PacSci is a great place for kids. And they do a lot in the community such as bringing 'science on wheels' (don't know what they call it) programs around the city or providing extensive summer youth programs. If you believe in science and want to support an exceptional youth-dedicated organization, this place is it.

Every Christmas I buy myself an individual membership here, a kind of gift to me, but also to the community. I know my membership supports great science programs for youth. But with that membership, I get in return a couple trips each year. IMAX movies are great. The butterfly house is simply awesome, and the temporary exhibitions are world-class.

If you have a family with kids, PasSci is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon day on the weekend. If not, it's a great place to support, through membership, as it has many wonderful science educational experiences and programs dedicated to the youth in the Seattle area community.
