I just got into Pacific Coast Hobbies around 2 years ago I bought my first rc car there and literally I fell in love with them it's amazing they can help you with anything you want or need they help you get your first car they give you ideas of what to do they're always telling you what's new the little mini races that have are also nice it way to hang out with people family you should definitely take a look at it and your phone love not only with the cars there's helicopters and many more

All I have to say I love this store ...just recently bought the 8s arma outcast

I bought a small car for my son lasted not even one month and they told me to call the manufacture

This place has everything you need. But what really keeps me coming back is the customer service. Kendall is always there with a smile and happy to help. Thumb's way up!

Great place and great variety of Gundam models to ensamble as well of starwars

Employee waa lock of knowledge what there selling that it should be they know how to demonstrate the product that they have to be convenient on customer to buy and be part associated on branch for not to lose customer.

I must admit...at first I was seriously impressed by the first visit. Then disappointed because of down time for repairs of my model....BUT!!!,and this is the best part people...
I was incredibly impressed by the staff at their commitment to regaining my trust again.

They talk you into buying all kinda stuff you don't know how to install, the staff is great if you got Josh or kendall, the owners wife is snobby stuck up and self seemingly snobbish accusing every one of falsly stalking her, Please.....if your going in there expecting results, your only going to get mad with how much money your gonna be dishing out for parts and accessories.you will never see me step foot into this business again
When I go to my shed I see the hundreds of dollars I wasted lying on the floor , it's disheartening and pathetic to think these guys let me spend hundreds and dollars to never see it run. I wish I would of got help in diagnosing problem instead of spending hundreds of dollars for it to not even work. I'm saddened to think that a hobby shop like this inspires people to buy in hopes of getting out what they put into it, but unfortunately stacking on one thing after another to have the end result nulled out and not work. I have decided to get out of the rc game because it has never been fun for me due to the inconsistencies in information given to me by numerous uneducated product acknowledgement awareness employees looking to stick you with a whole bunch of product that is either too complicated to figure out and or unfamiliar to me which I'm stuck with putting on myself, or in my case to sit and collect dust with no solution in sight

I've been going to PCH since they opened. Their staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Over the years I've bought RC cars, helicopters, and quadcopters from them - it's always been a great experience. The only way they could improve is if they sold Pizza Pockets. Also, they've always been really helpful to my dad. Great place; great people.

Customer service stinks like dead rats.
I was told that I pulled my card out the machine before the transaction was complete. Rather than run the card again, the manager proceeds in an attempt to prove to me that there was no charge.

I plead with her, don't let my trip be wasted! Let me pay cash or with another card for the items I need. She ignores me, I leave. Worst experience of my life. The once knowledgeable clerks are no longer employed there, and the current staff is operating with limited knowledge of the sport.
Good shops are hard to come by, and this is not one. Plz shop elsewhere.

Very good service and they can tell you what you can get in your price range.I went there only had $150-$190 and they told me about 3-5 rc cars and thats good because the other hobby shops didn't have any.It is very good and no problems it goes 30+MPH.I would go back any time.

Do not do business with these people. They sell you the wrong parts. They waste your time. I recently called them up and spoke with the manager about selling a large scale aircraft to them. He asked me for specifics, size, condition. All pertinent facts. He told me he was interested and to bring the item in. He told me that they are always looking for unique aircraft to buy. He even made me an offer over the phone stating that if the item was in the condition I said it was, then we had a deal. I lugged that airplane all the way down to their store. ( New in Boxes) The manager refused to come out and some low level employee told me they were not interested. I asked to speak to the manager and he/they refused. This is no way to run a business. I will never set foot in that store again. I caution everyone to be wary....Bad business practices.

Hi, today you guys sent me a motor for my 350 QX by USPS. The thing i want to know is that in the email that you sent me there was an address that wasn't mine.

They are very nice and help you with the thing you need for any type of RC and if they don't have it in stock they can oder it for you

So cool! Drones galore! The only reason I'm taking a star off is because of the prices, definitely more than a "hobby" if you're spending this type of dough folks, but definitely worth a visit!!

Local favorite spot for hobby supplies and it shows why they've been around for so long. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.

This hobby shop is stocked and ready for lots of holiday shopping!
They have an onsite workshop in case you need repair help. This Saturday I was helped by the tall guy from the 'other' front counter. Sometimes if you aren't there to drop lots of cash 'help' can be hit or miss, but this time purchased a $20. replacement piece & he explained it to me thoroughly and made sure I knew what to do with it when I got it home!
They have lots of large scale cars & trucks, every kind of airplane you could want, several pretty good sized speed boats along with tons of hobby related toys & games. All of the upgrades & replacement parts for whatever your passion is!
I can't say enough about how well stocked the store seemed. (made me glad I left the wallet at home, cause I'd probably spent the paycheck right there!)
They don't stay open real late so go early.

Knowledgable and friendly staff. Has many kits/rtr on displayed. Support your local hobbyshop before they are all gone. There's nothing better than to actually see and feel the kit before buying it.

So far I've gone twice, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and very pleasant people. They helped me with an old RC car I was trying to rebuild but I bought a new Traxxas stampede. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back in the future

I bought a ready to run RC at this store. It stopped running only after 5 times use. I asked them for replace or return but they didn't accept just because it was used. How could I possibly know the product had a problem before I use it??? They were just pushing me back and telling me to talk to maker and didn't even try to be responsible. They are like trying to protect the maker and themselves against customers even though their product has a problem. This is not the only reason why that was the first and the last time I bought something from them.

This place has it all and they don't charge alot .people working could be useful if they wanted to ...

Better stock than your local Hobby People; the staff in my experience is generally uninformed aside from one or two people.

Great shop! If they don't have the part you need in stock, they will look it up and order it right there. I come here for all my rc hobby needs. Huge selection of stuff ranging from rockets, models, trains, drones, planes, and cars. Go here if you need anything hobby!

I m giving them one star the reason is I had wanted to get an airplane first of all the selection of airplanes wasn t great but it was like an impulse buy otherwise I would have just ordered one online to wich these days is the best way to buy any RC hobbie items so I picked out this airplane and it wasn t a BNF or a RTF as I wanted to assemble it as this is part of the RC hobby I enjoy anyhow I asked the guys there if they have all the parts needed to build the plane and get it in the air first guy said he doesn t really know much about flying models and passed me off to a guy who knows everything about flying models so he looked on the box at the list of parts needed to finish at this point he started pulling out servos said they would work well they were too big and didn t fit I understand that when building a model you have to sometimes make things fit but I told the guy these aren t what the box says and he replied oh these are pretty close then for the motor he grabs one with the same kv rating the box says and hands it to well this motor had the wrong mounting points and didn t fit the planes motor mount it s like they just pulled a bunch of parts just to make the sale they could have said oh we don t have these parts cause it s not like I could look at a variety of parts and pick for my self as all these parts are in a drawer or behind the counter so if I had picked out the wrong parts okay that would be on me but they picked out the stuff and said The stuff would work anyways some more knowledgeable staff would be nice just not people trying to schlep random parts off to people saying it will work I would have appreciated them telling me that didn t have the right parts at that point I would have picked something else out yet another lesson to buy all my RC stuff online where I can pick the exact things I need for my builds brick and mortar stores just don t have it anymore

Very very unhelpful staff. They only have a smile on their faces when white people visit the store and when they have questions for them. If other races visit the store you don't get a hello and when you ask for help they seriously act like they don't understand what you are looking for or will say "no, we don't have it in stock, try another hobby shop"

I bought a $59.99 rc helicopter and it didn't work. Gears for sterring move but rotors don't spin which is odd. I even went through the manual and charged battery before first use. I called them and asked if I could go back to store and I was only told to read the manual.

Not only that but receat says No returns of electronics or engines due to manufacturer policy. It also says that box must be unopened. How was i suppose to know if it worked or not before testing?

I have been spending major cash $$$ there so it has to be the Best. So yeah it is the very best RC remote control cars plane's trains tell them Brook sent you

I was just here recently to look for a drone and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful on helping me choose what to buy. They even know about upcoming products, and if they will have them or not ahead of time. Not only drones, this place has everything for any hobby imaginable. Trains, cars, boats, models, electronics. Collectibles. Prices are fair for a local place that can always have what you need on hand and not bother waiting for shipping.

At Pacific Coast Hobbies for the enthusiast you can find a wide variety of your favorite hobby whatever it may be and more. They have children's Hobby and some toys there's complete slot cars and separate cars of your choice plastic model kits cars and airplanes rockets that shoot up in the sky remote control airplanes and very few Nitro RC they still sell the Nitro fuel but they've discontinue the Nitro to go green because of people and the noise of the nitro cars or trucks. Now they have the electric and brushless Hobby and for you train lovers they have complete train products separate train tracks and Landscaping I've been shopping at Pacific Coast hobby for a while now to get all my needs that I want so if you're just starting out this is the place that you want to go the employees there are great very helpful in the knowledge of the products that they sell like Kindle and Brian and a few other employees so P C H gets a 5***** on my experience with the hobby shop.

I always research products to death, but PCHobbies has become my number one store for everything RC related and more. The staff is knowledgeable and takes a certain pride of ownership in the store. Each member has a certain specialty in RC. It's a great place for the beginner to the advanced enthusiast.

I've read good and bad reviews for any store, but my advice to all is to make good relationships with the guys who share your passion for the hobby, especially in the stores. It is all about a respectful exchange of information and ideas that makes this hobby great! I've traveled hundreds of miles for that information. Also, remember, buying online is one thing, but having the products and support in front of you is priceless.

I came for supplies for working on my Gundam models. As a lady hobbyist I was a bit nervous but the staff here was friendly and knowledgeable - they treated me well. While their Gundam model selection was a bit small, their paint, pens, and blades were well stocked. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Had a good experience here today. Friendly staff. Lots of cool product. And wow a great selection of Legos too, Im going to buy my legos here from now on, way better Lego selection than Target!
