This was my first visit to the Pacific Science Center. I have to say that I had a very fun time! I think kids would enjoy it more but I had a blast as a child ;)
The first section is about dinosaurs. And the next one about science and space. It has lots of games for kids so we skipped it. Next time I will try the getting tickets for the planetarium and the laser exposition too!!! This time we were short in time because we got tickets for the China Gigants. Which was great!!! This is a temporary one but I bet they will keep bringing good stuff :)
The funniest part was the one in the upper level with science based games. We all learn a lot by playing :)
Outside are more games where you can play with water and ride a bicycle in the air!!! ( be sure to bring close footwear).
The China exposition was amazing. As far as I know, it will go only to Chicago and then back to China.
Afterwards, you can take a walk through the park or get into a folk fair as we did!! Great weekend :D

This place is rather a unique experience. I went to the IMAX and explored the different scientific developments here when I was a boy scout. I would recommend the Pacific Science Center to anyone stopping by in Seattle.

A wonderful science center that hits on a little bit of everything. Animals, climate, local environment, germs, building , space, robotic dinos, etc. Very cool and kid had a blast. The butterflies were gorgeous and I personally completely geeked out getting to play with a theramin.

It is a perfect place to bring kids because that is their target audience. They have from dinosaurs to planetarium and simple machines to magnets. Lots of hands on things to touch and play with.

PacSci is a great place for kids. And they do a lot in the community such as bringing 'science on wheels' (don't know what they call it) programs around the city or providing extensive summer youth programs. If you believe in science and want to support an exceptional youth-dedicated organization, this place is it.

Every Christmas I buy myself an individual membership here, a kind of gift to me, but also to the community. I know my membership supports great science programs for youth. But with that membership, I get in return a couple trips each year. IMAX movies are great. The butterfly house is simply awesome, and the temporary exhibitions are world-class.

If you have a family with kids, PasSci is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon day on the weekend. If not, it's a great place to support, through membership, as it has many wonderful science educational experiences and programs dedicated to the youth in the Seattle area community.

We had really nice experience by visiting the Science Center. It was Earth Day and Center had so many different activities, which involved children and adults, Butterfly garden was so beautiful.
Terracotta Warrior exhibit was fascinating, well organized and displayed.
Every single employee very knowledgeable, passionate, professional and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had here. Not many groups of just adults there, but I don't think it's a bad place to visit. Lots of things to learn and experience. I also recommend going for a laser show too. Those are always fun.

There is so much to see here at the Pacific Science Center. They are also part of the ASTC reciprocal admissions program, so if you are visiting and are a member of a science museum at home, be sure to see if your benefits include this wonderful program.

Terracotta warriors exhibit was very enjoyable. Also the butterfly house. We did not have children with us but they had great things for kids. Wished they had had miniture terracotta warriors to purchase in gift store.

wow, you'd think with a city like Seattle they'd put more emphasis on their science center, but no, its just a bunch of uninteresting and boring exhibits (if you can even call them that, they're more like displays, no more like uh...information? no, well I'll just call it mediocre garbage) I guess all these entitled millennial snowflakes don't like doing anything that isn't trending or "indie", they'd rather let their minds rot with pointless Buzzfeed quizzes and Starbucks coffee.

Having a toddler under three, the yearly membership is definitely worth it! It's the perfect indoor escape on rainy (or incredibly hot) days.

We typically start by the musical instruments (the giant guitar and pianos never get old).

They also have a great toddler play area which includes a water sensory table (Pro tip: there are toddler water jackets to the right of the play-area entrance). The play area also includes random things, like a room full of locks and knobs - great for developing fine motor skills, and a wheel with a worm gear viewing window so one can see how they are turning the giant propellers.

And I highly recommend taking a stroll through the butterfly room. My kiddo's eyes just light up every time he spies another butterfly.

The IMAX theatre is a great location to watch the latest movies as well!

What a jewel in the heart of the Emerald City. With all of the problems and blight in Downtown with the mental health, drug abuse and homelessness the Seattle Center and specifically the Pacific Science Center is an oasis.

After watching the latest feature film at the Boeing IMAX theatre, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, it gives you hope that good can overcome bad and that Seattle may be restored to it's previous glory.

May the Force be with you.

My 5 year old daughter absplutely loved this place! She said she wants to come back every day its open! We didn't even make it to all the exhibit buildings and were there all day! When it was closing time she was still saying she wanted to stay for a couple few more hours! This very well may have been one of her favorite days ever! We had a blast!

Famous and beautiful place, there are always lots of tourists, nice events on weekends, and when you come to Seattle, you need to visit Chihuly Garden and Glass, Space needle and Museum of Pop Culture.

This facility is amazing. We toured the center as well as watched an IMAX film. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Spent about 3 hours here with my 4 and 7 year old children but only looked through about 1/3 of the displays and activities. We got a membership and plan to come again very soon.

This museum is very cool, so many interactive exhibits and very interesting things to learn. It is great for kids, but we also really had a great time as well and we LOVED the latest Sherlock Holmes exhibit. If you can, go and check it out before it finishes, it was soooo much fun and a really great interactive experience!

My Family and I just absolutely LOVE visiting the Pacific Science Center every year when we come out to Vacation in the beautiful city of Seattle, Washington!! Lego exhibit was cool but very poorly organized. They force groups into a room to stand and watch a video which was silly before you can see the exhibit. Let people roam at their own pace instead of bottlenecking the crowd and having a massive horde trying to go through at one time.

This is a fantastic destination for anyone, but most especially for those with younger children. I personally really wanted to sit in the replica space capsule, but felt that the mass of kids waiting probably would get more out of it. There was an edible insect exhibit at that time, and as foodies, my wife and I were quite intrigued, but nothing looked even remotely appetizing. Well, they were bugs. The exhibits are plentiful, and there is something for absolutely everone to learn. Make it a part of your Seattle experience. You can get into a number of attractions with City Pass. Check it out.
