Fantastic place to bring kids or visit special exhibits.
Really though, it's for kids of all ages.
Almost always something new every time I visit. Of course, there are some things that have been around for decades as old favorites.
If you visit more than a couple of times a year, a membership is a must.
Parking is almost certainly going to be a pain. Plan on taking transit if you can and arrive on the monies for a full experience.

A huge science museum. Includes lots and lots of activities for children to experiment with different areas of science. Children enjoy learning a lot while playing. A lot of thought is invested. Successful and recommended

I love science, and I loved the the Pacific Science Center!

The museum is more of a complex though, with exhibits scattered across a few buildings. It did make for a slightly confusing trek through the Center, but we enjoyed exploring! Some of the exhibits are definitely old, and their age shows. However, the Center has a great mix of those, plus exhibits you can clearly tell are new or recent additions which helps keep it fresh! I especially loved that although they were a science center, they still had a not insignificant living collection onsite. Among these the tidepool touch tank, along with reptiles, small mammals, and an entire butterfly exhibit! These were definitely added pluses to the typical displays.

Disappointing

Disappointing

The exhibits are way outdated

Decent experience in the butterfly pavilion but other than that this is not worth a visit.

Always a pleasure. Fun, great culture and hands on tinkering for me and kids. Satisfies my sensory needs and my son with asperger. We love it here. A few hours, water, electricity, laughing, learning and we'll worth it!

Absolutely awesome. Can easily spend most of an entire day inside. Great hands on activities, short to long IMAX movies to break up some of the experience. Food options inside were not great though. The VR section is only getting better.

Outdated exhibits and a lot of things just downright didn't work. It was a sad visit because you could tell this places prime was long ago. Laser show was laughably bad. My daughter fell asleep during the daft punk show.

Loved this place! The family had a great time here exploring the science museum, then capping it off at the IMAX movie at the end. If you have children, I can't think of anything more fun and interesting to do if the weather keeps you inside.

Trying to get into the science center was nothing short of a nightmare. Lines were unorganized, would've been helpful for a staff member to be outside were the mob was to direct patrons into the lines they needed to be. My daughter who is 10 was also very disappointed in the center and wasn't as interested in it as she was at others she's been to.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful day here. We took in the terracotta warriors exhibit, watched an imax movie, and took in the other exhibits. We arrived early to get a parking stall at the science center, I would suggest anyone else visiting to do the same.

They recently moved all good movies to PACCAR theatre, its a small room with small screen. Worse than college lecture rooms, you might do better watching the movie in a conference room with better seating and sound quality. Boeing theatre used to be good, but they dont show movies there anymore. You would save money going to regular cinema with much more enjoyable experience. If you are driving from Eastside its absolutely not worth it.

We took our granddaughter to the children's museum here. I don't know if they were gettng ready for some new exhibits, bit what they had looked a little tired. T reminded me of a visit to Epcot Center where about half of the choreographed robots didn't work, or were doing random things.

The Pacific Science Center needs a better visionn of what they are trying to be. On our visit, there were animatronic dinosaurs co-located with Mercury and Gemini era spacecraft. I suppose you could make the argument that both represent "dinosaurs"; some real and others metaphorical. I think they can do better.

Iconic Seattle stop. Lots here for family and kids. Always changing and intriguing. Great tourist and family activity day stop. Not a lot of food options so eat before you go or have plans after. A+

I love this place. Lots of shows, learning for Adults and Kids! We had a bday party here and my daughter loved it. We definitely want to come here again. The only problem is that this place is super expensive. But it was not worth it. I still believe you would like this place. Thanks for reading this review.

Simply the best science center I have been to. Which is saying something as I frequently travel and have been to many. Fun for adults and even better for children.

Great date idea or weekend trip with the kids.

Easy transportation to and from the Seattle center, large amount of food options, great admission and event pricing.

Educational? Check. Fun? Check. All Ages Friendly? Check. I ve gone here as an adult with other adults friends and had a blast as well as I ve taken my nephew and who was equally amused and entertained. This is a fantastic place to spend the day as a family, on a date, or with friends.

The pacific science center is amazing. My kids loved "Grossology", "Harry Potter", "Pompeii", and" King Tut". So far I have not witnessed a time that when we are about to leave, the kids don't plead, "5 more minuets, pleeease?"

The exhibits are rarely broken or not working anymore. The workers are nice and helpful. Definitely recommend for field trips and sometimes birthday trips.

One of the best places to visit in Seattle whether you have young kids or just want to explore science. Top quality visual and interactive exhibits that will interest anyone of any scientific knowledge level. While I can't say the cafeteria food is all that great, the experience is a must for anyone visiting Seattle. The rotating exhibits are always recommended. Make sure to check the schedule to see if there is a planetarium or science presentation available.

This place has been a staple to child education and entertainment in the NW since I can remember. I had a field trip here back in the early 90's and have loved it ever since. I have taken my kids here since they were babies. The butterfly exhibit is the best. But my favorite is still the animatronic dinosaurs. Tons of stuff to interact with. The parking garage can be tricky in a larger vehicle though.

We took our kids to the Camp-in to see the Tut exhibit, and the rest of the center last night. The experience was unique. We spent $60 per person. They provide you with a snack (consisting of stale chips, with nasty nacho cheese, and watery salsa.

The Tut exhibit was a disappointment. When I saw the exhibit 30 years ago, they had the sarcophagus, death mask, etc. I expected to see these again, as that is the advertising you see. But, while the pieces they had were beautiful, I felt a bit cheated. The camp-in itself was a joke. Unorganized, and seeming to be run by teenagers. In spite of the seeming value, it was a "never again" experience for us.

This place is amazing. There is something for every age, even my picky 13 year old with the bad attitude. We had so much fun. There is even fun stuff in the bathrooms. I will definitely come here again. The butterfly room was magical!! Price was right!! You will not be disappointed!
