My favourite hotel in Vancouver if willing to splurge. The hotel is well situated to all kinds of attractions and top restaurants. It s also always bustling with people as there is a convention centre and cruise ship port as part of the hotel. The harbour views are exceptional as you can see the whole harbour across to North Vancouver without any obstructions.
By reserving one of the Pacific Club rooms, you have access to many extra amenities such as a dedicated lounge and concierge service, complimentary coffee, teas, juices, soft drinks, water, and freshly baked treats all day. A West Coast Breakfast and Evening Hors D oeuvres are included as part of the Pacific Club experience.
The attention to small details is also very welcome. Our kids had gone swimming and it appears the staff had noticed. Upon our return, we found two small robes laid out on the bed. Even the nightly turn down service was something included that I did not expect but was a nice touch!
I never thought it would be as useful as it was but having access to a dedicated lounge for snacks and drinks all day was absolutely incredible. Finish a workout and craving a banana? A quick stop for some cold bottled water? Don t feel like instant coffee and want some brewed Starbucks? All available by just walking to the lounge. I even spoke to the dedicated concierge more than I ve ever conversed with any other hotel concierges. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for getting around the city and pre-booking tickets to attractions for us.
I highly recommend this hotel if you want the highest level of service and a most comfortable stay.
Prime location, downtown inner harbor. The building itself is older however renovations have kept up with the times. Pay parking expected.
It was entirely adequate. Location is convenient for transit. Parking rates are a rip-off.
Great service and beautiful location with an abundance of restaurants around the area.
We stayed there the night before our Disney cruise. The location was great! The room was good. The lobby is fantastic! We had their buffet breakfast and it was excellent! There was luggage transfer right to the ship so we did not need to bother with hauling them around. It is a bit pricey but it is Vancouver.
Amenities are a bit outdated but the views are worth it.
Pan Pacific is beautiful and so close to shopping areas.
Great place, very good food, overall good experience
Great service very friendly staff Adam in particular
Their Santa brunch was excellent with a great selection of food
Beautiful views with well appointed rooms and comfortable beds.
I love bar in here. We can see Lions gate bridge and magnificent view of North Vancouver. Cocktails are really tasty especialli Sangria. Staffs are really kind. However, it's hotel so kind of expensive rather than other pub or bar.
Went here for a 2 day conference, everything was spacious, beautiful & clean. I am only giving this hotel 2 stars because when I asked if there was a small room I could use to pump breastmilk before driving back to Seattle (after I had checked out), they were unable to accommodate me. They asked me to do it in one of their bathrooms (there was no outlet near the sink). There was no hospitality whatsoever. I would not recommend this place for working mothers, as you may have to pay extra to keep your room for a full day when you will only need it for 15mins after an evening conference.
Staff were very friendly, and the location is ideal for travelling to anywhere in Vancouver or the surrounding area. The rooms have great views no matter which way you are facing, and are large enough to accommodate all luggage etc.
However, the reason for the low review, was that during my stay there were way too many times there was an issue. I was there for 2 nights, my findings were as follows. The hot tub had had clumps of hair floating around in it, the sauna temperature controller did not work (it wouldn't let you go past a quarter of max heat, and it turned infinitely backwards), 2 elevators were out of action (understandably, elevators aren't easy fixes) however, there should have been some direction, as myself and 3 other families tried using the stairs, yet they ended on the 8th floor. Every elevator was full by the time it reached us. So we were forced to use the service elevator to even get down from our room. Having guests wandering through the employee areas just to get down from their room I would deem unacceptable.
All of this aside, if rectified, the hotel is an amazing place to stay, and you will be hard pressed to find something better. However there are some glaring issues that I had during my stay, that meant it wasn't quite what I would expect from such a prestigious location.
Stayed for a conference. For a downtown hoyle it was quiet. Double beds only in my room. Would prefer queen size bed.
I was a guest of this hotel while waiting to sail on a Disney cruise. We stayed on the concierge level and took full advantage of the lounge area. The breakfast was convenient and delicious. I also enjoyed the sauna and the views were amazing!
Nice rooms and great staff. Close to Gastown and skytrain.
The restaurant is amazing. The bartender Matt is great
Stayed here in May when on a work trip; my perception is definitely skewed by being in one of the better quality rooms with free WiFi and access to the lounge one floor down. The lounge served a delicious and generous breakfast buffet, beverages and snacks during the day, and a light supper collation late afternoon until around sixish (I think) all included in the cost of the room. Views of the waterfront were stunning and the central location truly meant ease of access everywhere I needed to go.
It was our office holiday party...the buffet food and dessert were awesome..
Cheap, decent hotel.
Old interior but good service & next door to a tasty pub.
Stayed for the weekend, booked for the panoramic king size harbour room. When I went to check in, they upgraded me to the Topaz Suite, it was amazing! Such beautiful views, definitely coming back soon.
I attended for a social event so I didn't get a room. The atmosphere was very nice and Grand. The service was good and so was the food.
Staff was very courteous. Parking was painfully expensive. Room was nice apart from some bulbs needing replacement
I was there for a Cristmass party and everthing was perfect food was delicious as always. The olny problem was that the escelators were not working and we had to wait in a lineup for elevator for a while.
Had a wonderful time staying here. Will definitely be going back.
The best hotel we have ever stayed at. Luxurious and the staff are also top notch.
Great, until you try to leave. Elevators from Hell.
Great hotel, with amazing views and cruise port access
The view is really great and the other amenities are nice as well. The parking is expensive though. Hotel day pass is $50 CAD per day. Besides, there is still an extra charge for wifi.
central location near attractions and transportation.
Quiet in the busy area. Nice and clean. People work there are so friendly.
Very good security system and very friendly house keeper named jerty
Great location, beautiful building and amazing view of the North shore.
We went for a craft fair. It was very clean, and professional, and staff were very helpful.
I loved their services such as their spa and facial treatments. They were very professional and informative when providing products for my skin type.
Attended mission fest, and the exhibition hall had plenty of space for all the displays and the youth rally next door had plenty of space to accommodate a massive number of people.
The service was really nice and the staff were very polite, but I was not satisfied with the room and hotel itself. First of all, it s ridiculous that we have to pay for the wi-fi for $5 AND that s for only 24 hours only. Secondly, our bedsheets were stained with spots when we arrived. Last of all, we found used earplugs on the floor which we only discovered after we were about to leave. Probably our last time visiting.
Went to SpaUtopia at the Pan Pacific for a RMT massage. The price included use of the spa facilities (steam room and dry sauna) as well as snacks and a complementary wine after the massage. Wonderful experience!
Nice hotel with a stunning view of the port. The rooms are nice and clean. The bed is comfy. The shower has a good waterpressure and of course hot water. The food and drinks from the minibar are as usual quiet expensive. The staff is very kind and will help you at any time. The pool on the 8th floor was wery noisy because of the children.
Sometimes you get big cruiseships on the outside of the hotel. You can also see waterplanes starting and landing.
Clean rooms. Attentive staff. Hosting a large seminar or meeting is easy.
Went for a massage at the hotel and it was excellent!
It's a beautiful hotel, excellent location, and the service leaves no wants. I highly recommend this hotel.
Views are TO DIE FOR, accomedations were nice, but the hotel was quite dated, and rather lack-luster. Service was excellent!
Great place for a meeting . Very convenient place, close to major public transportation and a great view of the Northshore
Exceptional customer service!! The room quality (mattress, pillows, aesthetics) is far superior to competing hotels within Vancouver. The Fairmont, and Shangri-La are double the price for similar or sub-par service, room quality, and amenities.
Very intelligent, expert staff and well managed hotel of Canada
Very high quality rooms. Hotel is well placed for Gastown and Stanley Park and is also next to the cruise-ship berths.
Well I was only there to pick up family and get on a cruise so it was good
