Contracting for almost 40 years myself,
I never thought I would install solar or have it installed in my own home.
But with the costs of PG&E continually rising, I finally looked into the solar options available.
It was an interesting task.
There were huge companies, down to the new small first job, kind of contractors and their salesman, solar agents, specialists, and energy representatives, that my wife and I listened to them go through how and why we should only go with them and only use their company.
I like to check the background of businesses and find out everything I can if possible to help in making other decisions so, I did the same thing when choosing who to use for our Solar contractor.
Brennan was the representative with Pacific Solar and he scheduled his appointment, showed up on time and educated us about Solar, showing us the different types of systems, panel construction, brands of panels and returns on investment, all without pushing us or talking over us with sales talk that wouldn't do anything but make us feel uneducated.
He was knowledgeable and answered any questions that we asked, unlike the other companies that we spoke too.

From the first appointment thru permits, installation, system review, and final inspection, Brennan and Pacific Solar was obviously the best choice.

We are enjoying our system and not dreading the summertime cooling bills from PG&E like we used to have.
We are also set to look into an electric car in the future, knowing we planned our system for the charging of one if needed.
Still, without over installing to many extra solar panels just to "sell" a larger project like other companies, were promoting.
