I met with Brennan at Pacific Solar when I decided it was time to look into solar for my home. After meeting with several people with different companies, I chose to move forward with Pacific Solar. I found I received the most honesty and knowledge from them. Brennan took the time to make sure I knew and understood all my options, then helped me to figure out what was best for me and my home.

Pleasant experience
In looking into SunPower residential solar, I did the diligent thing and shopped around. At first, this company was the highest bidder. I was also a little skeptical about the the small amount of reviews online. As negotiations became serious with other companies, Pacific Solar, who I had already dismissed, came in at the end with the lowest bid comparing apples to apples.
I purchased my system from them in Summer 2017 and glad that I did. From sales to installation, everyone did a great job and it went as smooth as expected. The only issue I have with the system is with the online monitoring from SunPower themselves (It doesn't read my usage, just production and I often get a "possible error" in displaying data message).
Other than that, I enjoy not having to pay PG&E thousands of dollars a year... and the rebate was cool too!
Pacific Solar is a great solar company to work with and I highly recommend them. They installed a large carport with 112 panels at our clinic (Madera Veterinary Center). The whole system looks great and we have received several comments about how nice the whole structure looks. We had a very strict deadline and they completed the project on time. Daniel helped us through every step of the process and was incredibly responsive to our needs. I liked Pacific Solar so much I had them install solar panel at my house! Quality work and great customer service.
Before installation: After my research I selected Pacific Solar for multiple reasons: Sun Power, 25 warranty, local business and good reviews. At first sales Leo would pick up phone calls and replied within a few minutes of text. From signing docs to complete installation was about 45 days (mid dec). All good which why have I have them 3 stars.
After installation: System had an internet hiccup with the monitoring at the start but went away. Early Jan hiccup comes back and has not been repaired since. Calls to Leo are not being answered or returned late, same with texts either no reply or a day or so later with no solution other then management will get back to you, nothing I could do. I called management and contractor myself, some returned calls but no solution or we will get back to you ...
I have had a few different companies bid for solar on my home. Pacific Solar was by far the best option; the quality of panel and install, the price point, and the offsetting of my PG&E bill are all within my wants and needs as a homeowner. Furthermore my energy consultant Brennan is an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable individual. I look forward to my next interaction with this locally owned and operated company.
Beware! My Sales rep, Brennan, got me to sign a contract for installing solar panels by promising is would be done in 2019, making me elig for the 30% tax rebate. Next they moved the installation to Dec 31, 2019. Then on the night before install called and rescheduled to Jan 2 2020, dropping rebate to 26%. Reason: busy with another job
Then on Jan 2 texted We have 2 installers out sick today because of that we are not able to install. Not a damn thing I can do about it because I relied on their verbal assurances.
The Pacific Solar crew was great! They were on time, clean and friendly. My solar system looks very clean even though I'm not able to see it from our front yard. Im so excited to not be dreading my PG&E bill!
I have decided to go solar since at the end of the year the tax benefits would be going away. We had put sun power on some of our other rentals and our businesses and being a building inspector I knew that sun power was a good product so I called the 800 number and they put me in touch with Pacific solar. They then had Brennan reach out to me. I had also contacted another company and that person didn t get back to me as quickly as Brennan did. Didn t help me as much as Brennan did. He s is was very helpful, he s very knowledgeable knows his product inside and out. Any question I had didn t matter how ridiculous I thought it was he had an answer for it. I m very happy with the installation and the way everything came out. The layout on the house was great, very clean. They were very professional and I have recommended them to several of my friends Who I know have been in contact with Brenenn.
This is my second review of Pacific Solar. They did the solar panels at my business (Madera Veterinary Center) and I was so impressed I had them install solar panels at my house as well. Their sales representative Daniel is great. He is very responsive and gets things done. From the day we said go to the day we were producing electricity was only about a month (mostly waiting on permitting). The entire crew was quick and did quality work. Pacific Solar and Valley Pacific Builders are easily the most professional, most reliable, and nicest contractors we have ever hired. We have used them for large jobs, medium jobs, and small jobs. We keep coming back to them. They installed our solar panels and still monitor them 3 years later. They have done roofing work, indoor electrical work, drywall, exterior wall reconstruction, and more. When we were remodeling and had a major electrical wiring dilemma, I called them for help, and they were out running new wire in 45 minutes. They are extremely smart and understand every detail of construction and residential contracting. We absolutely recommend them.
Pacific Solar did a great job for us. The price was very competitive. The work was done quickly and well. Brennan Atteberry provided great help and service, and still responds quickly whenever we have a question.

I never thought I would install solar or have it installed in my own home.
But with the costs of PG&E continually rising, I finally looked into the solar options available.
It was an interesting task.
There were huge companies, down to the new small first job, kind of contractors and their salesman, solar agents, specialists, and energy representatives, that my wife and I listened to them go through how and why we should only go with them and only use their company.
I like to check the background of businesses and find out everything I can if possible to help in making other decisions so, I did the same thing when choosing who to use for our Solar contractor.
Brennan was the representative with Pacific Solar and he scheduled his appointment, showed up on time and educated us about Solar, showing us the different types of systems, panel construction, brands of panels and returns on investment, all without pushing us or talking over us with sales talk that wouldn't do anything but make us feel uneducated.
He was knowledgeable and answered any questions that we asked, unlike the other companies that we spoke too.
From the first appointment thru permits, installation, system review, and final inspection, Brennan and Pacific Solar was obviously the best choice.
We are enjoying our system and not dreading the summertime cooling bills from PG&E like we used to have.
We are also set to look into an electric car in the future, knowing we planned our system for the charging of one if needed.
Still, without over installing to many extra solar panels just to "sell" a larger project like other companies, were promoting.
So if you are looking into Solar and you are not sure who to use, I would give you my 40 years as being a very picky contractor who's choice and recommendation would be to ask for Brennan with Pacific Solar.
You will get an honest and knowledgeable sales agent that will review your needs and design you a system that will meet all of your home, business, or project requirements within budget and on time with no headache.
After interviewing 5 solar representatives, we found Brennan to be the only honest one. He told us what we could expect and delivered exactly as he promised. We were so impressed, we went through him again to put solar on the second home on our property. Again, we were very happy with his service and attention. We are now considering using Brennan to get a back up generator.

We bought our system from Pacific Solar a few years ago and the sales and install process went really well, and we have been happy with systems operation. Now our Inverter has shorted and the company that makes the inverter has been giving us the run around. After some initial issues getting pacific solar to return my calls, finally got Solar Edge on the phone and found they were the issue. We are very happy with our new solar system. Pacific Solar was extremely professional at all times. We were originally referred to Pacific Solar by our daughter and her family who live in New York. They had solar installed about a year ago, and were also very happy with it.
