Beautiful place with huge royal garden. Also, it has nice presentation to show history of Dutch royal family and their life style. The best thing is, besides dutch, they provide english description.

A beautiful place to relax. The palace building is under renovation, but after a specially made scaffolding or elevator, you can reach the observation deck on the roof of the palace and admire the beautiful views of the palace surroundings. And there is something to admire! A huge garden and a palace park with canals, fountains and beautiful rebates ... etc I recommend !!!

Beautiful gardens at Paleis het Loo.

Beautiful gardens at Paleis het Loo.
We were kindly received and the ladies received a bag with things.
A scavenger hunt could also be done.
It was a very hot day, 35 degrees, but there were plenty of shade. Being allowed to cool the feet at a fountain was a gift.
The kids laughed at the shows that were performed.
It was a relaxing day for us, the beautiful gardens in combination with the activities. It certainly deserves 5 stars!

A beautiful authentic palace with an interesting history. The garden attached to the palace is so big you can walk around for hours and still find new spots. I highly recommend this place when you like palaces or gardens or history or horses.

Check if the palace is open. It is getting renovated right now and is therefore closed.

Palace was not accessible so only in the stables and palace garden. This gives a nice picture of the past of this imposing palace. What a past. And what a yellow must have cost all this, over the centuries but even now. Such a renovation costs a fortune. The forest around it is also stately and powerfully beautiful. I have the feeling that the deer and pigs can come out of the bushes.

We went to Paleis Het Loo several times. Especially when it was still in full use as a Royal Palace and Juliana and Bernhard stayed there. But then you were not allowed in. Now, because quite a lot has changed. Paleis Het Loo is a former royal palace and now a national museum, located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn. Paleis Het Loo is owned by the State and belongs to the 'Top 100 of the National Heritage Agency' from 1990. You can now take a look at certain days and times. Until it lasts because people are busy restoring and it may get another destination. we went in last year 2017. we then stayed in hotel de Cantarel of v.d. Falcon just below Apeldoorn. Particularly beautiful of the palace is the park, the gardens surrounding it. The palace itself is a bit of past glory, nice to have seen, but not to keep going back.

The park is amazing. Mind that you need to buy a ticket before you enter the park.
Unfortunately the palace itself is being restored, so we couldn't go in and see the gardens. We saw them from a distance out back in the parc. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Paleis het Loo helemaal goed ingericht voor mindervaliden. Samen met mijn moeder heb ik de expositie van Sisi bezocht. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en door de liften en trapliften hebben wij een heerlijke dag gehad.

Very nice palace, with a nice glimpse into the life of the royal family. The gardens are also worth a visit. Disadvantage what I experienced was that very difficult is done with the accidental use of the flash, but despite the small things it is definitely worth it

Today was prince and princess day. A beautiful garden with all kinds of activities for the smaller children. And for the adults enough inspiration for garden ideas. It is a nice place to spend a day. And despite the palace being renovated, there is plenty to do. I only missed a garden shop where the plants from the garden are also for sale.

First of all. I wrote this comment saying that we didn't live in the hotel, so we can't comment on the room and so on. We decided to visit the palace's sights and a cup of coffee and lunch at this hotel. Not a local area, we think (quite wrong results) cafes, restaurants, hotels, just like this hotel will also provide food. We are really wrong. The staff is significantly better than polite or welcoming and doing our better things. Of course, there was no lunch because we were told that the restaurant was closed, and a heavy sigh and white eyes accompanied us to request a coffee. When we asked him if it was possible to have a cake or apple pie (to eat coffee together in the Netherlands) we watched us like the Alien World Health Organization just unloaded. Coffee is lukewarm, and frankly we can't wait for us to leave that place. Based on this experience. I won't stay at this hotel again if they pay me. avoid.

Nice palace however it felt more like a art museum than a look inside a royal hunting lodge. Each room is dimly lid, which makes it difficult to appreciate the beauty of the wallpaper and paintings. No information was provided what the royals and their guests would do in each of the rooms - just a list of the art and that was it. Gardens are OK
