Closed for renovation and conversion to full-fledged museum at the time of visits. However, the garden and the view from the roof more than made up for it. Accessible with Museum Jaarkaart.

Wheelchair users are not allowed to use this lift. Because the roof would be too slippery, I am on my four wheels really much more stable than all those elderly people with crutches who are allowed to go upstairs ...

Beautiful gardens and a quick view from the roof of the beautiful greenery and ongoing renovation. We have completely overlooked that the palace was not accessible at all. The entrance fee including the ridiculous rate per hour for the parking costs make this outing almost a farce. The explanation of the renovation could have been much more extensive. The visitor is thus more informed.

September 2017:

September 2017:
A monumental palace from the time of King-Stadtholder William III to Queen Wilhelmina.
Note: Parking costs 7.00 per day and the surcharge for the exhibition "Chapeau" is 3.00 p.p. Because we each have a Museum annual ticket, we did not have to pay the entrance tickets of 14.00 p.p. A lot of money together, but you can look your eyes all day. The stables and the palace garden are also worth a visit.
If you want to see all this, you have to be quick, because from January 8, 2018 the palace will be closed for three years due to a thorough renovation. So you only have a few months left.

Very nice, quiet, friendly staff. Nice to learn more about the royal house and the past and all carriages and cars. Too bad we were too early to see the renovation. Oh and there was a peacock stole the show at lunch

Unfortunately closed at the moment, but the park was traditionally opened up. So enjoy a walk among the old trees and enjoy nature. We will probably come again to view the palace.

Paleis het Loo itself is closed until 2021 due to renovation work. However, it is recommended to walk through the gardens and view the stables. Fun activities for the children and a nice lunch. Entrance fee: 2.5 euros for children and 7.5 euros for adults is therefore very reasonable. However, I find 7.5 euros in parking fees out of proportion and that is a reason for me not to come back (for the time being).

I visited this place with great desire to see the interior, unfortunately it is currently under renovation and I only have to see the gardens. No one at the checkout tells me that the palace can not be visited and the price for admission should be reduced (it is not). The gardens are impressive, they are well cared for and beautiful fonntanas add charm.

Nice to see but you will be through in no time. It is best to go there if there is a theme. In combination with the winter fair it is a nice day out, but even then you are done with half a day. The piece of history is educational.

Amazingly beautiful palace. Unfortunately we did not go inside, but had the opportunity to go up on the roof and see the view of the garden from the top. And you can also enjoy nature while you walk through a kind of forest.

Lifehack: You can easily save 1 if you order tickets online. You can do it even standing next to the ticket window. Then scan it at the desk to get a voucher for one free drink (we chose cappuccino - it was great!). The park is beautiful and nice place to walk around.

While walking to Paleis het Loo, I am often asked by tourists where they can eat well ...... Therefore, when you come ut het Loo, you turn left towards Berghorst (looks like a hatch in the winter months, right there to the left and next to each other all the first good options for especially good food, in December of course in a Christmas atmosphere, the Heerlijkckheyt and the Keizerskroon.
Good news, gardens remain open during closing hours and the park remains normally accessible .... Beautiful in every season!

The place is nice with a nice history of the Dutch monarchy. Unfortunately the place is under a heavy renovation untill 2021. The one thing I didn't like is they put some modern art in the gardens. For me, it doesn't make sense or match.

The gardens are great class. The elevator will take you to the main building with an impressive view over the grounds. A star deduction, because the entrance fee (family ticket 21 ) still a bit high. That's likely to change if you can visit the castle itself. But this will be renovated until 2021.

Beautiful 300 year old palace, but it's closed until 2021 for renovation. The grounds and gardens are still worth a visit. You can still visit the stables which includes historic coaches and cars of the Royal Family, as well as an elevator to the palace roof for great views of the garden and grounds.

Been with our family (child aged 2 and 4). For our small children there was very little to do. Together with the fact that the palace itself was closed, the costs were very high for the pleasure we had.

The palace is beautiful! Definitely worth wandering through the beautiful rooms before closing. All rooms are decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations and flower arrangements.
