A pleasant place to hike, as a continuation, to attractions in the area such as an open museum, etc. Instead of an exhibition of carriages overlooking the palace and a stroll in the gardens. The palace is currently undergoing renovations and can not be explored inside.

We visited the winterfair today. Some beautiful atmospheric stalls. But also a lot of the same and not really inspiring. Considering the fact that you can not enter the palace a lot of money can happen for this.

Nice to wander around. Nice exhibitions. Audio tour for adults is very informative, which for children was a drama with our kids because they are not involved in the story in such a fun way. Also recommended for people who are not particularly interested in the royal family. In the winter, enjoy skating on the ice rink at the coach house.

In July 2018 we have been here. The palace itself is still closed due to a long-term renovation. With an outside elevator you can go up and dr from the roof a beautiful view over the beautifully landscaped gardens. If desired, there is also a guided tour. Recommended!

Beautiful palace and now museum. Various changing exhibitions and of course a permanent collection. Nice overview of how the Oranges used to live. Beautiful Christmas decorations always around Christmas. The gardens are in French style. Definitely worth it.

Beautiful gardens, and beautiful estate.

Beautiful gardens, and beautiful estate.
At the moment the buildings have not been erected due to major renovation.
For creating a fantastic new museum underground.
The stables are open to the public, where all kinds of vehicles and carriages of the royal house are exhibited.

There is also a special lookout point made on 1 of the buildings, which can be reached from the outside by means of a staircase and an elevator for the elderly. Where there is a beautiful view over all gardens.

The bad news is that the palace itself is being renovated, so only the stables and gardens were open. These were lovely though. Make sure to keep an eye on the time while walking through the gardens, as certain parts close at certain times. Ask about this at the ticket office. There are 2 restaurants onsite which are quite nice. My advice is to make sure you buy tickets at the ticket office before going in, many people made this mistake and went in first. They were told to go back. Also, keep a look out for possible events at the paleis. We enjoyed live opera on the day we went.

Well ... entertained day. In the back of the gardens I bought an ice cream and a bottle of water. Then it went wrong, the ministry had no idea what he was doing.
He could complain, it was sooooo busy, .... nahg with two types of ice, water and coffee, he should have been able to handle this easily.

The first terrace you come across was Coffee 2.90 and a pastry 4.95 I think quite a lot of money, after 7.50 parking fee and 17.50 entrance to a palace in the pipeline.

Paleis Het Loo is a beautiful building with a beautiful garden. Located in a beautiful wooded area where you can walk. The varied exhibitions on the grounds of the Palace are always fun and interesting. The horse stables and everything around it are certainly fun and interesting. And in the few restaurants you can eat delicious. All in all worth it to go to Paleis Het Loo.

A nice glimpse into royal living from earlier times. The various rooms are easily accessible. The garden with unique fountains and water features provides a beautiful backdrop for beautiful photos and a princely walk. The walk from the parking lot past the coach-filled coach house through the gate to the palace is a special experience. The royal 5 stars are definitely deserved. Fun for the young princes and princesses-to-be, a tangible memory for seniors of the royal family of the past century.

Visited the princes and princesses day
Great success for the children There is a carriage, juggling, there is a hobby horse race, in short enough to see and experience. Only the so-called ball was a mockery. For the parents a nice place to be with the palace gardens.

There was a Christmas market, very nicely set up. But it could not bear the name Christmas market. Lots of old stuff and stalls with a bit of old weird clothes. It was very disappointing and certainly not for us next time.

Really great! You do not notice much of the renovation and the high tea was beautifully cared for! My girlfriend has a rather difficult diet, but it was very neatly taken into account! 100% recommended!

Although the palace itself is closed due to the restoration, the whole offers many possibilities. The garages with cars, carriages and sledges. But especially the palace garden and the hiking opportunities in the immediate area.

There are now far fewer visitors because of the Corona situation. Unfriendly welcome to parking lot. "What are you doing here?" (What do you think at the entrance of an attraction? Only park the car?) And not ... "Good afternoon welcome at Palies Het Loo. Due to the Corona situation it now works as follows ... "And you will only be able to enter through this entrance later. Because the other entrance is closed via Het Kleine Loo. We had walked there and thought we would spend the time and so on We had a time slot but we were well on time, but we were not allowed to enter the large parking lot because we were too early, so at that side entrance, flexible staff again listed the rules and impossibilities .. "computer says No" .. So also unfortunately sorry for the inconvenience .. and we had to walk 3 kilometers or more. We just had the tickets on the phone on pdf. Anyway. We had to go back because there would be Corona to be checked in. Arrived there ... no medical staff or tea scanner or something like that. You were asked did you ask Corona or something like that. (What do you think I thought again). there is an elevator on the roof with overview over h et Paleis het Loo and the construction site and the park. They are also bravely replanting all boxwood hedges or I hope a boxwood replacement with the current boxwood moth. But where previously beautiful blooming flowers and plants were gravel, my impression is or just left out. At strategic points they have placed vases with beautiful smelling peonies. See pictures. I wish you a pleasant visit. And if you follow this information and the instructions of the staff or just ask the parking attendant just as well, then you will be fine. Unfortunately, wheelchair users cannot access the roof. The logistics are not adapted to this. And little staff for probably. I can imagine that somewhere, of course. One point to condone is that it was open the first day. I don't think that start-up problems can always be prevented.

The palace itself was closed for renovation, it was announced on the site, so that was nicely communicated. It was Prince and Princess Day. I expected a bit more interaction with and for the children. The garden looks very nice, but I cannot say that it makes me enthusiastic. Nice to have been, but wouldn't drive there especially. We were in the area, so it was nice to visit.
