Do you want an easy and straightforward loan experience? Do you hate fees? Can't quite find that superstar loan officer? If Chris Stapleton had a brother in the real estate lending business, it would be Bryan Miles with OVM Financial. Pre-approval to closing day was a smooth as Tennessee whiskey. Sweet as strawberry wine, Bryan paid a lot of my fees for me and when it came down to it, I had a little left over at the closing table that I was able to put towards the loan or pay down other debts. 10/10 would definitely go through it all over again.

I did not have a great experience with this company and would not recommend. The loan officer I worked with was unprofessional. Whenever I sent documentation in and asked loan officer to acknowledge receipt of documentation , he never responded . If I emailed him, he never responded . If I called him , most times I got his voicemail . The only time that the loan officer was diligent in responding was when he wanted me to bring the correct amount to closing. My closing was 5 days late because they were requesting things last minute . I contacted the supervisor of the loan officers and he tried to justify why they were late . I explained that I understood that things happen but my concern was more so about the communication and interaction with the loan officer during the process . He tried to make an excuse for the lack of professionalism but reassured me they would try to speed things up so that the closing could take place . Other loan officers here may have exceptional service but the loan officer I worked with has left a bad taste in my mouth and there I would not recommend based on the interaction . The only good thing is at this time of review my closing is complete.

We closed on a house with OVM and our loan officer was Aaron Legum. Despite being our loan officer for one of the largest and most important things in our life we never even spoke to him. Jenna who was great, handled everything for us from questions, to the signing. Everything was done across country so I wish someone went over the contract with us since it was our first time purchasing a home but instead we were rushed to hurry up and sign. We asked them to extend it but the whole thing at the end was very confusing. There were at least 7 people involved and I still am confused on a lot of the ends. Just wish our actual loan officer was involved at least somewhere in the mix instead of a generic email congratulating us on our closing and that's it.

The experience at OVM, in particular with Bryan Myles was not a pleasant one at all. The first time I spoke to Mr. Myles he wasn t courteous. If he spoke with my Mother twice that was a lot. His communication skills needs work. He wasn t helpful and didn t aid us in the application process. He handed in our paperwork to the underwriter without careful review with ultimately lead to a sabotaged deal. We signed endless papers and did the final walk through and after two months ended up with nothing. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Unsatisfied for sure.
POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE. I was referred to these folks from a friend. What began as a fine experience morphed into curt and bordering on rude email follow ups. If you are not tech savvy or if you don't have a great IT set-up be aware. you may have issues loading documents electronically, and that's going to set your time frame back.
My rate was fine. We finally closed. But then... that's their JOB. Service and support working you through the process is disappointing.
We were very pleased with OVM Financial. Communication was outstanding! All of our calls were either answered immediately or returned the same day. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire loan process via e-mail notifications of what information was needed from us and where we were regarding our loan. A huge shout-out to Jenna who was our go-to person the entire time. She initially worked at the office and then continued to provide top-notch service from her home with small children as Covid-19 changed everyone's lives. The whole process from beginning to end was a very short few weeks and they even had our loan ready to go when the closing date was moved up. I highly recommend OVM Financial for your mortgage needs!

My husband and I had the worst experience ever with working with JAMES OAKS. James is unprofessional, rude and lack of communication. As first time home buyers he did not explain the process throughly and he didn t listen to to the instructions of contacting me and not my husband being that he was deployed. Our closing date was pushed back due to his lack of communication and then on the closing date it took everything hours to be processed due to his poor time management. By the look of reviews, everyone else is better than JAMES OAKS. So please be mindful with the dealing with JAMES OAKS because he is very much so BAD BUSINESS.

What I thought was an impossible situation was resolved and all the potential hurdles throughout this loan process were overcome. 3 banks and financial institutions were unable to work with us because of some very complicated financial issues. Did I mention that the process occurred in less than 45 days. In addition a portion of their commission supports Waves for Water by purchasing 2 water filters which will provide clean water for 400 people for 5 years. I couldn't make this stuff up.
