Hotel in renovation. I was expecting more for a 5 star. However what a view my faith.

Magnificent palace with a view overlooking Lake Annecy ... A great experience for a drink, a lunch or a weekend.

Beautiful setting, even in bad weather. Luxury, calm and voluptuousness. Too bad there are some fanatics 9-3 ...

MINUSCULE room, what a disappointment for this price!
I reserve an attic room with lake view (+ 300.- EUR per night WITHOUT breakfast) and there is only a tiny window in height ... you have to stand on your tiptoes to see the lake ...
I sincerely regret this choice!

I had a drink at the bar during a walk by the lake. I was warmly received in a beautiful setting. The friendly bartender is attentive to the well-being of his guests. To recommend without hesitation.

The palace of Menthon is no more.
Establishment run by financiers and not hoteliers. All the little details are to be reviewed. Exorbitant price. Restaurant closed without being warned, dismal state of cleanliness of the spa ... Too bad because the situation is splendid.
Only the young bartender was attentive to his customers by trying to satisfy them.

The restaurant is sublime, delicious food and full of flavors not to mention the beautiful surroundings. We have a great time every time we go, the service and staff being up to the place

Beautifully outdated hotel, straight out of Agatha Christie! Overlooking the lake, Hercule Poirot is expected to emerge in the 1920s ... A magical place to see.

The location is grate. A royal building. A aristocracy atmosphere. But lack of basic facilities. No air conditioner, poor bar, no night life. The only place to hang out at night, is at the nearest town - Annecy. BUT - trying to go out to Annecy is spending hours in a traffic gam of a cantry side narrow road.
In spite of all these the lake is amazing.The villages around are a dream come true for all type of tourists - Sports, romantic, adventure...

I celebrated my cousin's wedding in one of their reception hall the meal the service was up to the name of this hotel and a staff at the top and what about the view

We just had an evening at the restaurant so no opinion of the rooms. Excellent hospitality, impeccable service, the second strong point, cooking, congratulations to the chef. A variety and a unique discovery of tastes with surprises. The tables are far enough away to allow you to enjoy without a neighbor glued to the side and the view ... beautiful. We will come back.

Not worth the luxury he claims! Room not refreshed. The cushions smelled of mildew! Several people were very cold during the meal ... in short I do not recommend this "palace" which may not even be equivalent to a 3+

Beautiful setting, architecture 1900, large bathroom, great team but bedroom window that closes bad draft, room that requires a youthful look, I found noisy but I think our room was above the restaurant .
We had a good time but was expecting something else from the sorry room.

We had lunch this Sunday afternoon with my family. Service irreproachable with a good staff. Very good table

Superb establishment. A nice spam, very large suite facing the lake. A small flat on the breakfast or the servers were quickly overwhelmed ... but otherwise it was perfect, nice hosts ...

We got married here. The place is beautiful. Views are perfect on a clear day. Value for money is really good for Annecy. Lots of activities to be done in the area like snorkelling, climbing or paragliding can be done. The lake is so clean. When we first saw it we immediately knew it was the right place to get married. If you are looking to get married in Annecy be prepared for some strict rules which the hotel put in place but it's all for good cause. They will build you the perfect day.

A place that presents very well on arrival, but the word Palace does not suit them, many things are to be reviewed, starting with the cleanliness of the rooms (dust on the lamps, black tile joint, dead fly in the chandelier). the swimming pool when it has its dilapidated ceilings, the non-functional sauna as well as the hammam, it's average .... the staff when it is welcoming and the restaurants have very good chef with a delicate and refined cuisine

Palace facing the lake with a magnificent view! A spa with heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room but as well say it's a municipal pool, dirty and deplorable! Mixed man cloakroom, hammam down for 1 month, a shame and a single shower! Another problem with the reception apparently does not take the American Express whereas it is specified of the opposite. We even blocked the booking with this payment method. It's a big flat. Fortunately we had another way of payment. Small room for the price that remains important.

Great views, awful hotel however. Looks fancy from the outside but it has dated furniture, lousy room service, expensive taxis (cheaper are available but they don t tell you!) and everything is out of bounds due to the covid - though the facilities near the beach are quite grimey even if they were functioning.

Simply magical. It deserves its palace name. Staff, benefits, magnificent view and exceptional restaurant. When you come to the seminar, you can only dream to come back as a couple and enjoy this beautiful place. For sure: I will come back with my beloved

Be careful not to make gift voucher cards because even by buying directly the Discovery service of the Palace of the Menthon (without going through booking) you can only book and enjoy your gift in winter and possibly in high season but only during the week. A real disappointment especially since the service has been cashed and that we have no choice to enjoy it.

Exceptional location, ideal setting. The hotel is good but a bit dated + hot water pressure pb.

Lack of staff bar close before midnight neglected service clean room on that side nothing to say

Superb magical place that transports you to a movie .... very welcoming staff gourmet restaurant of quality (we cracked for the cappuccino with truffle)
And we enjoyed the performance of Thomas at the piano .... we will come back. our stay was early August Mr And Mrs Tillier

Palace that is classy and classy in its own personal juice, the pool also.
Room tastefully decorated and comfortable bathtub.

BUT the rooms which are communicative are not soundproof, something that can be unpleasant for oneself as for the neighbor of room.
The staff took care to change our room.
