Things could be much better. First they should check the host families because when you arrive and find no one to welcome you in a city you have never been to and when you paid a certain price for good services it is not acceptable. And then they should propose more free or afordable activites and make sure that people from the same city or country dont spend their class time together because otherwise they will never speak english. But with my classmates we were in the highest group, and we had a amazing teacher. I still had a great time but i spent my time having fun and going around and not in class. For those who really want to learn english it is not the best school but for those who want to learn a little more because they are confortable with english it is a great school.

I studied at Kings LA for nearly 8 months last year. The teachers and stuff members are very professional and they really take good care of their students. I went there with a few health issues but they never became serious during my stay. Kings LA always has very diverse environment in terms of ethnicity and nationality. I really enjoyed to get to know students from all over the world. The diversity is a great advantage to brush up your language skills as much as your basic communication skills. Since the location of the school is in the heart of LA(Hollywood), you never get bored and it s not difficult to find an activity after school. At the end of your course, I'm sure you're gonna have so many friends.
Thanks to Kings LA, I now have confidence in my English and I'm studying physiology and anatomy at college in Vancouver, Canada.

Kings is one of the best schools i have ever been.I have been going there every summer since 2015.and i will go back the next summer.Thanks for them,my english has improved a lot.I have known a lot of new and nice people from all over the world.The staff and the teachers were so good and so welcomed.Kings made me also discover an extraordinary city.They have interesting activities every day and trips(sports,cinema ,theater...).So i recommend it for all of you..you will not be disappointed

Great school to learn English while having fun.
I spent 3 weeks at this school and don't regret a second of it. All teachers are incredibly nice and the school thinks up new exciting activities every day to make everyday life exciting. Just keep it up :-)

I agree, staff is so bad. The office lady is from, I believe, South America. I find it sad that my English is so much better then hers. I am more fluent and almost accent free. As you can see, my English writing isn't perfect. Therefore I was looking for an ESL school in LA to improve my writing skills. Don't bother going there you will be better of with a language school in Korea Town. Highly recommend Columbia West College!

I am very perplexed as to why this place only has 3 stars when it deserves a solid 3!!I consider myself very lucky to have found Kings Los Angeles and I absolutely love the people, teachers and the learning experience they offer.
I found out about them through a few friends who were raving about it, and indeed it surpassed my expectations.

A few years ago, I decided to improve my English skills by booking classes in a language school. However, I didn't just want to be an occasional tourist, but also learn a lot more about the culture in the U.S. I remember spending a lot of time searching for "the perfect school" - and I'm glad that I chose Kings! In the end, I stayed for a year (completed all levels and passed my Cambridge exam).
The staff is amazing and extremely helpful in different situations (problems with roommates, answers to visa questions or just about the different activities for the weekend) and the teachers are not just patient, but they also put heart and soul into their work so you can reach your goals!
The activities are changing regularly so you'll definitely find enough stuff that interest you and also will bring you closer to the culture.
I met some amazing friends and even years later, I have contact with them. I definitely recommend you visiting!
The certificates didn't just help me get my first internship after high school in Germany, but helped me getting better grades in Business English in University than I ever had in high school :-)

PS: No need for agency! The school is helping with the same stuff they would do, are much less complicated and you avoid extra costs :)

Was there for 3 months this year and was really a great experience! Nice teachers and great school! The location of the school is really perfect as it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the fame! Would visit this school again and can only recommend it!
