This is such value for money. I love the mixed mushroom tagliatelle. Though i would prefer if it was more al dente. Overall, i had a satisfying meal and i ll definitely be back.

Nice and cosy. The food is superb. But the wait time is too long. Approx 45 min for our pasta and pork chop.

Solid choice for pasta and wine. Rocked on up on a Friday night without a reservation and got a table for 3. Very helpful staff. Ordered at the counter, got some delicious pasta, all fresh and cooked to order. Loved the carbonara, others had the Italian sausage and al ragu. All great.

Reasonably priced pastas given the restaurant's location, but the food turns cold quickly due to the metal plates they serve it on. Nice ambience with average food.

The mushroom pasta is the most worth it pasta I had in a while, I would wait for 30min but not 45min, so that's why it is 4 stars.

Saw the good reviews and tried it. It was tasteless and can tell they cut costs in any way possible, from the ingredients to the way you need to self service absolutely everything. Anyone can make better pasta. Even the fries were oddly fried with calamari batter. Stay away from this place

This is bomb. Just get it.

Amatriciana (Red): 4 stars
Very creamy and yummy for a red sauce.

Prawn and Saffron (Cream): 2.5 stars
A bit of false advertising there was not much cream in this sauce. The prawns were delicious and fresh though.

Tagliatelle: 5 stars
Fresh, soft egg pasta.

Gnocchi: 3.5 stars
Not bad but a bit firmer than I like them.

Decent pasta. Ambience was good and staff were friendly.

If you can't even give me a glass of tap water with my $15 bowl of pasta cos you want to force me to buy a bottle (gouging money and unnecessary use of plastic/glass) then this is my first and last visit.

Shame cos the expensive bowl of pasta was not bad.

Would describe the food and ambiance of this place as an atas pasta mania. Good prices and very friendly lady at the counter, quality of food is reflected in the price point so don t expect quality of the fancier pasta shops down the street.

Deducting one star because my pasta came clumpy and the chef was so heavy handed on the garlic!

If you like pasta do not hesitate to go here. Their homemade pastas are very good. I hope someday they're going to sell their homemade pasta. They also have everyday's special, one of those is the tuscan rosemary chicken it took too long to cook for about 20mins because it was stewed but i tell you it was worth the wait. I really enjoyed eating their. I will make time to go some other time and i will bring my family and friends.

The meal was delectable and the service was pleasant! The people here take pride in their food and are more than happy to advise the pasta and sauce pairing. Love the casual and homely atmosphere. The anchovy sauce is a must-try. One visit is not enough because there's just too much good stuff to choose from!

Standard dropped tremendously.
The pasta that we had was all clumped up.
The ravioli skin was hard.

Waited 45mins for food to come on Friday evening. No indication was given that we had to wait so long. Pasta was good for the price tho.

Very fast service, i loved their traditional bolognese and handmade pasta better to eat when it's hot. I'll recommend this to my friends.

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars. The eggplant was creamy, the egg and prosciutto pasta was deliciously intriguing and the meatballs were plump and tender. Prices were reasonable though they didn t have tap water so you re required to buy a $6 bottle of water.

However, it s all in the pasta isn t it. Both pastas felt like it just crossed the threshold of being overcooked. Both plates had problems with pasta clumping together (think meepok that has been dabao ed) and I saw pasta that was spooning one another (insufficient stirring while boiling of pasta ?) look at the pictures attached..

As time went by and I went though half the pasta, the cold pasta clumps got worse (understandably)..

All in all. It was a great visit albeit the pasta problem, but I boil it down to a rushing Chef, overly cold AC or it sitting on the waiting area before being picked up.

I m looking forward to my next visit actually.. I hope to upgrade this rating. I ll get the eggplant, carbonara and meatballs this time round.

Edit : I returned for my next visit and ordered the carbonara and meatballs. This time the pasta was too watery and the wait as usual was too long. unfortunately I'll have to strike this place off my to-go place for pastas..

Food was ok, but the service was terrible. Please settle the counter lady, she argued with a customer about having a less spicy aglio olio for five minutes, and told me in my face to "remind my table not to drink our own water bottles" THREE times (we did not) as they had their own water. Furthermore, she did not allow me to choose a certain noodle with my carbonara because they don't recommend it. What, why?

Refreshing to have good quality pasta that is not ridiculously overpriced in Tanjong Pagar. Good ambience plus fuss-free service (hence no service charge). Certainly a gem in this neighborhood. Highly recommended!

came here with my girlfriend and had the Roman carbonara n amattriciana and both were outstanding. roman carbonara was cooked without cream, exactly the traditional way with egg yolk and cheese!! Amazing!! will definitely come back again n again

My favourite italian place in the east. affordable prices, good portions and its really authentic and delicious (coming from someone who has travelled to italy). Highly recommend ordering their fresh pasta eg tagliatelle, but honestly I've tried almost everything on the menu and they're all amazing. Can't wait to go back now that it reopened for phase 2

Pretty great place for pasta! You pick your pasta (wide selection) and then your "flavour". They've got things like meatball (which was very nice!), pesto, carbonara, etc. Also have a selection of sides like truffle fries and fried mozzarella which were all pretty good! Also have some imported beers to top off the experience! Great overall! Only drawback is that the place is a little small and noisy and fills up quickly, so do make a reservation (while they're still taking them, don't think it'll last for long).

Nica pasta restaurant, delicious bolognese. The only thing is the queue for ordering is narrow so a bit difficult for collecting the food since the concept is self service.

Cheap, value for money, good quality pasta! It's also a small and cost little outfit that's self service to save on cost.

Ordered the Seafood pasta and Vongole Spaghetti to be delivered to my parents house as a belated Mother Day s celebration. Delivery was prompt and my parents enjoyed the pasta very much. They were gushing about how fresh the seafood is and how big the squid rings are. My parents aren t usually easy to please when it comes to food, they expect high quality ingredients, great taste and also good portions. So, I believe this restaurant met all their expectations. Thank you for making them so excited and happy!

Love the fried mozzarella. Lots of pasta dishes to choose from. I ve tried 4-5 and they re all good. Good price for the area. Great place for a casual dinner with friends.

The food served was superb, wide variety of pasta to choose from. Prices ranging upwards of 13.80. Friendly staff, soft background music and cozy interiors.
The metal edges of the table was sharp and peeling off, almost got a cut from it.

100%DO NOT recommend this Italian eatery. The food was horrendously bad. The truffle fries was over done and likely fried in very old stale oil. Tasted hard and bitter and did not have aroma of potato and truffle at all. The Calamari was skinny and dry and tasteless. Obviously lousy frozen ingredient to begin with and with non passionate cooking. Finally...the pasta. A total disaster. You dare call this a homemade pasta! The texture is far from decent worse than those machined made ones sold in supermarkets. The pappardelle clumped together like some melted twine and taste of the sauce was below average. The ragu was tough. From the food, i conclude this chef is inexperienced and has no passion in cooking, and probably does not taste before serving. Better wake up!

First time and the last time here. We ordered a bottle of mineral water (Aqua Panna). It took 20mins before it came to us and another 2 mins for our 2 cups. Spent 20-25mins for my food to be served. The whole system seems to be very messy and staffs are inexperience to handle as the crowd stream in. Not a recommended place at all!

Delicious Authentic Italian Food at reasonable prices. Mainly self service. Pork belly is deliciously char broiled. Pastas are great too!

Was expecting a lot better judging from the rave reviews. We ordered the pork sausage ravioli, truffle carbonara and parmesan rosemary fries, all of which were mediocre in terms of taste. The parmesan rosemary fries was severely lacking in seasoning in addition to being rather mushy inside. The truffle carbonara was clumpy and one dimensional in flavour. The ravioli was noticeably better than the other two thanks to the sauce but it was not able to save the entire meal. Might have just caught them on a bad day but I highly doubt that I would come back here again.

Went for tiramisu and coffee. Coffee was average. Tiramisu was not good, dry, a little stale. Overall impression was disappointing given all the good reviews. Didn't try main course so can't comment.

We had a steak which was beautifully cooked to medium rare and a pesto pasta. Would definitely come back again

Used their online reservation system to book dinner for 2 in the near future and told them in the message that I was trying to book a date from overseas for my upcoming trip (i.e. I'm not and don't live in Singapore). Got a reply back that I should phone their Singapore number to make a reservation for more than one person! Totally worthless to be using an online booking system if you're required to make a phone call to reserve a table, especially after telling them I'm from overseas. Well, I'm not making an international call to make a reservation and will find another place to eat.

Not as wow as the last time, but not bad either. A bit crowded as it was the last day of the year, luckily can still find a table for walk in. Appetizers were good, main course just ok. Will still come back if caving for Italian food.

A quaint and classy place, offering delicious pasta at affordable prices. I totally loved the pasta, it was handmade, and is very comforting. I requested for a pasta upsize, which came at only an additional $2, and I recieved a very large and filling portion. Feels light and healthy as well. My pasta came with a serving of rocket salad on top, adding some crunch and more taste to it!

We have visited the place a couple of times. The pastas are consistently great and drinks are affordable. Great place for a simple meal or a team dinner.

Pasta was cold and had very little sauce. The noodles were clumpy as well. The pizza was nothing really special too.
Although i loved the Italian vibes of the decor, the food can really be stepped up. A friend recommended this place but perhaps the standard dropped over the past few months...

I really love the food here... It's really delicious....my mum enjoyed the traditional al ragu n I really loved the jumbo meatballs. And the portobello fries were magical.

Food was reasonably priced and choice of pasta was wide. The waiting time for food to be served was a tad too long though.

Pasta always al dente but for most options, it lacks meat and toppings so really just eating carbs the whole way. But it is definitely authentic Italian for sure

good service, cozy atmosphere. tables can be a little hard to get so come early to get a decent place, otherwise you might be stuck with bar or wall-facing seats.

I feel very strongly about the fried and the calamari frito pasta with tagliatelle egg pasta - handmade. Cosy little place with really good pastas at a reasonable price.

The egg pasta works well with the carbonara Roma cream sauce base.

Food remind me of italy! it is as authentic as it can get. You know the pasta and pizza is handmade when you bite into it.Prices was affordable. It's a vegetarian friendly place too. We were too hungry to take any pictures.

Portions very small and inconsistant. The ravioli last time the portion was smaller than this time bigger. So when my friend ordered it was a little disappointed that now the portion was bigger. In contrast my agilio olio portion was halved compared to the last time we ate here. Taste is alright.

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered lobster pasta but got served a tiny crayfish the size of my spoon that was so salty. Taste just like a spoon of salt. Not worth $25.

They don t serve water here. And buying bottled water is bad for the environment. Egg Pasta had nice consistency but sauce was a bit too salty after awhile... didn t feel like finishing the whole plate. I ordered the ragu with tagliarini pasta noodles.

Standard has dropped since my last visit. Now i can barely see any ingredient in my pasta and the pasta texture is too soft.

Homely environment, friendly staff with excellent food. Foods are reasonably priced with large portions ,specially enjoyed the Al Ragu with their in house gnocchi for only $15.80, would definitely be back for more!

Came here with a group of friends and all of us enjoyed the food. The pasta was very very good. Very authentic Italian flavours. Will definitely come bk again n again. Owners were friendly and knowledgeable .
