friendly and the location is perfect! Close to attractions and transit. Lots of great restaurants and coffee sbops withi walking dista.ce!
Had a work conference at Pan Pacific Hotel. Venue was grand and food was excellent. Breakfast pastries were delicious and lunch was extradinary.
Top notch place! Love the rooms and the views. Great amenities...
Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and beautiful view. Plan your parking ahead. Breakfast was very good too at the 999.
nice and clean hotel. right on top of cruise terminal. very convenient and they help you transfer your bags to the ship.
A cafeteria with a fantastic vantage point overlooking Vancouver Harbour and North Vancouver.
Good location and good looking decor. Service was solid and the venue was nice.
The place was beautiful and clean. Love the view of the harbor! Staff was helpful and attentive.
Enjoyed the room, king harbour view. Great views of float planes taking off and landing as well as boats. Had to phone front desk because of noisy neighbors, immediately quieted down. It s easy to expect noise but their immediate action was most impressive. Starbucks attached directly to hotel.
Amazing view. Older hotel but you can't beat its location
***NOT 5 STARS***
To preface this, we are locals.
The service was really bad and unhelpful. Tourist attraction that DOES NOT represent the quality that Canada offers.
Not even a damn poutine on the menu, hardly Canadian.
The rooms were actually quite nice. However, the champagne took too long to get to the room for celebrations. The pool was quite nice, though I think maybe too small and shallow. The food however, was overpriced and dreadful. A medium rare steak was rare and NOT SEASONED, all I could taste was grill marks and dead animal. Hardly befitting of a 40 DOLLAR NEW YORK STRIP. The burger I ordered was quite passable, however the bun was very dry. The Poke bowl was also pretty much soup. I advise going out of the hotel for food, such as the Keg, or even, god forbid, McDonalds.
Worth every penny. Gorgeous view. Central location. Get harbour view, that itself is a treat. Delicious breakfast (free). I have to acknowledge Breakfast manager ( I believe) Max, servers Jose and Julie. Awesome people packing our breakfast ( beautiful packing bags too) for me to bring up for my wife and kids. Memorable experience. Highly recommended.
Best hotel stay I have ever had! Great value, amazing and friendly staff, and best of all - this view from our 19th floor room.
Its a nice hotel in a really good location.
Breakfast is about 35$ and the view is awsome. You should try the pool on the 8th floor in the morning (opends at 6am) you will enjoy a nice view of the mountin.
One thing i wish thay would had is a free bottle in your room, it gets dry over night.
