Splashy lobby area, lots of glossy multi-colored marble. Everything looked clean, but the rooms smell of B.O. as soon as you walk in. I think they need to buy either new carpet or new mattresses.

Matt the man the legend HIMSELF (this is about the restaurant)

On my way in, I thought i was just gonna have an average experience at this place. But as Matt comes with his astonishingly amazing service with the most baffling attention to details, he changed my mind. He was such a kind, caring person, serving each and every customers with compassion and respect.

The constant smile on his face shows how passionate he is to his job, yet he is always calm, responding to every request from customers, even when they are just silly and inane requests.

Although we are thankful to him for his service, he s the one thats always appreciate the customers. We strongly believe that Matt has gained all the skill of serving customers through his own hands on experience, he should be promoted to a level well beyond being a server. He mastered the art of serving, showing promising capabilities that is both beneficial to the hotel and to the vast population of customers.

Very friendly staff. Booked through Priceline and had some issues upon checkin. Priceline stated king bed, but it was a queen with a up charge for king. We paid for the upgrade, but was later comped due to an electrical problem in the room. Also had an unexpected parking charge. Overall it was a good experience for the one night.

Close to the richmond night market, st. Monica church, aberdeen, yaohan. It was the optimal place to stay in. It was within a 10 minute drive to all of the places i visited. The service was really nice and quick.

We had a delayed flight and stayed at this hotel for a night/day. The staff are so incredibly friendly and go well above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We did not pack coats and they gave us warm sweaters to use when we went downtown for the morning. So lovely!

Rooms are comfortable and this hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. In my opinion breakfast is overpriced but the new Deck restaurant is quite nice. My biggest complaint is with the management who don t allow the front desk staff the authority to do anything other than say hello and ask for a credit card. I ll forego specific examples, of which i have a few during the course of multiple visits, for i feel that the front desk staff would suffer negative consequences. Empowering your front desk staff and eliminating ridiculous hotel policies will earn the Pacific Gateway Hotel 5 star reviews from me in the future.

Great hotel close to the airport. Nice river views with clean and spacious rooms. I like the day stay option. It's 10 min walk to outlet mall. Love the free shuttle to/from the airport every 20 min.

Fairly close to the airport, pretty standard hotel. The hotel restaurant is kinda pricey and other restaurants are just outside of what I'd consider "walking distance (but the Flying Beaver is worth the hike/taxi!).

The 6:10 AM shuttle bus to the South Terminal was full, and the staff seemed a little confused. They first told us that 6:10 was the earliest bus and that they would put us in a taxi and post the fare for us. A short time later, they told us they couldn't do that, and that they would put us on a 5:50 bus.

Also, they told us the wrong room number at check-in, we found out when our keys didn't work.

View of the river from our room was pretty good to my taste.

Overall, I would consider going again.

Service was very good as was the food. We were a group of ten and I didn't hear any negative comments at all. Rather varied beer selection and not just the usual offerings.
My only gripe was that it was a chilly rainy February day, and with all those windows it was a bit cool inside.
I would return again though without hesitation.

The cost was around $50 from tsawwassen ferry terminal to hotel if you want to take a taxi at night. It doesn't have a convenience store near the hotel. So you have to get before go to hotel if you need something.
We needed a milk for my daughter and we bought it. We paid $12 for 2 cups of medium size coffee cup. It was not bad because we get it. The milk was important for us.
Thank you for great service to my daughter.

Nice hotel near the airport and the water with amazing views. Hotel has two Tesla High Power Wall connectors available for free use you just have to pay for parking. Hotel price is high but not as high as other hotels in the area of this quality.

Hotel near the Int. Vancouver airport.

Hotel near the Int. Vancouver airport.
Shuttle service to and from the airport every 20 minutes.
There is a coffee shop and a restaurant overlooking the Fiber River.
Rooms are ok, mattresses not too soft.
All in all ok for one night.

Asked for a quiet room at check-in, should have stayed at the National Convention of Loud Idiots. Asked to be moved to a quiet room again and had to pay upgrade fee. Our group decided to go to offsite restaurant for meals as attached restaurant food is poor. Lobby restaurant wants $20 per person for hours old food on breakfast buffet. Service staff very nice. Rooms exceptionally clean.

First of all the service was great. I found the room we had to be a little dated for what I expected of the reputation and online rating of the hotel. We had a single queen bed room and it suited our needs, but comparing it to others, I expected it'd be a bit nicer inside.

Great hotel. I stay here a lot for work. Good food, breakfasts, and coffee bar. Nice rooms. The big issue is that it's hard to get to the train from here. Best thing to do is to get a day pass in the hotel and then walk to the bus stop, take the bus to the train.

Good sized room, modern bathroom, clean, great pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bed sagged in the middle though. Staff were really accommodating and checked us all in at about 3am when our flight was cancelled and we needed last minute accommodation.

Great location for a conference and convenient location near the airport. Free shuttle to link you to and from the airport, which has great transit options around it to surrounding communities. Food is well prepared and the rooms are comfortable.

Rumour has it the top floor was gutted and turned into a nightclub at 1/4 scale for the dwarf and midget communities that travel to Vancouver to participate in the Christmas film industry. I've never been able to gain access to prove it, but when I questioned the bellboy he gave me a wink and a sly grin. He knew something but he must've thought I was too much of a square to be made hip to it. I stiffed him on the tip and spent the rest of my stay cruising craiglist for new friends. None were under 5 foot.

It was freezing cold when I was there and looking to warm up. They don't have a hot tub unfortunately. I went to The Deck to eat and you have to go outside to get there. The room was ok but the tub did not make me want to have a bath in it. Also, the room was quite noisy and I could hear lots of noise from the hallway.

Well worth the money. Nice clean room. Friendly, curtious staff. Helpful. Easy drive to Downtown Vancouver. Shuttles provided to many locations if driving is a problem. Close to many trendy food locals. Slightly dated in some areas but easily overlooked for the comfort of stay. Recommend this hotel and would stay again.
